About: I am a dog owner for the last 7 years (female rescue, 50lbs, lab/retriever.) Before her, I had cats my whole life. My pup is a part of my family and I would treat yours with the same care and compassion. I work from home, live in a duplex and I have a backyard that is mostly fenced (your dog would stay on a leash back there), and I live right next to Dreher Park where we could go for walks 1-2 times/day. Let's do a meet and greet! I work full time from home, and have lots of flexibility for walks and pets. In the evening, we take walks in Dreher Park right next door. Life is quiet around here. No smoking. I'll be here with them all day and can take them to the backyard or for walks in the park. I have a 50lb rescue that has been described by boarders as an alpha female, so she may get barky at first but it ends there.

“Yamille was a life-saver for us! We had planned to take our Havapoo fur baby with us on our trip, but at the last minute found out we could not take her. When I reached out to Yamille, she responded immediately. We exchanged messages back and forth and had a "meet and greet" via Facetime the next day. Yamille was so sweet to our little Salter and was very accommodating to our requests throughout the week that she cared for Salter. She took her harness off occasionally to brush her and also sent pics/videos. I believe Salter had a GREAT time with Yamille, her son, her pup and other pup friends. We flew home to NC later that day and Salter slept the entire journey - a sign that she had lots of playtime, snuggles and belly rubs from Yamille. About: I’ve been watching animals since I was 12. Including exotic small pets, which have lived long healthy lives. Most creatures I can handle and do not phase me. I’m a nursing student, so pet care usually offers me the ability to focus and more freedom than most jobs to study, while I walk animals (I use headphones) or snuggle with them. Pet care also keeps me focused; I like to schedule my planning around the pets' needs, which prevents my procrastination. About: I have taken care of dogs as well as cats since I was 10 years old when I got my first pet a small dog named bandit. Since then we have welcomed two wonderful cats into our home who I took care of until I went off to college. When I started to drive I got the opportunity and trust of students and parents at my school to watch there dogs while they were out of town or on vacation. However, when I went off to college I was unable to keep at it. Until this year that is. When I was recommended by that same family to watch some other dogs that were in my area. They travel a lot for softball mostly on the weekends so it was a good fit. I am ready to now expand into new territory here on this app! This is only part time and I do love it but recently people do not realize that I am only human. I have been so stressed out recently trying to please everyone but I can’t.
