Just before I dropped her off, Madi had been scratching and developed an issue with her eye pressure and had to start eye drops. Francis welcomed her with open arms. A few days into her stay, Madi needed a follow-up vet visit, and Francis took her in and handled everything—including her meds and eye drops—with so much care and attention. Madi is also on heart meds and requires extra support, and Francis went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and well looked after. She sent me daily updates and photos of her relaxing on the couch or exploring her big backyard, which gave me so much peace of mind. I knew Madi was in loving, capable hands. Francis is kind, thoughtful, and clearly has a huge heart for animals—she had a senior dog herself so she understands. I wouldn’t hesitate to have Madi stay with Francis again. About: I've grown up with pets in my home all my life, (until very recently) have always had at least a dog in the family. I have experience with many different breeds ranging from large pit bulls to tiny terriers. I have experience with different stages of life ranging from newborn puppies to deaf and blind elderly dogs. Our whole family has an intense love of animals and nature. I also have experience with house sitting for cats, birds and guinea pigs as well. I have open availability and ability to be flexible with my schedule in regard to drop-ins, walks or boarding. About: I enjoy walking and playing, and all the animals I have had the pleasure of taking care of benefit from that. My bloodhound /lab up north had high anxiety and high energy when we took her in, and after a few weeks of long walks twice a day she calmed down. My jack Russel was also high strung until her walks and playing. I live close to a park and to a trail which I walk to daily. I live in a peaceful area and my back yard is a bird haven. I have plenty of time, room, and love for your pet. I have taken care of friends, neighbors, and relatives pets for many years up north, and now I am ready to be your pets friend in the south. My house is set up to have plenty of room for any size dog. We are always outside and I live very close to a park.

I will treat your pup like family, keep you updated while you are away, and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for until you are back home. I work from home, which gives me flexibility throughout the day to provide dependable pet care. I am available for walks, drop in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship throughout the week. I can also accommodate evenings and weekends with advance notice. I believe pets feel safest when their normal routine is respected. I will follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, medications, and daily care. I keep a close eye on each pet, provide plenty of attention, and will always communicate with you so you know your pet is safe and happy.
About: I’ve been a dog owner of Cairns and Westies. We have a two year old German Shepherd. I just love the companionship of dogs. Love helping seniors with walking dogs or housesitting their pets for their trips away from home. I have recently moved from Colorado to Venice. I love walking dogs and caring for them. Weekend and overnight care is also available with some notice. As an owner of a German Shepherd I’m fully aware how difficult it can be to kennel your bff (pet). About: I've taken care of pets for friends and family for many years. I've done in home pet sitting, dog walking, and boarding. I have also done volunteer work at many different shelters. I graduated high school in May of 2026 and am currently an online college student with lots of free time to walk dogs at any time throughout the day. I care for dogs by making sure they are safe, comfortable, and cared for during every walk and visit.
