“This was my first time using Rover, and Catherine far exceeded my expectations! She agreed to a meet and greet with my pup and me before boarding started, and I could immediately feel her warmth (and my pup felt comfortable too). Catherine kept me updated, sending me pictures daily. She was so kind and took such good care of my girl. I would 100% recommend Catherine for anyone who wants to leave their pup with a loving sitter! 🤍”

We booked last minute stay because we wanted to provide our other baby with one last peaceful weekend before we said goodbye as she crossed over the rainbow bridge. Maxine knew this and was so compassionate in her communication with us and kept our spirits high by sending the most hilarious pictures of Rambo in tons of different costumes and scenarios. We’re so grateful that we found her and had her as our sitter, she made a very difficult time in our lives much easier by taking such great care of Rambo, which allowed us to give our sweet baby girl the best weekend send off.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment we met her, we knew Luna was in great hands. She kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious that Luna wasn’t just being watched…she was genuinely cared for and loved. When we picked Luna up, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly had a wonderful time. It’s such a relief to find someone trustworthy who treats your dog like family. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care for their furry family member. Thank you for taking such amazing care of Luna!”

“We first did a meet and greet with Rachel and her dog, Zeplin. The dogs were just fine together. I would definitley board again with Rachel. She was communicative and sent pictures of my dog doing just fine every day. She even worked with me on my pick up schedule since my flight was late getting back into town. Very nice!!”

About: I recently lost my soul dog of 16 years and would love to care for yours. I had Sadie from birth, and well versed with puppies, high energy dogs, and seniors. Comfortable administering medications and implementing any training or routines your dog needs. I work remote with a flexible schedule, and am typically home most days and evenings to spend with your pup and stick to their routine. I have a nice size fenced in yard, plus live close to Bayshore for long walks. If your dog is comfortable, I would enjoy taking them to the dog beach.
“Cece and her husband provide comfort in knowing your pet will be well taken care of and treated like family while you are away. They are awesome and provide many pictures, videos, and updates. Thank you for taking such good care of Benito!”

About: I have been dog sitting since I was about for about 7 years for neighbors and friends. I have also walked my elderly neighbor's dog for them when they were unable to. I am currently working full time but I love to go on long walks in my spare time! I enjoy being outside and meeting new fur babies. Depending on how you request, I could meet you at your front door or come into your home to retrieve your fur baby to take them on a walk. I do understand that living in Florida where is mostly hot and humid and some dogs cannot handle the heat or become exhausted easily. However long you request to have your dog walked I will bring a water bowl for your pet to stay hydrated. :) I am currently working full time but I am trying to open up my schedule more by the end of summer. But I am currently available on the weekends and some days during the week. I can be flexible to just message me and I will let you know! Walking your dog around your neighborhood where your fur baby is familiar is important to me! I will make sure your fur baby has plenty of water and time to enjoy themselves on our walk. For drop ins I will sit with your baby as long as is needed. Making sure they get cuddles, stimulation, meds, and just some human time.

She took such good care of my cat Tiki, my cat was going through a medical situation throughout the time Jenna was watching her and she handled it so well and I came back from vacation to a much healthier cat! I’m so impressed by her communication and tender care towards my cat. I will hire her again in a heartbeat and recommend her to anybody!”

About: I have had a dog in the household all my life and enjoy spending my time with pets. This past year and a half I have been working with Guide Dogs of America to raise a future service animal. I walked dogs in my neighborhood in Tampa and enjoyed every minute of it. I am currently a student at UCF studying biology on the pre-med track. I only have 2 classes a day which leaves lots of time for me to walk your dog! I am available most weekends as well. I have worked with animals my whole life and have their best interest at heart. I love all animals and ensure that I am making the best, most comfortable, environment for every animal I meet.

About: I’ve spent my whole life caring for animals and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your animals. I have experience caring for pets who need extra attention, including senior pets, anxious pets, and animals with medical needs. I’m also comfortable giving medications and following specific care routines, as I have my own pets who require daily medication and extra support. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine, and I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide consistent attention and care throughout the day. I enjoy planning my time around each pet's needs, whether that means walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping them company. My biggest priority when caring for pets is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m very attentive when it comes to feeding schedules, medications, behaviors, and changes in mood or energy. Having pets of my own, including ones with health needs, I understand how important it is to follow instructions carefully and notice when something seems off.

About: We are lifelong animal lovers with over 30 years of combined experience caring for pets. Jeni grew up with German Shepherds and has always had a dog in the home. She began pet sitting as a service for friends and family 15 years ago. Marc also grew up with family dogs and, for the past 13 years, he’s loved on his own high-energy pup, Cooper. Now as a married couple we have a “blended family” with our senior dog Cooper and our adult dog Leila as our loyal companions. Because we both work from home with flexible schedules, your pet will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. We love animals of all sizes and personalities and treat every pet like part of the family. Whether you need us to watch your dog in our home, drop in for visits, or take them on a walk, your furbaby will be in great hands! For dogs staying in our home, we have a secure fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely play and enjoy the outdoors. Since we both work from home, we’re able to let our own dogs outside whenever they want to go - yours will be treated just like our own! Our goal is to make sure your pet feels comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. We’re always happy to send updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in great hands. Pet care fits naturally into our flexible work-from-home schedule, allowing frequent walks, playtime, feeding, and attentive supervision throughout the day. Our flexible schedule also gives us the chance to take the dogs on a walk through the day. 🐾 We have two dogs and a securely fenced in yard where they play outside many times a day. For stays in our home, dogs can be let outside as often as they want to go outside. For drop in visits, we follow your instructions and requests.
“Bruno’s first Rover experience went well! He can be selective and wary of strangers but Melinda and David made him feel comfortable and took it slow with him. Will book again! Thank you!”

About: I treat every pet like family and take the time to learn their unique personality, routine, and needs. I’m dependable, patient, and love keeping owners updated with photos and messages so they always know their pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. Pet care is something I truly enjoy and naturally make time for every day. Since I have a flexible schedule, I can give pets the attention, love, and consistency they deserve. I love going on walks, playing, cuddling, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy while their family is away. I know how much pets mean to their owners, so I treat every animal with the same patience, affection, and care that I would want for my own. My goal is for both pets and their owners to feel completely at ease, knowing they’re in loving and dependable hands. I care for every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their family is away. I always follow each owner’s routine for feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special instructions because I know consistency helps pets feel secure. I’m very active and love being outdoors. I walk my own dog every day, usually around the Riverwalk and Bayshore, and we average about 4 miles a day. Because of that, I’m happy caring for dogs that enjoy long walks, exercise, and plenty of playtime, while also understanding that some pets simply want companionship, cuddles, and a calm environment. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I make sure they receive lots of attention, affection, exercise, and regular updates so their owners can have peace of mind knowing their pet is happy and well cared for.
“Rachel was great with Honey! She sent plenty of pictures and updates throughout the day and Honey looked happy as a clam in every photo. Rachel also was willing to work with my schedule, was kind, and dependable. I would definitely recommend her! 💛”

About: Hi everyone! New to Rover after pet sitting from word of mouth and referrals back in North Carolina. I am flexible with pricing to start generating some bookings and reviews in FL! I have been pet sitting for over 10 years with all types of dogs. I have experience fostering dogs of all breeds and sizes, most which come from bad situations and need help with their confidence and training, so I am able to help potty train and work through other issues. I have one small dog, Nemo. Care would be private (only your dog and Nemo) safety is my first priority, and they will be watched at all times! My avalibility is set only for days that I will be able to be home 24/7. If other days are needed and your dog is good to be by themselves for any certain time, message me and I will be more available !! I work from home Monday and Friday and reserve my weekends for spending time with my pup. My dog Nemo has separation anxiety so I am normally home with him all day, or bring the dogs with me to a local restaurant or park to get outside and be active. This will be a private service, only Nemo and your dog. I am very attentive and will be able to send lots of pictures to you!
About: Dogs are quiet literally my favorite thing in the world. I have two of my own, Stella (a 9 year old chihuahua mix) and Daisy (a 3 year old pug). I am a dedicated, diligent, and extremely loving dog owner, and I will treat your dogs as if they were my own. Stella has health issues, so I am very comfortable caring for any pet's unique needs and administering medication. Stella is also leash reactive (classic little dog syndrome), so I am comfortable managing all different types of doggie personalities. Back in college, I actually also used to walk dogs and board them in my home as well. My house is extremely clean and pet safe, and you can be assured I will take nothing short of excellent care of your fur babies. I I recently graduated from the Anesthesia Assistant program in Nova Southeastern University, and will begin working at local hospital in November, as the credentialing and state licensing process takes a few months. In the meantime, my schedule is completely open! I live in a large, 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment, that I keep spotless and safe for the pups. My dogs are allowed on the couch and on the beds (and I even have staircases for them in each bedroom since mine are small girls!). I also have multiple dog beds / huts, so you can assure your doggie will be comfortable with me.

“Alex is so easy to work with! I originally connected with Alex in hopes that I could find an occasional weekend sitter but he takes such good care of Shadow that I am using him even on my week days while I go into the office or have errands. I highly recommend.”

About: I’ve had dogs for 20 years. I used to volunteer for the SPCA to help walk, bathe, clean and train dogs. I really enjoy working with dogs and figuring out what makes them happy! About: I’ve always been someone friends can count on when they need an extra hand with their pets, whether that’s going for walks, checking in, or keeping them company while they’re away. I have experience with dogs of different ages and energy levels, from walking and playing with puppies to looking after older dogs who need a little more patience and a slower pace. I grew up around both dogs and cats and am comfortable learning the routines and personalities that make each pet different. I don’t currently have pets of my own, so I love getting the chance to spend time with animals while giving their owners someone dependable and attentive they can trust. I’ll keep my Rover availability up to date so you can easily see when I’m available! I’ll always follow the instructions you provide and take the time to get to know your dog. I’m attentive on walks, respectful of your home and belongings, and will make sure your dog is safely settled back in before I leave.
“Anthony has been a godsend with my sweet boy, Finn. He’s always happy to see him and cries when he leaves because he wants more of his time! He’s great at updating you with photos, taking new routes so they stay engaged, and I feel like he really cares for him! So happy I booked him to walk my boy when I’m at work!”

About: What sets us apart is that your dog becomes part of a real, active family home—not just a boarding situation. With a structured daily routine, lots of attention, and a home full of care, we treat every dog like they belong with us. Your pup won’t be left alone in a quiet kennel environment—they’ll be included in family life, walks, and consistent companionship. Someone is almost always home too so you know your baby is in constant care. I am a preschool teacher and am off summer and holiday breaks. I work mornings and am only a 60 second walk from the church I work at so am available to come home quickly! We have watched many, many dogs for friends and family in past and now with the kids of age to work and the love of dogs we’re expanding! I am a preschool teacher at my church that is a 60 second walk from my house, I also have teenage triplets who both babysit and dog sit (they love to do both), so someone is always home and available for walks, feedings, and love. The triplets are very active sports wise so having our own dog in this season isn’t an option so we love any and all opportunities to have one in our home, it is such a blessing! We have a wonderful, quiet street near Bayshore perfect for walking. Most of the people on our street our retired with dogs so dogs are the children around here! Having three teenagers as well who absolutely love dogs ensures your pup is being overfilled with love.

“If I could give more stars I would. Piercen came to walk my baby girl at a very short notice and I appreciate him so much for that. He kept me up to date on everything. He’s great!!”

About: We've never met pets we didn't love! Taking care of animals is our self care. My Mom and I have had pets since I was little. One of us is always home to administer care for our fur babies and friends. We have 2 little terriers at home who thrive off dog treats and long days at dog beach. We love the dog park and to go on walks all day everyday. My Mom, Nikki and I are the primary care takers and almost always one of us is home with the pups. We promise to ensure your fur babies are loved, fed. We'll do our best to accommodate needs to ensure the best possible home environment for your pup. For Housesitting bookings: we are happy to send pics and videos of your pups while you are away! Given our reasonable rates and business demands, we will not sit at your home 24/7. If you need around the clock care, you will be best suited to book elsewhere. Our first priority is the care of your fur babies and to keep their schedule as close to consistent and what they are used to as possible. If you do not have sleeping space for us as a guest, ie a bed, we will ask you choose a boarding booking instead of housesitting. The couch or air mattress is not considered a bed, especially for long term stays longer than a few days.
About: I've had my own dog for 11 years now, before that I grew up with a family chocolate lab. I've always had dogs in my life and my sister is a vet so I've experienced a lot and learned a lot. I would never let a dog get hurt! I treat dogs like humans :) I know what to do in many different situations because I've had experience with dogs my entire life, big and small. My boyfriend and I have watched a dog overnight for 2 weeks before. Our dog, Piper is nice and relaxed and gets along well with others. She loves having a friend around like she did when I was in college living with my roommate who had a Maltese. Day to day: I wake up at 7, walk my dog, then feed her. We hang out, I might go run some errands and puppy proof the apartment before I leave. I'll come back and let her out again. At night I let her out once after I feed her at 7, so about 8:30, then once more before I go to bed. I play with my dog a lot and she likes to snuggle. I would do all these things for your dog and anything else you request! My schedule is flexible, so I can fit walks into your dog’s routine with ease. I’m based in South Tampa and happy to travel up to 45 minutes. I keep my bookings consistent and reliable, and I’ll always show up on time and ready to give your pup a great walk. Since I offer dog walking, I come to you and care for your dog in their own familiar environment. I follow your instructions on leashing, routes, and routine exactly. Safety is my top priority: I keep your dog leashed, avoid hazards, stay alert to their body language, and never put them in a situation that feels off. My sister is a vet, so I know how to spot when something is wrong.

“Samuel took wonderful care of Coco. Communication was great from the start, and he kept me updated with photos and videos, which I really appreciated. His home and location were perfect and made drop-off easy, and Coco was comfortable right away. She’ll definitely be back—she already misses him!”

“Melinda and David were so understanding of our dog’s needs. He is very nervous around new people and just needs someone who will respect his boundaries and let him warm up. They immediately understood this and did everything we asked to make him and us feel comfortable.”

“I received many photos showing that Jax was happy, entertained, and relaxed. I liked that he was with other dogs, and that Erving was present most of the time with them. Very happy with the service.”

“10/10 recommend ! Took care of my best friend like her own. Sent me so many daily pictures and updates while I was away missing my girl. Couldn’t be happier :)”

“Grace was awesome - she took amazing care of my dog and was in great communication with me the entire time. I felt at ease and she was very flexible with me as my plans were changing for drop off and pickup. Her family took awesome care of my dog - would book in the future!”

“Bella was so great with my pup Gino. She sent so many photos and updates while I was away and he came back to me happy and healthy. I will definitely be a return customer and can confidently recommend her to others!”

“Our dog Margaux had the best time staying with Autumn and their dog Baylor. Autumn was a very thorough caretaker and sent us lots of pictures and videos while we were away. She gave us plenty of updates and our dog looked sad to leave them when we picked her up! We will definitely be contacting Autumn again for our future Rover needs.”

“Cassandra was excellent with Pepper. Great communication with daily updates and photos. My old girl was not stressed at all while I was away. Would definitely recommend Cassandra and will be requesting her again!”

“Absolutely Amazing! Super patient. Great with my dog who tends to pull a lot on walks. Great communication. Updated me throughout the stay. Viviana made a stressful trip waaaay easier. Thanks Viviana!!!”

“Kendra was such a pleasure to work with. She and her fiancé were so sweet to Ike and sent me so many fun pictures. She really tool great care of my little old man and I would HIGHLY recommend her services. I will be using her again.”

“Grateful that Hailey was willing to take Leo for 5 nights on relatively short notice. Leo was 10-11 months old and a rehome when we adopted him about 16 months ago, and this was his first stay away from our home, so you can imagine I carefully reviewed sitters on Rover. Hailey was my number one choice. She encouraged a meet and greet, which I also think is essential. Hailey listened carefully as I described Leo and his quirks. She gave Leo the space and time needed for him to settle in and warm up to her and she was quite prompt with meeting times and dog walks. Leo seemed quite content when I picked him up. I'd love to board Leo with Hailey again when the need arises.”

“Madisyn is the best! She truly loves my dogs and put my mind at ease. This was the first time leaving them so I was nervous but Madisyn sent lots of pics and videos showing how much fun they were having. I will always take my pups here when we travel.”

“Highly recommend! My pup had been attacked unprovoked in the past and Grant was so patient & kind with Shay and my own anxieties. His pup Koda is so sweet and they were best friends! 100% will use Grant again.”

“Chante was great with my dog. She was very attentive and communicative. My dog was very well taken care of and I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

About: Hi! My name is Caden, and I have a lifelong love for animals. Their safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priorities. I believe every pet deserves to be treated with kindness, patience, and the same love and care they receive from their family. I currently serve in the United States Air Force, where I've developed discipline, reliability, and exceptional attention to detail. Those qualities carry over into the care I provide for every pet. You can count on me to follow your instructions carefully, maintain your pet's routine, and prioritize their safety at all times. I've cared for family pets throughout my life and have experience with animals of many different sizes and temperaments. I have also cared for a variety of other animals, including raccoons and other exotic animals. Most recently, I boarded a fellow Air Force member's dog for a full week, providing daily walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention. I enjoy walking dogs of all breeds and sizes and understand that every pet has unique needs. Living in Florida, I'm especially aware of the risks associated with the heat, including hot pavement, dehydration, and exhaustion. I plan walks around the weather, check pavement temperatures, provide water when needed, and always make your pet's comfort and safety my highest priority. Whether your pet needs daily walks, drop-in visits, boarding, or companionship while you're away, you can have peace of mind knowing they'll be cared for like one of my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! My availability is every day after 3:00 PM, and I also offer boarding for pets who need a safe and comfortable place to stay. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else requires trust, which is why I focus on providing a secure, caring, and stress-free environment. During boarding stays, I make sure pets receive proper attention, exercise, companionship, and a routine that helps them feel comfortable while their owners are away. Whether your pet needs an evening walk, a drop-in visit, or a place to stay overnight, I am committed to providing dependable care and treating every pet like family. Safety, trust, and a positive environment are my highest priorities when caring for your pets. I understand that your pet is a valued member of your family, and I treat every animal with the same care, patience, and attention I would want for my own. With my background in the United States Air Force, I bring discipline, responsibility, and attention to detail to every visit. I take the time to understand your pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs so they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for while you are away. I focus on creating a safe and stress-free environment where pets can feel relaxed, loved, and protected. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in visit, or boarding stay, I prioritize proper supervision, safe handling, and clear communication with owners so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands.
