The care and attention she received was top notch. Since she is still a baby, I wanted the flexibility to spend some time with her every day then return her as needed. Melissa & Harlee were very accommodating. When we showed up, Penny was ready to go without missing a beat. Throughout Penny’s stay, I received updates and some of the cutest, most fun pictures of her adventures. Everyday, when we visited with Penny, she was exhausted from all the fun she had been having. Just consistent, attentive care from sunrise to bedtime. One thing to keep in mind: I don't drive, so all drop-offs and pick-ups take place at my home. I'll work with you to find a time that's convenient, and I'll make sure your pet is ready and waiting when you arrive! I keep a clean, pet friendly space where they can play around the house or relax on the couch with me. Our apartment does not have a private yard but there is plenty of open ground with grass outside for your pet to walk and sniff around. I’m very big on supervised interactions. I have a social dog (Shadow) and a shy cat (Mikael), so I’m used to managing different personalities and making sure everyone feels safe and respected. Your pet will be in my sight throughout the day, and I will stick to whatever feeding or potty schedule you provide to keep things consistent and stress free for your pet. I work from Monday to Friday until 3 pm and I have the rest of the day off. On the weekends I have all day off so I could do the task on the afternoon some days of the week and also on the weekends. I have a fenced yard in my apartment they can use to play.The apartment inside is pet-proofing ,there is no hazardous items that could put them in danger. Is safe and clean.

“My boyfriend and I came to the Keys on vacation with our 8 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback. We booked an all day adventure, and Donna & Gary were gracious enough to keep our boy for the day. We were nervous how Odin would be with strangers, but were pleased to hear our pup was a "little angel"! Donna & Gary were wonderful! Able to be available anytime after 5pm monday through friday and anytime on the weekend. I am able come to your home and walk and feed. My dog is up to date on his shots and is crate trained. If I am selected to care for your animals I will feed and walk on your schedule but I will not be able to house sit in my home.

About: I house sat for multiple neighbors when I was in high school. Since then I have house sat or helped friends with their pets through out the years. These jobs were always just as favors, but they would return to me for the job they needed. I come from a family with lots of animals. We always had dogs, cats, rabbits, and horses growing up. All for pets and I love them all! ☺️ I work from home part time. Thus my hours for this job are very flexible. I would prefer to work mid day between 10:00-2:00 MTWF I can not accommodate in home services. Due to roommate’s dog sometimes having an issue with other animals and sometimes not having an issue with other animals. Thus I can not risk there being an issue with your animal.
About: I rescued my first dog at 7 years old and ever since I’ve been in love with taking care of animals and making sure their needs are met! I have a set schedule each week. Weekly availability is around 20-25 hours a week where I am able to come by and watch, walk, feed, and play with the animals. I like to make sure that the animals feel as comfortable as possible. Staying attentive to the animals is always a top priority while watching them, to ensure the animals are tended to and the owners are happy.
About: I have lived in the keys for over 12 years and have helped many residents find dogs to adopt and have helped with training and exercising dogs. I have been caring for dogs and cats most of my life. I run a non profit animal rescue and have cared for as many as 20 dogs at a time. I am a PhD professional and I work from home. I am looking to raise money for my rescue and looking for dogs to exercise with. My 3 dogs will only do so much!! It has always been challenging to find people I trust to sit my dogs or care for them if I can't so I want to help my neighbors by offering this service. Let's discuss what I can do to assist you and your furry friends in living your best balanced life together. I work from home so I can easily take a break to let your dog out or take him for a run or walk. I can even take him to a sandbar or a paddle board ride. Dogs for boarding or day care in my home will be based on a case by case basis. I will come to your house as many times as needed to care for your pets. Dogs that come to my house will be exercised in whatever way they need, I have a fenced yard. I prefer to have over night dogs crated...but any over night dogs will be screened prior to make sure it's a good fit.
