About: I grew up on a sheep farm with inside and outside dogs. Fostered with the Carolina Great Pyrenees Rescue and local shelter as a kid. NC State Agricultural Science graduate with an Animal Science minor. Now, I teacher middle school agriculture, running an on campus barn with 15 rabbits, 4 goats, 13 chcikens, dairy cows, and pigs. Our schedule changes week to week due to school/farm activities. I live 5 minutes from school and leave for work around 7am and am home around 4pm. I am available to come home at lunch around 11:30am. Your pet may attend some agricultural functions with us as permitted. During the summer, when school is out, we are home much more. Dogs may have free roam around the downstairs (kitchen/livingroom). Walks around the neighborhood will be provided on leash and there is a dog park for off leash play. Dog-care windows: * Standard visits generally take place between 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM * Morning visits may begin as early as 8:00 AM * Evening visits may be available for dogs who need additional flexibility **Cat-care windows:** * My preferred cat visit window is between 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM * Visits requiring medication or strict timing will be scheduled around those needs whenever possible Dogs are generally prioritized earlier because of restroom needs, but every pet receives the same level of care, attention, and communication. 🐾 Premium boarding Boarding is a high-touch, in-home service for clients who want a fully hands-off experience while their dog is away. At this time, boarding is available only to dogs who already have an established walking, drop-in, or daycare relationship with me. This helps ensure your dog is already comfortable with me, my home, my routine, and my resident pets before an overnight stay. If a boarding stay must be ended for safety reasons, care may be converted to drop-in visits at your home for feeding, potty breaks, and companionship whenever possible. 🚗 Premium pick-up and drop-off For added convenience, I offer pet transportation as an optional add-on. I can personally pick up or return your dog along my existing daily route, allowing you to leave your dog comfortably at home without coordinating an in-person handoff. My goal is to be both your pet’s advocate and your peace of mind while you’re away. 🚨 Safety and stress policy Safety is always my top priority, both for your pet and for me. If a pet displays aggression, extreme fear, severe anxiety, or behavior that makes a visit unsafe, I will still make every reasonable effort to ensure their essential needs are met, including food, water, medication when safely possible, and potty access. However, I may modify or shorten the visit if continuing would increase stress or create a risk of injury. This is never done as punishment. It is a safety decision intended to prevent escalation and protect everyone involved. Any significant concerns will be clearly documented and communicated to you. 🛏️ Crate or confinement requirement for boarding For boarding stays, dogs must be comfortable resting safely in a crate, exercise pen, gated room, or behind another secure household barrier. This is a firm boarding requirement. At night, during meals when separation is needed, and anytime dogs cannot be directly supervised, boarding guests will be safely confined. This gives every animal appropriate space to rest and ensures all pets remain secure while I am sleeping, showering, completing household tasks, or briefly away from home. Crates and gated spaces are always used as calm, neutral resting areas, never as punishment. If your dog normally uses a crate, pen, gated room, or another confinement routine at home, please share the details with me so I can keep their stay as familiar and low-stress as possible. Dogs do not need to love being crated, but they must be able to tolerate safe confinement without panicking, attempting to escape, or injuring themselves. If your dog is not currently comfortable with any form of secure separation, boarding may not be the right fit at this time. In that case, drop-in care in their own home may be a safer and more comfortable alternative. This is non-negotiable.

About: I go by He/him and It/its! I've been looking after dogs as soon as I turned 8. I have experience with high-energy animals, as I take care of two at the moment. I have experience administering medication, bathing, walking and tending to the needs of those with skin issues. I am fully available any day of the week, including the weekend, starting 10 AM. However, I am not open on Thursdays until after 5 PM. I do not take requests for boarding at the moment due to the unpredictable nature of my own animals. Pet care fits very easily into my weekly routine since I’m currently home for the summer and have a very flexible schedule. I’m taking online summer classes, but I’m able to adjust my study times and work around pet care needs, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Almost any time of day works for me, and I’m very open to compromising and coordinating with clients to fit their schedule. I’m used to managing busy routines, so I stay organized, communicate clearly, and am reliable with consistent pet care times. I prioritize safety, consistency, and respect for every pet’s environment. I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, horses, and more, and I’ve also helped train and handle dogs in different settings. Family and friends have entrusted me with their pet care since I was 16, during college, and even the military. I have experience with puppies, middle age, and senior dogs as well as small, medium, and large dogs. I’ve house trained as well as taught tricks to four dogs so far. In addition to that, I have experience with healthy dogs as wells as those with medical needs (I.e. drawing and administering the correct prescribed amount of insulin for diabetic dogs). If they love making friends, then I have a sweet Cockapoo named Bentley who would love to keep them company and share his treats. If your pet requires to be caged at any point during the day, then that can be accommodated. Lastly, I have video surveillance to keep an extra eye on the animals in addition to me being vigilant and attentive.
About: I have taken care of all types of animals ranging from dogs to chickens, as well as birds and horses, and have grown up with cats all my life. The dog breeds I have cared for in my work experience have been pitbulls, standard poodles, lab/hound mixes, golden retrievers, chow mixes, chihuahuas, etc. I am currently taking a year off from working as a full-time elementary teacher, so my availability has become much more flexible in regards to accommodating future clients' schedules. I truly believe every pet has a unique personality. I approach pet care with attentiveness, patience, and playfulness so animals feel safe, understood, and well cared for. My goal is always happy pets and complete peace of mind for their owners. I work a full-time schedule during the week, but I’m happy to provide care before and after work and occasionally in the evenings depending on timing and location. With advance notice, I’m also happy to adjust my weekend schedule to fit your pet’s routine. I do my best to accommodate requests whenever possible. I treat my pets as family, and I have witnessed my family and friends care for pets as if they are a child. On days I couldn’t bring my dog along, I trusted the people watching him to do the same, and maybe even add a little extra love for missing his family.

“Katrina and her girls were awesome! This was our first time leaving for a vacation since we adopted our dog so of course we were a little nervous. Katrina and her family immediately put us at ease. Our pound pup was nervous upon arrival but Katrina met us at the door with treats and knew just what to do to chill our dog out. She has a beautiful property with lots of room for our dog to run and sniff. While we were gone Katrina kept us updated with how our pup was doing and sent us plenty of pictures.
