Your dear dog will be in good hands at this lovely rover home.”

“Lindsay is an awesome dog sitter. I had to leave the state for a couple of weeks and was perfectly comfortable having my “kid” at her house. It’s nice because she works out of her home and do you know about the dog isn’t love for long periods of time. I will definitely use her again !”
“I used Rover for the first time and was honestly a little skeptical because of past experiences. However, my original sitter had an emergency and recommended Rover, so I decided to give it a try. After reading countless reviews, I came across Alyssa and felt comfortable enough to book with her and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I met her, I felt at ease leaving my baby in her care. She was incredibly sweet, very communicative, and always responded promptly with pictures and videos whenever I checked in. What really stood out to me was how flexible and accommodating she was, especially since this was a last-minute booking she truly was a lifesaver. Most importantly, when I picked up my baby, she was so happy and comfortable. She didn’t seem anxious or like she was trying to rush out, which meant everything to me. I would absolutely book Alyssa again anytime I’m visiting Sarasota. Thank you so much, Alyssa!”

“After never having spent even one night alone in our Florida home, a family matter took us out of state and we had to leave our cat alone for 5 days/4 nights. We were very anxious to leave our kitty alone but felt confident all would be okay after meeting Carolina. She was on time for all visits, spent time with our shy kitty and gave us reports with pictures after every visit. We came home to a well-fed and content kitty --- and clean eating and litter areas. Would definitely recommend Carolina and hire again!”

“Kathy took wonderful care of our cat Latte again. She makes sure Latte is well-fed, with her primary food as well as treats, has plenty of clean water, has a clean box, and has good human-cat interaction. We have used Kathy before and will definitely use her again. She also leaves the areas Latte”

“Kim is reliable, trustworthy and loving. She took great care of my cat that has separation anxiety issues. First time I’ve come home from a trip where I didn’t have to take him to the vet for being stressed! A million thanks Kim.”

“Beth was a wonderful host for Teddy. He can be very anxious on his first visit, but Beth obviously knew how to handle him and make him calm. She opened her home and sent a picture as they sat together. He was so relaxed on the ride home, I could tell he enjoyed the day with Beth and Snickers! Thanks Beth for going the extra mile!”

“This was my first time booking with Stephanie. I am visiting from out of town. She kept my 2 Cavaliers for the day and all went very well. She sent me pics of my babies throughout the day. They got outside time in the big fenced back yard and they were happy and healthy when I picked them up. I was very satisfied and will book again.”

“Nicholas is our new favorite sitter! His relaxing easy going personality is a perfect fit for our two pups. I tell them on the way there that they are going to spend the day AT THE GREAT BIG YARD! So much room for activities! So many sniffs and smells and sights and yard to check out. Then, especially since it's summer, plenty of snoozing on the couch or cool tiles. Nicholas has been agreeable with some time changes and is super responsive when I have a question. We're new to Rover and will likely not look any further for a sitter now that we've found Nicholas and The Great Big Yard! Thank you, Nicholas!”

“Brianna was so great with Fin. He had a long traveling car to Sarasota and was exhausted. Lots of new places for him. She was very good with him which was such a relief for me, as I never left him with anyone before.”

I can't wait to keep your furry best friends safe, happy, and thoroughly spoiled while you're away! Because my other part-time commitments total only 6 hours a week, my schedule is incredibly flexible, leaving me with plenty of open time to focus entirely on caring for your pets! “Charlotte and Randy are absolutely wonderful. I was very anxious about leaving my spoo with anyone and they were fabulous. They have their own little spoo and Churchill felt so at home with them and would get so excited to visit them, this from a dog who doesn't like strangers. They were only strangers for one day. He knew when his daycare day was and would be so excited to go. I can't thank them or recommend them highly enough for the way they loved my dog. I'm sorry to be moving away because we will miss them greatly. Do not hesitate to leave your dog with them. If you have a poodle even better.”

I’m very grateful for the care they gave her and I would absolutely trust them with Lulu again in the future. Highly recommended.”

“Deborah is very attentive and caring. She spends a lot of time at home with the dogs she has and is very good at timely communication. She is pleasant and trustworthy. Thank you.”

“Tiffany did a great job caring for our babies! Our dogs were comfortable and I felt confident that they were in good care. Our babies enjoyed their vacation with Tiffany while we were away. We will definitely use Tiffany again in the future. Thank you so much!”

“Thank you very much Charlotte! Breeze had a wonderful time. She went to sleep as soon as she arrived home. Exhausted of playing so much!!! she is even snoring ... Great job, totally recommended. See you again. Juanita Bell”

“Asya and family are wonderful! They all come running out to greet Yogi and I when we get there, and can tell they are really excited to have him. Asya is timely with updates, and really easy to work with. Can't recommend enough!”

“Mylena is amazing! My dog Tessa has never been around children and let her know I was worried about that and she put me at ease the morning of drop off. This was my first time putting my animal in boarding before. Mylena texted me EVERY day with pics and updates. My heart broke leaving her for 2 weeks, but I knew she was in great hands. I will ALWAYS go back when I need a pet sitter. Thank youuuuu so much for making my girl feel right at home. Highly recommend!!!!!!!”

“Pamela is the best sitter we could ask for. Every time we go on vacation, Nico gets one too. He’s always so relaxed and happy being with Pamela and her family , you can tell he’s genuinely loved and cared for, not just watched. We never worry when he’s with her, which as dog parents is honestly the biggest gift. Can’t recommend her highly enough. Nico (and we!) are always so excited for his next stay with her.”

“Sierra is excellent. She's professional and accommodating. She loves animals and will take great care of your pet. We highly recommend her and would definitely use her again in the future!”
“Christal took great care of my cat while I was on vacation! He got lots of attention and she sent me cute photos of my cat. I would highly recommend her for boarding and plan to have her look after my cat in the future.”

“Lucca our 11-year old cavalier has never had a pet sitter that wasn’t immediate family. Kelli offered to meet before our vacation and we were comfortable from then on. She asked extensive questions about his care & handled his somewhat complicated medication and food schedule like a pro. So happy to have found Kelli. She is very trustworthy and gave excellent updates every day. Lucca was so loved while we were gone & his transition back home after 5 days was seamless. I will be contacting her soon to help again. :)”

“Our dog had such a wonderful stay with Lori!! She did an awesome job communicating and sending pictures during his stay which alleviated a lot of my anxiety about leaving him with someone new. Thank you Lori and Jim for making Toby feel at home!”

About: I’m a certified Veterinary Technician with hands-on clinical experience, which sets me apart from most sitters who don’t have a medical background. I can recognize early signs of illness, injury, or distress that an untrained eye might miss — and I know how to respond calmly if something comes up. Specific skills I bring: • Medication administration — comfortable with oral and topical meds, including multi-pet or complex schedules • Senior pet care — experienced with mobility issues, medication timing, and the extra patience older pets need • Puppy care — house training reinforcement, socialization, and safe exercise for growing joints • Anxious or special-needs pets — calm, patient handling for pets who need extra reassurance • Health monitoring — tracking eating, energy, and bathroom habits so you get an accurate picture, not just “they’re fine Pet care is a consistent, reliable part of my week, not something squeezed in around other plans. Monday through Thursday, I’m available after 4:30 PM through 7 AM the next morning — perfect for evening walks, overnight stays, or early morning visits before your day starts. Friday through Sunday, I’m open all day and night, so weekend trips, full-day pet sitting, and last-minute weekend bookings are easy to accommodate. This schedule means your pet gets steady, dependable care on a routine they can count on — whether it’s a weekday evening walk after work or a full weekend of overnight sitting. Overnight & House Sitting I stay in your home so your pet keeps their normal routine, environment, and comfort — no stressful car rides or unfamiliar spaces. I follow their existing feeding, walk, and medication schedule exactly as you’d do it, and I spend real time with them (not just quick check-ins) so they get companionship, not just care. I also keep an eye on the house — bringing in mail/packages, watering plants, and making sure everything’s secure while you’re away. Dog Walking & Drop-In Visits I arrive on schedule and give your pet my full attention for the visit — fresh food and water, a walk or bathroom break, and playtime or affection depending on their energy level. For pets on medication, I handle that at the right time with the right dose. I always do a quick health/behavior check while I’m there, since my vet tech background means I notice things like changes in appetite, energy, or mobility. Every visit, regardless of service • Daily photo and video updates so you can see exactly how things are going • Care that matches their routine, not a one-size-fits-all approach • Attentiveness to health and behavior, not just supervision I don’t currently offer boarding in my own home — all my services take place at your home, so your pet stays in their own familiar space.
“Again I’ve had Marlena watch my pup several times and he has so much fun when he comes home, he sleeps for like 2 days lol That even went to the Farmers Market and took my pup with them and had him in dog carriage and he got all the attention and prob loved it lol”

“If we could go higher than 5 stars, we would. Morgan willingly accepted caring for our anxious Aussie after our vet recommended that we find one-on-one care for him, rather than boarding him in a "commercial" facility. Morgan daily sent notes and photos of him at play with other dogs in her care and made sure that he got plenty of exercise as well as a lot of personal attention, petting and loving. Morgan even allowed him to sleep with her, thus continuing to provide the human contact his highly anxious personality craves. He never once needed any of his prescribed anxiety medication! Instead of being super-stressed out when we picked him up, he was happy and calm. Morgan's calmness, care and nurturing is exactly what he needed. We cannot thank her enough for giving us peace of mind during our time spent with family over the holidays.”
