She sent me a picture of my Jakey-Boy so I could see he was content. He had never been boarded ever, so I had worries, that were needless. “Linda and Brian cared for our Rue girl for two weeks while we were out of the country. It’s impossible to put into words how much we appreciate the love and care that was extended to our baby. She made fast friends with their sweet dog, Carmi, and Linda sent daily pictures or videos showing them having so much fun together and then napping together from exhaustion. Linda made the time to meet us well in advance of caring for Rue and really listened to what Rue needed, including walks, being brushed, the ability to have her crate to sleep or take breaks in when she wanted, and following her feeding schedule. Linda allowed Rue free rein in her home, and even made time for her to relax on the lanai to people and bird watch; something she loves to do at home. Rue had an amazing time, and this allowed my husband and I to really enjoy our vacation knowing she was having the time of her life too. We wholeheartedly recommend Linda for pet sitting services. About: I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, horses, cattle, chickens, ducks, sheep, and pigs. I started showing animals at my county fair when I was 9 years old. I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life until I moved to Florida this year to live with and help take care of my grandpa. It would be a blessing to find some new animal friends to love on! I am currently working full time the the Lido Beach Resort as the Front Office Supervisor. My schedule is 3 PM to 11 PM so my mornings are free. If needed, I am also more than happy to swing by after my shift to walk/check on pets. I am unable to board pets at my house at this time, but I do not take going into other homes lightly. I have trained therapy dogs and one service dog. I love all animals and they love me. I often say I'd rather spend time with dogs than people. I teach music lessons one afternoon a week but other than that your dog will have lots of attention. About: Growing up, I always begged for a pet every chance I got. I have so much love, appreciation, and passion for not only pets but for animals as a whole, and this hasn't changed since I was a kid. In my free time I enjoy playing with my pets and watching animal documentaries. About: We specialize in large breed/high energy dogs; but all shapes, sizes, and ages are welcome! I have cared for dogs and cats for over 30 years; have been responsible for thousands of live animal shipments; managed operations for the largest pet transportation company in the US. Currently working Mon-Fri, therefor, we are only sitting weekends. All animals will have plenty of opportunity for outside and play time. K9 Unit LLC's home base features a fenced in back yard in a quiet neighborhood and private crates for sleeping and alone time. I treat all animals as members of our family.
