“Linda and Brian cared for our Rue girl for two weeks while we were out of the country. It’s impossible to put into words how much we appreciate the love and care that was extended to our baby. She made fast friends with their sweet dog, Carmi, and Linda sent daily pictures or videos showing them having so much fun together and then napping together from exhaustion. Linda made the time to meet us well in advance of caring for Rue and really listened to what Rue needed, including walks, being brushed, the ability to have her crate to sleep or take breaks in when she wanted, and following her feeding schedule. Linda allowed Rue free rein in her home, and even made time for her to relax on the lanai to people and bird watch; something she loves to do at home. Rue had an amazing time, and this allowed my husband and I to really enjoy our vacation knowing she was having the time of her life too. We wholeheartedly recommend Linda for pet sitting services. As an RN I have many skills that transfer to pets and I use those on the pets I care for as well. I'm a keen observer and problem solver. I am available to do drop-ins, extended care in your home (with light housekeeping and plant care for additional fee). I am flexible in my schedule and can do long-term (more than 7 days) care if needed. I will be present for as much or as little as your pet requires. I'm here to care for your furry, feathery, scaly and shelly friends. One Caveat: Walking Dogs who are pullers is not my forte. If you have a large or Medium dog who is used to walking and can be corrected with gentle reminders is fine. I have no schedule limitations at this time. I can be available as little or as much as you need. For short or extended care. The first thing I do is have an in-depth meeting with you about your pet's needs while you are absent. Then I develop a plan based on their typical schedule for waking, feeding, potty, walking, sleeping and medicating. I will attempt to keep as close as possible to their normal routine. I am a gentle corrector unless the behavior or situation is dangerous to them or those around them. I give lots of cuddling and rubs if they want them and respect their need for space too. If they sleep with you, they'll sleep with me. I will follow your directions for their care as closely as possible. Basically, I'll treat them as if they are mine, but love them as if I was you.

Our girl Hope can be an escape artist at times and is very active, so we have a collar for her with gps and tracking of her steps. With that being said, in the past I have not re-used some people off rover because Hope simply would not move the entire time!!! At Donnas, Hope and Zeus both ran and ran (after all I could tell). And had an absolute blast. Her yard is fenced in so no dog could get out, even our little lunatics. About: Working Wonders K9 officially began in 2024 but its roots run deep into the heart and the history of Kenna the owner. Throughout her childhood, she trained her pet dogs in obedience and could often be found learning agility and tricks with them side-by-side! As an adult, this passion lead her to train her rescue dog, Luna, as a service dog after developing an autonomic nervous system dysfunction that took away her safety and freedom. Under the guidance of a service dog trainer, she began learning the basics of training a working dog and found a calling. After apprenticing with a training company and spending much of her free time researching dog body language, training methods and training techniques, she opened Working Wonders K9 with the goal of making service dogs accessible to disabled individuals and helping pet parents train and build a strong relationship with their dogs. She offers knowledgeable pet care as well as training and support in obedience and behavior modification. I currently am attending school full time and have my own dog training business where I help clients train their pets in obedience and provide solutions to problem behaviors. During the day I have plenty of time to devote to pet care and making sure each pet gets the time and attention they deserve! I offer knowledgeable and experienced pet care in the clients home. I have a background in veterinary care and dog training and have devoted many hours to understanding dog’s body language in order to care for them better. I provide on leash walking and oversight in homes and backyards to make sure each pet is taken care of and gets the love and attention they need!

About: I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, horses, cattle, chickens, ducks, sheep, and pigs. I started showing animals at my county fair when I was 9 years old. I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life until I moved to Florida this year to live with and help take care of my grandpa. It would be a blessing to find some new animal friends to love on! I am currently working full time the at a Beach Resort as the Front Office Supervisor. My schedule is 3 PM to 11 PM so my mornings are free. If needed, I am also more than happy to swing by after my shift to walk/check on pets. I am unable to board pets at my house at this time, but I do not take going into other homes lightly.
