About: I've owned cats since I was a child, but I first started working with them in a more professional setting when I started volunteering at the Hornell Humane Society. Since 2023 I've rescued 6 cats, and have successfully found loving homes for all of them. It all started with a young grey tabby cat named Katherine, who currently lives with my mothers partner. Last summer I rescued a litter of 5 kittens, 3 boys and 2 girls. I hand raised them from 4 weeks until I found them good homes. I currently own 2 cats, 2 girls named Juniper and Olive Oil! Both were adopted from the Hornell Humane Society in late 2024.

A fun piece of my background — my mom bred Mini Aussies for six years, and I actually helped deliver and care for many of the litters. From puppies to senior dogs, I understand behavior, body language, and how to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I treat every dog like they’re part of my own pack. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because my lifestyle already revolves around my own dogs. Working from home helps a lot with this. I’m active, reliable, and organized, which allows me to provide dependable care whether that means drop-ins, walks, or extended stays. I take time to learn each dog’s personality, routines, triggers, and comfort level before care begins. In a client’s home, I respect established routines to keep pets feeling secure and stress-free. I closely supervise play, use secure leashing practices, and maintain awareness of surroundings during walks. With experience raising high-energy working breeds, I understand the importance of both physical exercise and mental stimulation to prevent anxiety or destructive behavior. I work in sales and constantly have my phone on me. I usually respond immediately unless I am in a meeting.
“Lauren was a fantastic dogsitter for Maggie (50-60 Lb German shepherd mix). She has 2 dogs about Maggie’s size that were very friendly and played well with her. She was very accommodating to pickup and drop off times, and made sure to respond to messages quickly. She provided photos and videos throughout the 7 day stay to calm our nerves about our dog, and made sure that our dog felt very at home the whole time. I will absolutely use Lauren for any future dog sitting!”

About: I fortunately have 6+ years experience working in the veterinary field and I’ve also been pet sitting for 10 years, for close friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues of mine. I can take care of special needs pets, giving oral or injectable medications and changing diapers or applying creams. I got you covered! I’m currently part-time at my job so I have ample time for play dates, walks, sleep overs, whatever your pet care needs may be! I have a large fenced in yard, treats for both dogs and cats, toys for both dogs and cats, and a medium size crate if needed I can provide for those of our furry friends who are crate trained.
