Our girl Hope can be an escape artist at times and is very active, so we have a collar for her with gps and tracking of her steps. With that being said, in the past I have not re-used some people off rover because Hope simply would not move the entire time!!! At Donnas, Hope and Zeus both ran and ran (after all I could tell). And had an absolute blast. Her yard is fenced in so no dog could get out, even our little lunatics. About: I have years of experience with dogs big and small, reptiles and pocket pets. I have a 11 month Coonhound mix that I rescued from Nate’s and I spoil him everyday. I’ve volunteered as Veterinary Assistant at the HSSC animal clinic, worked in a dog daycare and boarding facility for over a year. I have experience working with dogs with medical attention. This was my first time using Rover and I have to admit, I was very hesitant to let strangers into my house and more importantly let them be alone with my dog who is a very shy and timid rescue. I expected the worst. Boy oh boy was I wrong. Jose and Alexis were BEYOND accommodating. The first day they came over to start a walk, my dog was terrified and wouldn't approach or leave with them. Jose and Alexis were so communicative about the situation and sat at home for 90+ minutes doing everything they could to get Layla comfortable with them. It worked, above and beyond. The next 2 days, they came by and everything went very smoothly. Lots of pics, videos and communication, before, during and after their walks/runs. About: Richmond native welcoming fur babies of all shapes & sizes from Chihuahua to Pyrenees! I prefer drop in visits for large dogs and cats and if they like car rides we can go to many dog friendly places! I like to board one pet at a time, or two if they live together for safety reasons.
