“Jennifer is lovely and a very caring person for my two young Havanese. She sent us pictures throughout the day. We felt confident leaving them with her. We had a video chat first and met her in person when dropping the dogs off. She showed us around where they would be playing and introduced us to her young daughter. She and the dogs seemed to hit it off.”

“Hailey was amazing taking care of my two kitties. One of them takes medication and she did everything asked. Chaz is very weary with other people. It took a couple times and Chaz was happy to see her. She was also quick of responding to me when I wanted her to add some medication to my other cat. I’m new to this and glad I decided to go with her. I will use her in the future. She was so very nice, thank you Hailey!”

“Our first experience with Rover, and with having someone -other than family- care for our (very needy) bengal kitty. I’m happy to say, Erin was great! She made us feel completely at ease leaving her alone in our home with Desmond. Desi loved her and looked for her after she left :( She is intuitive, cares a great deal and was super communicative, sending texts regularly, which was very much appreciated. We would absolutely call on Erin any time we need a sitter!”

“My normally shy ex-feral cat was comfortable enough with Kaci to come out and visit with her every day, which says a lot! Very reliable and responsive and left great notes and photos with each visit - will definitely book again for my next trip.”
“Brooke is amazing! I had absolutely no worries while I away because I knew that Matcha was in good hands :) Brooke has been so thoughtful and attentive to Matcha’s needs as a kitten.”

“Elisa was very good with Hopi and kept him for 3 days without any other pets. He seemed very well cared for and met his needs. He was comfortable enough to sleep with them!”

About: I grew up in a house full of both dogs and cats. My mom is a retired veterinarian and from a young age, I learned how to properly read feline behavior, respect boundaries, and provide a calm and compassionate presence. I also worked as a veterinary assistant at her practice for years, where I gained hands-on experience admisntering oral medications, giving injections, and monitoring cats for signs of stress or illness. I understand that cats can require a quieter, more patient approach, and I am comfortable caring for shy, senior, or medically complex kitties. I currently have three cats of my own, so I truly understand how important routines, safety, and a low stress environment are. Whether your cat needs playtime, enrichment, medication, or simply a consistent and gentle presence while you’re away, I will treat them with the same level of care I give my own.

“This time was the first time that I had met Tallie, but I felt very comfortable with her from the very beginning. She was wonderful with my cats, showing true affection and care for them. But most of all, she went above and beyond when The hurricane threatened Sarasota and I was out of the country. She took care of my cats, and even prepared my house for the storm. She is an amazing lady and I will have her sit for my cats any time with great confidence.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life. In high school, I fostered dogs, which gave me hands-on experience with different breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. Real estate gives me a flexible, self-managed schedule, so I can easily fit pet care into my day. I’m often out and about locally, which makes drop-ins and walks convenient. I can accommodate mornings, midday visits, evenings, and weekends depending on your pet’s needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions closely to make sure your pet feels comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, and affection while also respecting your home and keeping everything clean and tidy. I’m happy to send photo and video updates so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.

I can assure you, you’re sweet pup or kitty will be treated like the prince or princess they are and get lots of love and walks! I am currently a stay at home mom to one baby girl, so I have plenty of time to provide Rover services to meet you and your fur baby’s needs. Additionally, much of my day revolves around giving my own pups all the activity and love they deserve and will be sure to give that to yours as well! Before booking a service with me, I am always happy to meet in person first and make sure I am a good match for your fur baby. If I am providing services in your home, my goal is to make your fur babies as comfortable as possible and give them as much love and attention as they deserve while their parent is away. I will happily follow your typical routine you have set for them while you are away!
About: I have always had a dog in my life since I was born but my caretaking journey started when a little corgi entered into my world. She was an escape artist, food fiend, she couldn’t be left for too long and she battled anxiety her whole life, but she brought me the most joy. She taught me attentiveness, and limitless love. She recently crossed the rainbow bridge so I have been missing the presence of my fury friend but am excited to hang out with doggies again!!! Skills include: puppy care, senior care, special needs. This summer I will be in a production at the Asolo Repertory Theatre but before that I am looking to spend as much time with pups as I can. During the school year, I am a grad student and my weekends are usually free. I have class 9-5:30pm tue-fri. Mondays are always free. I appreciate a list of instructions specifically stating your pets schedule and needs. The more detailed the better:) I love to take videos and pictures to keep you updated through the process. I know how important it is to have peace of mind when leaving your baby with a stranger.
“Dariana did a great job walking my dog over the weekend while I was at work. My dog loved her and got the exercise she needed and I felt confident in the care she received the whole time!”

About: I’ve taken care of my dogs and cats since I was 15. I am able to walk, feed, bathe, and play with tour loved ones! I have never had any issues with my animals nor my friends animals either! Your animals will always have a fun time getting to play with me and constantly entertained. Due to being in healthcare, my schedule is different every week but I’m usually free at least 4 days a week, but you can find available days on my calender. But, I also work night shift so I am able to have some additional flexibility on shift days, especially in the morning! I live near a dog park and have a large neighborhood for long walks. I currently live in an apartment complex with a dog park and there is plenty of space around the complex to spend time and let energy out. My boyfriend is also home with me every third day due to his rotating paramedic schedule but he has cared for his two family dogs most his life and thoroughly enjoys spending time with animals.
About: I take the time to bond with each dog, earning their trust and making them feel safe, loved and understood. I adapt my approach to each dog’s personality, energy level and needs, whether it’s a playful pup who needs exercise or a senior dog who just wants gentle companionship. I’m currently working part-time as a realtor so I have a flexible schedule and can work around my clients schedules and needs as directed with notice. I live in a condo with two kittens so I will most likely be sitting at the client’s home. I will care for the pets as directed by the client, providing them photos and details of my time with their pets.
About: I’ve worked professionally and personally with dogs of all sizes. I grew up with 2 large dogs and have cared for chickens, cats, dogs, horses, and more as a pet sitter! I adore animals of all types, and I would love to help out with your furry family members! I work 8 hours Monday-Friday, but I am able to take an hour lunch break on weekdays. My weekends are free, and my schedule is flexible, so I’m happy to figure out what works best for you and your pet! I live in an apartment with no other animals. The apartment is in a gated community and has lots of room to go for walks. There is an unfenced yard outside and plenty of safe sidewalks for walks. I also have a car (and lots of experience driving around my lab, Tucker), so I’m more than happy to take your pets to parks or trails for some outdoor time. I also have experience house sitting. I respect your privacy and clean up after myself and your pets, so you can rest assured you’ll come home to a house in order.
About: Richmond native welcoming fur babies of all shapes & sizes from Chihuahua to Pyrenees! I prefer drop in visits for large dogs and cats and if they like car rides we can go to many dog friendly places! I like to board one pet at a time, or two if they live together for safety reasons. Note: Meet and greets for new clients before booking is required, thanks! I have a part time and available after 3pm to assist. I am available holidays, weekends, and most evenings. Excited to accommodate the needs of your fur babies while you are away! Able to follow all medical guidelines received from pet owners, if any. Certified in pet First Aid/CPR. I have experience giving medications to dogs and cats. Keeping your fur babies hydrated and comfortable while you are away is number one on my list! Crates (fur baby beds) are required for high energy pets. We will go on walks 2-4 times a day. 🐕🦺🚶♀️
About: I hold such importance for animals in my heart. They are so pure, and so easy to care for and be kind to. Honestly my favorite living things on earth. I’ve owned dogs and cats my entire life, and I find that paying attention and giving them lots of love is all they need to be their happiest. I don’t have a fenced in yard, but I am good with leashes (even bigger dogs) as long as they are provided. I live in a large home with plenty of space for the animals to play and relax in.

“Stephany did a fantastic job taking care of our cat, Tom. Daily updates, with photos, were sent. Tom acclimated very well. I would highly recommend you board your cat or dog with Spephany! Thanks again!”

“Terrific care and love generatedfrom Tracy to Millie. Plays ball and takes walks with Millie on a daily basis. She asked for permission to take for car rides and trips, that Millie thoroughly enjoys, and I enthusiastically approved. She relieved the apprehension I had about leaving, enabling me to enjoy my vacation.”

“Kendal and Dre are amazing! River loves to visit and has the very best time! It makes leaving her that much easier when we know she is so well cared for!”

“My dog stayed with Karlee for 4 nights recently and he had such a great time! She brought him on multiple adventures including the beach and made sure to send many pics and update me daily. I would highly recommend Karlee for dog watching and sitting!”

“Sierra is excellent. She's professional and accommodating. She loves animals and will take great care of your pet. We highly recommend her and would definitely use her again in the future!”
“Katerina was fantastic; she was always responsive, professional and accommodating. Her son was also very lovely and took great care to make sure Finn was happy and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend Katerina, and I look forward to booking her again in the future!”
“Nicholas was so awesome with my skittish girl. She takes a while to warm up to people but he didn’t give up and gained her trust quickly on our weekend away. He shared so many photos and videos to keep our minds at ease. Great sitter!!!!”

“Audrey and Karson were awesome! They took such great care of our pup while we were away and made sure to send pictures and updates. We would be more than happy to have Boomer stay with them again!!”

“Cindey and Steve took amazing care of my dog Lulu. From the moment I left her with them, I felt completely comfortable knowing she was in good hands. They kept me updated the whole time with messages and photos, which meant a lot to me and gave me real peace of mind. It’s clear they truly care about the dogs they watch and treat them like their own. Lulu looked happy, relaxed, and well cared for the entire time. I’m very grateful for the care they gave her and I would absolutely trust them with Lulu again in the future. Highly recommended.”

“Lori is amazing! Our dog was so nervous and scared coming to a new place. Lori took her time to get to know our dog and it didn’t take very long before our dog was enjoying Lori’s home and hanging with another furry friend. Thank you Lori!”
“Deborah did a fantastic job! She communicated to advise if all was going well. Was very professional and in my opinion, is an expert in dog sitting. She has several dogs and is well equipped to manage a dog. Was pleasantly surprised how easy the process was and how my Lola enjoyed the stay. Great experience and will definitely use her service again!!”

“Without a doubt, the best pet sitter I've had in my life. A true gem. Her communications are timely and clear. If I could higher rating i would but there wouldn't be enough room on the rating sheet to hold all the stars she's earned..”

“Leslie watched our sweet Remi girl who was only 13 weeks old. She hadn’t had all of her shots yet, so we were nervous to board her publicly. Taking her to Leslie, she was able to socialize with not just her two dogs but with tortoises, a parrot, and chickens! Our puppy also discovered that she loves swimming Leslie allowed her to swim in their pool. It felt like Remi was welcomed into a family and not boarded up all weekend! Thank you Leslie!”

“Excellent boarding experience. Marlena was great with my dog who can be a bit much for some. Her stay was over Christmas and Marlena sent me plenty of videos and photos of my baby dressed in sweaters and hats opening presents. 10/10 would book again.”

About: I’ve had dogs for many years and have plenty of experience caring for different personalities, sizes and energy levels. Friends and family have trusted me to look after their pets over the years, and I truly enjoy creating a calm, safe and loving environment for them. I’m patient, attentive and responsible, and I understand how important routines, affection and supervision are for a dog’s well-being. I only take a limited number of dogs at a time so each pet receives personalized care and attention during their stay. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, supervision and companionship throughout the day. I’m home most of the time and enjoy maintaining a calm and structured environment with regular walks, playtime and rest. I only take a limited number of dogs at a time so I can focus on each pet individually and make sure they feel comfortable, safe and well cared for during their stay. Your dog’s safety and comfort are very important to me. I provide a clean, calm and secure home environment and always supervise interactions carefully. I follow each dog’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks and any special instructions from the owner. I prefer caring for well-behaved adult dogs and only accept a small number of pets at a time to ensure personalized attention and a low-stress environment for everyone.
“They took very good care of our two dogs. We were kept updated on how they were doing. The fenced in backyard was great for the dogs as they normally don’t get to run around. Definitely will rebook for future times.”
