“I cannot say enough great things about Francis! She watched my senior dog, Madi, for a week while I was on vacation. Just before I dropped her off, Madi had been scratching and developed an issue with her eye pressure and had to start eye drops. Francis welcomed her with open arms. A few days into her stay, Madi needed a follow-up vet visit, and Francis took her in and handled everything—including her meds and eye drops—with so much care and attention. Madi is also on heart meds and requires extra support, and Francis went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and well looked after. She sent me daily updates and photos of her relaxing on the couch or exploring her big backyard, which gave me so much peace of mind. I knew Madi was in loving, capable hands. Francis is kind, thoughtful, and clearly has a huge heart for animals—she had a senior dog herself so she understands. I wouldn’t hesitate to have Madi stay with Francis again. “Leslie was a fantastic dog sitter for my 12 pound, 13 year old Malti-Poo! She went above and beyond with him as he is an older dog and needed medications given which she did willingly. She communicated with me quickly and often and sent pictures each evening of my sweet Buddy as he relaxed and played and this level of communication made me feel great about leaving Buddy with a sitter for the first time in his life. In fact, she took such great care of Buddy that he almost didn't want to leave and come home to South Carolina with me. He needs a close eye on him since he hasn't fully grasped certain commands to keep him safe (like "drop it" or "wait"), and I wasn't worried at all about his safety while he stayed at their home. About: I have always had a dog in my life since I was born but my caretaking journey started when a little corgi entered into my world. She was an escape artist, food fiend, she couldn’t be left for too long and she battled anxiety her whole life, but she brought me the most joy. She taught me attentiveness, and limitless love. She recently crossed the rainbow bridge so I have been missing the presence of my fury friend but am excited to hang out with doggies again!!! Skills include: puppy care, senior care, special needs. This summer I will be in a production at the Asolo Repertory Theatre but before that I am looking to spend as much time with pups as I can. During the school year, I am a grad student and my weekends are usually free. I have class 9-5:30pm tue-fri. Mondays are always free. I appreciate a list of instructions specifically stating your pets schedule and needs. The more detailed the better:) I love to take videos and pictures to keep you updated through the process. About: Hello, I am an experienced veterinary technician of 7 years+ I recently have done physical therapy for pets so I am now experienced with paraplegic pets and wheelchairs as well. I’ve had animals all my life and I love them more than anything in this world. I have open availability for overnight care, walking etc.. Friday-Sunday. If needed I would be able to do brief stop ins, between 1:30-3 and after 5:30pm I cannot have pets in my home unfortunately. I will be happy and able to Take care of an animal in their own home as I feel they are more comfortable and less stressed at home anyways. Any amount of physical play needed with a high energy dog can be done.

About: Hello, I am an experienced veterinary technician of 7 years+ I recently have done physical therapy for pets so I am now experienced with paraplegic pets and wheelchairs as well. I’ve had animals all my life and I love them more than anything in this world. I have open availability for overnight care, walking etc.. Friday-Sunday. If needed I would be able to do brief stop ins, between 1:30-3 and after 5:30pm I cannot have pets in my home unfortunately. I will be happy and able to Take care of an animal in their own home as I feel they are more comfortable and less stressed at home anyways. This was my first time using Rover and I have to admit, I was very hesitant to let strangers into my house and more importantly let them be alone with my dog who is a very shy and timid rescue. I expected the worst. Boy oh boy was I wrong. Jose and Alexis were BEYOND accommodating. The first day they came over to start a walk, my dog was terrified and wouldn't approach or leave with them. Jose and Alexis were so communicative about the situation and sat at home for 90+ minutes doing everything they could to get Layla comfortable with them. It worked, above and beyond. The next 2 days, they came by and everything went very smoothly. Lots of pics, videos and communication, before, during and after their walks/runs. It's hard to articulate how great this experience was and we will be enlisting Jose and Alexis' services moving forward for any and all things pet care related.
