About: Hi there! Being an owner of 3 cats myself I know how hard and scary it can be to find a person to look after your precious kitties. I have grown up with cats since I was 11 years old and when I moved into an apartment on my own I immediately got myself a kitten to keep me company. My cats mean the world to me so I know exactly how tricky it can be to leave them while going out of town. I currently work full time as a veterinary technician so I know what signs to watch for in stressed/sick cats. I am able to medicate both orally or with injectables (such as insulin) if needed. While cats are mostly independent creatures I still believe it is extremely important to give them love and attention on a daily basis. Secondly, I think its important to make sure water is fresh and food is provided on a schedule or in my case the cat food bowl is always full (I let my cat eat whenever she is hungry and she is very healthy). Lastly and most importantly no matter what animal it is they need play time and attention weather it be a walk or a playing fetch at the park or playing with your cats favorite wand toy. “Leslie watched our sweet Remi girl who was only 13 weeks old. She hadn’t had all of her shots yet, so we were nervous to board her publicly. Taking her to Leslie, she was able to socialize with not just her two dogs but with tortoises, a parrot, and chickens!
