We had to make last-minute arrangements for our senior dog, Lola, while we were vacationing in Sanibel after discovering that our condo no longer allowed pets. Lola is highly anxious, and leaving her is always stressful for us, so finding someone we could trust was incredibly important. From the very beginning, communication was exceptional. We received daily updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind and allowed us to truly enjoy our vacation knowing Lola was in great hands. Not only did she take excellent care of Lola, but she also graciously allowed us to visit and take Lola for walks during the week. She made sure Lola got plenty of exercise, socialization with other dogs, and lots of love and attention. It was clear that she genuinely cared for her. The biggest testament to the care she provided came on the last day. As we drove away, Lola actually watched her new friend leave and whined for her—a reaction we've never seen before. That told us everything we needed to know about the bond they had formed. If we ever return to Sanibel, she will be our first call. About: All I've ever known since childhood was dogs, they've been a constant part of my time here on earth and helped to foster my love for all animals. Throughout my life I've always helped take care of family members pets as well as my friend's pets and it has always been a source of joy. Over the years I've cared for a variety of animals spanning different amounts of time. Be it my Uncle's dog for a weekend or a family friend's house, dog, cat, 6 chickens, and 4 ducks for a couple months I can help accommodate any need you may have and I can't wait to meet your fur baby! About: My first experience with cats was when I went to visit my aunt in Colorado. When I got to her house one of the first things I saw were her to cars chasing each other around. Ever since meet her "Baby Kittens" (they're fully grown of course) I've loved cats ever since. While not having ever owned one myself I gained a fair bit of experience when I house sat for a couple months and watched the owner's cat as well as their plethora of other animals. About: It is my priority to make each pet feel as comfortable and as happy as possible when they are in my care. I believe animals have feelings and emotions just as much as people do. My heart melts when it comes to animals, especially dogs. I have rescued many animals over the past few years (well they found me) and worked hard to find them good homes. Hi there, As a mom, wife and recent college graduate student, I know how difficult it can be sometimes to get away and take time for oneself, marriage, chores, or even a nap. Ahhh naps. Yes! We love those here all snuggled up with our 2 german shepherds and visiting fur babies, especially after a visit to a nearby park, or splashing around in the doggy baby pool. Frisbee anyone? No? How about a game of fetch. Zeus, our uncut male is a trained service dog and Stella, our uncut long-haired shepherd likes to cuddle and give lots of kisses. Careful though, she'll sneak a big wet sloppy kiss on you when you're snoozing. Stella is currently being trained. We have a large unfenced yard with a 70-foot long aerial tether between trees. This offers security, convenience and free play for pups of all ages still learning to stay close by. I have dog training experience as well as being able to administer medications, and bathing your babies upon request. We also like to visit dog beaches and parks close by with your approval. Able to service Fort Myers, primarily the Iona, health park, college pkwy, and Fort Myers beach region but willing to travel for a fee. Fort Myers, Cape Coral can all be arranged. Walks around the park are typically at 9pm & 4am due to daytime heat. Long term stewardship is optional based on proximity and contract. All boarding will require a boarding crate for safety reasons. Im friendly with a great work ethic and even have some training and knowledge with a variety of household pets. I am able to care for others fur babies while my 3 children are in school from the hours of 8-2. I can also be pretty flexible. I have some dog training knowledge, as well as a decent amount of knowledge on a variety of animals, and im also bilingual speaking English and Spanish.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, not just pets, but family. I grew up around dogs, volunteered with the Humane Society throughout college, and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I also have experience with senior dogs and dogs needing extra medical care. One of my huskies developed diabetes and eventually went blind, so I became very comfortable administering medications and injections, following strict routines, and giving patient, loving care. I lost my sweet Shih Tzu after 17 amazing years together, and now I have two spoiled pups of my own, Gracie and Lily. I truly understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I treat every animal like they are my own. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just calm companionship, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule and am available most weekends, with weekday availability on many days as well. I’m happy to work with pet parents whenever possible and always do my best to accommodate schedules, routines, and special care needs. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets are treated like family. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, medications, energy levels, and personalities so each pet feels comfortable and cared for. I live in a very dog-friendly area in Fort Myers with plenty of space for walks, playtime, and exercise. About: I have taken care of/walked dogs since I was 7. I’ve grown up with dogs and have never lived without one in my home. Many neighbors and friends trust me with their pets to either walk or care for them from either a day at a time or weeks. During the week I have sports and school but weekends are reserved to make sure the care of your pet(s) is received properly and carefully I am more than happy to play with any pet to ensure he/she is happy and healthy while I care for them. If you have special requests, I can make it a priority to fulfill them.

We had to make last-minute arrangements for our senior dog, Lola, while we were vacationing in Sanibel after discovering that our condo no longer allowed pets. Lola is highly anxious, and leaving her is always stressful for us, so finding someone we could trust was incredibly important. From the very beginning, communication was exceptional. We received daily updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind and allowed us to truly enjoy our vacation knowing Lola was in great hands. Not only did she take excellent care of Lola, but she also graciously allowed us to visit and take Lola for walks during the week. She made sure Lola got plenty of exercise, socialization with other dogs, and lots of love and attention. It was clear that she genuinely cared for her. The biggest testament to the care she provided came on the last day. As we drove away, Lola actually watched her new friend leave and whined for her—a reaction we've never seen before. That told us everything we needed to know about the bond they had formed. If we ever return to Sanibel, she will be our first call. About: All I've ever known since childhood was dogs, they've been a constant part of my time here on earth and helped to foster my love for all animals. Throughout my life I've always helped take care of family members pets as well as my friend's pets and it has always been a source of joy. Over the years I've cared for a variety of animals spanning different amounts of time. Be it my Uncle's dog for a weekend or a family friend's house, dog, cat, 6 chickens, and 4 ducks for a couple months I can help accommodate any need you may have and I can't wait to meet your fur baby! I'm currently back from college and am working part time. I'll have more than enough free time to accommodate your busy schedule and meet whatever needs you and your pets may have! I have a fenced yard, a pool, and a very sweet little dog who loves company. With a very spacious car and a personal fondness for hiking I can take your pet on nature excursions or to vet appointments. If needed, I can easily separate pets for feeding or quiet time to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable in their own space.

My dog (Ollie) is very particular and a bit high maintenance, but Xiao knew exactly knew what to do since she has her own dogs and taken care of dog all her life. Xiao has 3 dogs of her own, you can tell that she treats them well and will treat your dog like her own. Something came up during my trip and I had to reschedule my pickup time, and Xiao was more than accommodating.
