She was very thorough with her questions when she came to visit, and the other great reviews on her page gave me lots of confidence for working with her. I usually hire my friends, some of whom have never watched a cat before and do an okay job, so hiring Amanda was very refreshing and money well spent. She left very thorough rover cards after each visit with many pictures. One thing that really stood out to me was how careful she was when opening/closing/locking the door. My biggest fear is my cat getting outside (even though it has never happened), and I have a camera on my door. I could see her carefully scanning the area by the door when opening/closing it, and she also jiggled the door handle after locking to ensure that it was secure. In the past, I've had to remind my friends to do that and leave notes for them by the door, but Amanda made sure to do it unprompted, so that really demonstrated how responsible and serious she is about her job.”

I love giving furry friends my undivided attention through many walks/outdoor activities and cuddles! I currently work from home full-time, giving me plenty of time to care for your pet. I go on walks regularly throughout my day and if I leave my home, I always return within 2 hours. Your fur baby will rarely be left alone. I recently adopted Kira, a German Shepard mix (about 35lbs), who does great with other dogs. My goal is to make every pet feel at home while giving owners complete peace of mind. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I care for both dogs and cats, and I treat every furry guest like a member of my own family. For dogs staying in my home, I provide frequent, structured potty breaks and exercise throughout the day. Since I don’t have a fenced backyard, dogs are taken on regular walks every 2–3 hours and again about 40 minutes after meals to keep them comfortable, active, and on a healthy routine. My home has an open-concept layout, and all pets remain safely on the downstairs level with a baby gate blocking access to the stairs, creating a secure environment where they can relax and play under supervision. For cats, I provide a calm, low-stress environment that respects their unique personalities and routines. Whether they’re playful or prefer their own space, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving them the attention they need on their terms. For dog walks and drop-in visits, I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, playtime, and any special instructions. My goal is for you to return home to a happy, relaxed pet—and to have complete peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I have been around animals my whole life. Growing up, we mainly had cats and dogs, but in recent years we have expanded to fish, birds, and frogs! At the moment, my family has 2 cats, 2 parakeets, and about a million fish. I started pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors as a kid, and now I try to pet sit whenever I am home from college. I am also the primary care taker of my little home zoo. I’m currently home for the summer, and I have really flexible hours! I have several vacations planned for the summer, so I do not currently have a job lined up, which means more time to play with your pets! I am currently not able to care for your pets in my home as my cats are not very accepting of new animals. At your home, I will work with you to learn what is best for your pets! If you have a fenced in yard, that’s great! If not, no worries.
About: Grew up with dogs my whole life. We always had yorkies in the house. Boxers in the family, pitbulls. My mom worked at a pet store and animal clinic; she was always bringing animals home. I currently volunteer at the Human Society; I walk dogs, feed the puppies, and pick up poo. I'm a part time student and study online from home. I am an animal lover but have not yet made the commitment to adopt my own. If caring for yours, they will be the star. I provide care in my clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable and relaxed in their familiar environment. I follow each pets normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, or special instructions and plenty of attention and affection. I’m attentive to each pets, individual personality and needs whether they’re energetic and playful or prefer a calmer approach.
