About: I have taken care of cats of all temperaments when I worked at a shelter. Some cats have a hard time with new people and that’s ok. I am very patient and respectful of their space and usually they let me do what I need to do. I also currently have a cat of my own who was formerly a stray and has some health issues so I have experience giving oral medication and eyedrops. I also feed a few stray cats in my area and they have come to accept my presence even though they’re pretty feral. Overall, I have experience with all kinds of cats and usually the answer is plenty of patience and they will at least accept my presence.

At this time, boarding is available only to dogs who already have an established walking, drop-in, or daycare relationship with me. This helps ensure your dog is already comfortable with me, my home, my routine, and my resident pets before an overnight stay. If a boarding stay must be ended for safety reasons, care may be converted to drop-in visits at your home for feeding, potty breaks, and companionship whenever possible. 🚗 Premium pick-up and drop-off For added convenience, I offer pet transportation as an optional add-on. I can personally pick up or return your dog along my existing daily route, allowing you to leave your dog comfortably at home without coordinating an in-person handoff. If a pet displays aggression, extreme fear, severe anxiety, or behavior that makes a visit unsafe, I will still make every reasonable effort to ensure their essential needs are met, including food, water, medication when safely possible, and potty access. However, I may modify or shorten the visit if continuing would increase stress or create a risk of injury. This is never done as punishment. It is a safety decision intended to prevent escalation and protect everyone involved. Any significant concerns will be clearly documented and communicated to you. 🛏️ Crate or confinement requirement for boarding For boarding stays, dogs must be comfortable resting safely in a crate, exercise pen, gated room, or behind another secure household barrier. This is a firm boarding requirement. At night, during meals when separation is needed, and anytime dogs cannot be directly supervised, boarding guests will be safely confined. This gives every animal appropriate space to rest and ensures all pets remain secure while I am sleeping, showering, completing household tasks, or briefly away from home. Crates and gated spaces are always used as calm, neutral resting areas, never as punishment. If your dog normally uses a crate, pen, gated room, or another confinement routine at home, please share the details with me so I can keep their stay as familiar and low-stress as possible. Dogs do not need to love being crated, but they must be able to tolerate safe confinement without panicking, attempting to escape, or injuring themselves. If your dog is not currently comfortable with any form of secure separation, boarding may not be the right fit at this time. In that case, drop-in care in their own home may be a safer and more comfortable alternative. This is non-negotiable.

About: I was taught to meet the emotional needs of pets in my care, nurturing who they are. My dad trained dogs on our property; I learned to move in a way they understand. Because I work from home, I am able to be very attentive. Our yard is fully fenced; five responsible adults live here with us. A quick pandemic story: We had a Chihuahua-Papillon mix named Jacques Cousteau. One night home alone, I saw how much strain he had when eating his crunchy food. About: I have had and taken care of dogs of all age ranges over the years. I used to foster and take in rescues, so I’m used to all types of doggie personalities, sizes and ages. My dogs are like my children, and I will treat yours with the same love and care as my own. I am experienced with smaller and bigger dogs, and am adaptable to whatever their routine and needs may be! I want you to feel comfortable, knowing your babies are being taken care of while you’re at work or away. I usually work Thursday through Saturday, but sometimes that changes. Even if I have something planned on a day off, it’s something I can usually work around a walk or drop in easily. I live in a home where my fur babies have a fenced in area, as well as a free roam area. Im okay walking your pup or letting them out into a fenced area, whichever you prefer. My pups are crate trained so I am happy to make sure yours is safe and secured in theirs before I leave if that’s something that you use for their safety. Each pet is different, so I will look to your instructions for specifics on how to handle your fur baby and make the visit most enjoyable for them.

About: I have a flexible schedule! I am willing to work with you to give your dog the best care possible and make life easier for you! Dogs are welcome on furniture for cuddles and comfort. There is plenty of space inside for them to roam AND a patio/backyard area for fresh air. There is also a dog park in the neighborhood for your dog to play with other dogs if you want him/her dog to socialize. Exercising a dog isn’t always important! I have experience training dogs. I have been assisting in training future guide dogs for the past 3 years. I would love to take in your cute pups even if they are not potty trained; I have experience and am willing to help potty train or any other forms of training you would like your pup to continue while you are away. About: I not only grew up around dogs, but I’ve worked in animal shelters and a pet resort, where I was responsible for the needs of dogs and cats. I earned 44 hours of volunteer work at the Humane Society in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., where I gave tours to potential dog owners. I worked at Pet Suites and LifeLine, where I ensured all pets received their food and/or medicine in a timely manner. I have fostered dogs for Angels Among Us and found homes for all of them. I also take an interest in dog training. I’m not a licensed trainer, but I enjoy teaching dogs manners and tricks. I have availability on Friday-Sunday. I’m very organized and plan my schedule carefully to ensure every pet receives the time, care, and consistency they deserve. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with other dog neighbors.
