Their back yard is spacious for active dogs and they are never alone. Luna is very anxious and they knew how to deal with her with lots of care. I work at a dog boarding kennel currently and have worked at the animal shelter where I cared for all of the strays and helped them try to find new homes and reunited lost pets with their families! I don’t feel a family is complete without a pet as I have always had one (or more)! They are family 💖 I work at a boarding kennel part time and am able to care for pets mornings before work for potty break and evenings after work for potty breaks and play time. Morning potty breaks and evening potty breaks and play time on my days off I ask for owners to have written instructions for the specific care for each pet so that I may make sure their pet/pets are taken care of as if their owners had never left! About: I’ve had dogs off and on since I was about 12 with all sorts of personalities due to fostering. I currently have 2 Australian Sheppards, 8 chickens and 4 cows. I work from home so I am available for many dogs needs. I am used to high energy dogs and one of my Aussies loves to play and run and run some more, so if you have an active dog they will be worn out when you get them home. I also have an older small dog in my family that is blind and deaf so I am used to that as well. I work from home and am available to take out your dogs for breaks quite a lot. I am available 24/7 unless I already have been booked. I have a large fenced in pasture that will be used for the dogs to run around and play in, my personal dogs are high energy so I can promise that most dogs will be worn out when they get home. I am also training for a half marathon in the fall so I welcome walking dogs too.

They responded almost instantly. Amazing communications and very responsive. The facility is incredible. Very clean. Sheltered. A double perimeter fence. Motion activated spot lights. Our dogs were secure and we felt very comfortable leaving them there for the day. We received updates and photos throughout the day which made us happy to know our dogs were visibly relaxed and comfortable in a new environment. When we picked them up the dogs were clearly happy, tired, relaxed, and definitely appeared to be smiling! We would not hesitate to use Chris and their spouse again. Amazing people. While boarded, each dog has their own space to sleep, eat, and otherwise relax without being bothered by other dogs in the home. This can be a crate or puppy pen depending on what is the best fit for the dog. This is also where the dogs stay while I am out of the house to prevent any incidents between dogs. During the day, the dogs have the opportunity to spend their time inside or outside. There are plenty of toys and beds inside for some playing or relaxing. Outside, they have a fenced-in acre to run, explore, and roughhouse. The dog-friendly pool will be ready for use in April 2026. It has a 8x16ft sun shelf to allow for lounging in shallow water and a ramp for easy access in and out of the deep end. It is screened in to prevent anyone from slipping in unnoticed. For days that don’t allow for much exercise outside, I have treadmills to burn energy for dogs that are comfortable with them and plenty of puzzle feeders to keep their minds busy.

Our dog absolutely LOVED her which we were relieved about because he’s not socialized very well due to Covid. She arrived promptly at the agreed upon time twice a day and gave him a big walk so he could do his business and get some exercise. About: I’ve been volunteering at animal rehab facilities since I was 10 and I’ve worked my way up to wildlife internships in the amazon rainforest just last year, so I have plenty of experience with animals from household pets to less common exotics ! Household pets I have most experience in are Cats, Dogs, Small mammals and Reptiles and I’m well educated in proper cleaning, meal preparation and grooming. I have a fenced in yard and screened porch and I only let my cat roam leashed under close supervision so that he doesn’t get into anything and I didn’t notice. I Always ask what the owner is comfortable with whether it’s crating or going on walks around the yard prior but I also understand some pets need more attention than others and that’s okay! I never have anything toxic in reach and keep my house stocked with plenty of toys and treats to keep your pet happy and healthy.
About: I have had dogs most of my life and volunteered at a large shelter back in St. Louis for more than 10 yrs. I walked dogs, took them on enrichment trips, fostered them and helped at the shelter by just cleaning and doing laundry. I loved all the different dog personalities and tried to do anything that would make their life better. I would love to take care of dogs now that I'm retired and will also be volunteering at the local shelter here I'm retired and my dog recently passed so I'm craving dog time. Me and my family did hospice and behavioral cases so I am very experienced with calm dogs, psycho dogs, dogs with various health issues, dogs other people would typically turn down. You have a dog with medications or a strict list of to dos? Not a problem I got them covered! I’ve taken care of dogs,cats,horses,donkeys,birds,fish,rats,Guinea pigs ect so if you got more then just the typical furry friends I got you covered there to! I work in the hospital 3 12s over nights so I’m pretty flexible. Even in my daily life I take care of barn animals and my own so I can add your furry friends to the mix! I know everyone sees their fur babies as family and have the worries of a fur parent. So however you want your babies cared for just let me know! “Sommer and Garrett were absolutely great! They are a beautiful family that love and understand dogs. Their kids help out so much our pups had plenty of attention, cuddles and play time. Their back yard is spacious for active dogs and they are never alone. Luna is very anxious and they knew how to deal with her with lots of care. I was a bit worried because Luna and Moka sleep with me, but there was no issues… they cuddled with them and slept all night.
