“I booked Lynn with little notice so my girls and I could take a quick trip before I needed to return to my classroom for the school year. Although, she prefers a weeks notice, which I understand, I appreciate that she was very quick to respond and was willing to help me out. This was my first time using rover and I was so pleased and put at ease the second I met Lynn! Not only is her home spotless, she is warm, quick to communicate, transparent, and makes you feel comfortable from the minute she greets you and your fur baby! She is also very knowledgeable since she used to breed huskies and has a lot of experience with many different breeds. So she had a lot of helpful tips that she was willing to share with me from her experience! My dog, Daisy, seemed very comfortable with her and seemed right at home. I love that she only takes one dog at a time and so she can give your fur baby her full attention. I also appreciated that she sent me updates and pictures. About: I've taken care of animals since I was younger. We've had quite a few different types of animals from bunnies and hamsters to cats and dogs. It fits easily into my routine because I'm home all the time. I don't go anywhere really and I have plenty of free time to spare. About: I have had pets almost my entire life from dogs, cats, birds, and hamsters. I have not had reptiles of my own but like them too. Animals are a life commitment and I have seen many throughout their entire life including senior and end of life care. I genuinely love animals. They are part of our family. Yours will be cared for as if they are a member of my family. Currently, Maverick, a black lab is my soulmate. He is well-trained, intelligent, full of joy and great with other dogs. His favorite pastime is playing ball or just running around the yard with a ball in his mouth. He enjoys going for rides and adventures such as going to the park or beach. He loves to swim and play in the water. I am retired and available anytime, night or day. I am also on call for emergency situations as well, allowing same day bookings. I truly understand the importance of taking care of our special family members and there are times when circumstances are beyond our control. I am not available for boarding or house sitting because I have Maverick. If you are looking for boarding or overnight care, please consider scheduling multiple drop-in visits for times that fit their routine or we can discuss other alternatives to ensure your babies needs are met. My home is obviously dog friendly and the yard is secure. Maverick is mostly indoors due to the heat. About: I love animals ever since I was young age, especially how difference their personalities are! They have their own needs and wants which something I’m willing to learn no matter the size. About: Starting at age 9 I raised pigs on my grandpas farm and showed them in the fair. I then decided to become vegan at age 13 after realizing the brutal way animals were treated. Last year I enrolled as a foster parent for the local animal shelter. I fostered a sweet, active pit bull named Rebel for two months. Then I fostered a few kittens. We appreciate that her home could accommodate both of their preferences. We received updates, including pictures and videos, which was reassuring while we were away. I focus on clear communication with the owner regarding feeding schedules, favorite walking routes, and any 'house rules.' I treat every home with the utmost respect and ensure the dog feels safe and companionship-focused while their owner is away. During walks and care: I don’t just 'walk' the dog; I engage with them.
