Highly-rated overnight sitters - Meridian
“They took very good care of my dog! They sent me many videos/pictures of my dog! I felt very safe with leaving my dog there! I would definitely rebook if I could!”

“Diana was incredibly personable and reassuring as this was our first time leaving Cooper at another home. Even though it was just an overnight stay she still managed to send three pictures and updates during his time with her so we could see he was doing just fine!”

“Sarah is amazing! She has taken Kaiser in twice now while we’ve been out of town and he has such a good time and well taken cared of. She consistently provides updates and pictures which is really nice too. I would highly recommend Sarah for watching your pup!”

“Robert was fantastic with my pups. I had concerns about my 14 year old boy with weak hips but he did so well with Robert taking care of him. Robert sent me pictures every day and gave me daily reports that gave me peace of mind while I was away. I recommend Robert for an excellent boarding experience.”

“This was my first experience with Rover. We had a last minute opportunity to leave town for the weekend and unfortunately at a hotel and venue that were not pet friendly. Contacted Reymun on Thursday and he was able to take Sophie on Friday! We'd previously put her in a kennel once and it was clearly very stressful for her. While Reymun said he was open for long walks he also said he was cool with sitting on the couch watching TV. Sophie is older and sleeping through movies is her favorite pastime! We picked her up on Sunday relaxed and comfortable. Would recommend Reymun and if needed, I will contact him again!”

“I am a new dog mom. And this was my first time leaving my pup. I absolutely loved how much zeus enjoyed being at Judith's. I was updated with many pictures and videos. She was like a second mom to him lol. Definitely will use her in the future.”

“Ainla is such a sweet person. From the minute our family met her we felt comfortable and knew she was the right pet sitter. During our pups stay Ainla sent pictures and sent updates to us. We did not worry at all. She answered all our questions and really went above and beyond. I would recommend her to anyone and we will call her again.”
“I completely trust Madelyn to care for my dog Charlie. He loves her family and their dog Penny! Madelyn is great to communicate with and easy going. She kept me updated during Charlie’s stay and shared photos which allowed us to enjoy our trip with full confidence that our dog was well taken care of.”

“Franceska and Daniel are the very best! Apollo has a great time every time he goes over. He and Atlas have so much fun. We feel so safe having our boy in there care and he can’t wait to go back!!”

“Grachel was very friendly and extremely reliable! I was super comfortable leaving Bella because of her knowledge and experience in caring for dogs. I'm pleased to say that Grachel treated my fur baby like her own and I have no doubt that she treats all her stays the same. Plus Grachel has the sweetest dog Lucy who got along well with Bella and kept her company during her stay, so she wasn't to lonely. I'll be using her services again in the future.”

“Andrea took such good care of Forrest! She is so sweet and attentive. I especially alpreciated that she kept me updated all weekend with photos and videos. You can tell her love for animals. Will be rebooking!”

“Mimi was the best choice for our fur babies. They immediately fell in love with her and she treated them as her own. I would 100% recommend her for any cat sitting inquiries. She always kept us posted with how they were doing and sent us loads of super cute photos of them. The cats were very happy to be under her care. Thank you so much!!!”

“Shelby is an excellent caretaker! She goes above and beyond to help out without being asked by bringing in packages and moving my plants inside to protect them from freezing during unexpected cold temperatures. I so appreciate Shelby’s feeding support for my feline family and all the extra’s she so willingly provides care for❣️🙏”

“Took great care of my little Ralphie! She took care and kept me constantly updated with how things were going. Diligently showed up at the times I needed for Ralphie. I would certainly use Katie again should I need her to watch my cat.”

“Louisa did an amazing job! I have a kitty with special care/feeding instructions that require attention to detail that she followed perfectly. She also took great care of my home and provided updates on everything as I away. I could tell she genuinely cares about animals just from our initial meet & greet too. I always get so nervous leaving my cat when I go on trips but Louisa absolutely earned my trust and I will be booking with her again in the future for sure as long as she’s still pet sitting. Thank you so much again :)”

“Kelly did a great job with our kittens while we were away, she was prompt and gave us great updates. Our kittens enjoyed her company & we would definitely book her again.”

“I highly recommend Shelby. She’s friendly and personable and left our house in great shape. The kitties were fed and watered as requested and she even snapped a few photos. She was here when she said she would be and is a stellar sitter :)”

About: Although my profile is new to Rover, I am well versed in the experience for years. My mother has been a Rover sitter since I was a child and I have much experience with her going to help at clients houses. I have experience with dogs of all ages from birth to end of life, as well as cats. I am an avid animal lover and owner of exotic pets as well. I grew up on a homestead and have experience with many types of pets including livestock! Dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, rodents, birds, insects and invertebrates, I have experience with them all. I grew up with 10 dogs! My schedule is very open. I am currently post bachelors taking a break from school, as well as pursuing my degrees in Art and Anthropology. I have flexibility in my schedule to meet your needs, and I love to have detailed communication to make sure that we are always on the same page. As a sitter I am prepared to follow your pet's schedule and specific needs to keep them as comfortable and happy as possible while you are away. I would want to meet you and your pets beforehand to make sure I have a clear grasp on their schedule and needs and follow them precisely. I am very detailed when it comes to directions for my own pets so I am prepared to give your babies the same care I want for mine. I have so much in depth experience with dogs growing up on a homestead, and many of those experiences involved emergencies. I know what signs to look for to make sure your dog is safe and healthy, and will always err on the side of complete caution. I have a strong respect for safety and health and want your dog to not only be taken care of but observed in depth to make sure they are getting everything they need from me. I hope to leave every client better connected with their dogs.
About: I've cared for furry friends since I could walk. My family raised me in an environment where caring for animals was a form of education, and one I'm happy to share every day. I own a business that operates in a seasonal fashion. This affords me the opportunity to be available where most aren't. Whether that be for day visits and walks, or night time check ins. My home is great for dogs. My old boy loves company. He's very gentle. I have access to walking trails as well. I am happy to accommodate for kennel trained or non-kennel trained.

About: I’ve cared for cats of all personalities for over 7 years. Friends and neighbors trust me to feed, play, and give their cats plenty of love and attention. I’m experienced with shy or independent cats, patient with kittens, and always make sure litter boxes stay clean and cozy spaces feel safe.
About: Hi! I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and truly can’t imagine a home without them. I started training animals at the age of 16, which helped me learn how to understand different personalities, energy levels, and needs. Our home is full of love—we have two sweet doodles who are part of our family, and two children who absolutely adore animals and enjoy helping give them attention and care. Pets in our home are treated like family, with plenty of patience, affection, and playtime. We are kind, loving people who take pet care seriously. Whether your pet needs extra cuddles, structured care, or just a safe and happy place while you’re away, we’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for at all times. I work from home, which gives me a very flexible daily schedule and allows me to be present with pets throughout the day. Because I’m home most of the time, pets receive plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and affection. In my home, pets are treated like family. I don’t believe in isolating animals—pets are welcome on the couch, in the bed, and anywhere they feel comfortable. I believe cuddles, affection, and feeling safe are just as important as food and walks, so your pet will get plenty of love and attention while staying with us. They will be allowed to play in our large fence yard and pool. When caring for pets in someone else’s home, I follow instructions exactly as requested. I respect your routines, rules, and preferences so your pet’s care stays consistent and stress-free. Whether that means crate time, specific feeding schedules, or house rules, I make sure everything is done the way you want.

About: I work at FSU (as a 9-month contract faculty), so I'm totally free (full time at home) during the summer. I love dog and I have owned one small dog 'Sadie' since 2013. She is very friendly, enthusiastic and gets along well with other dogs in our neighborhood. Sadie likes walking, so I take her to a walk twice a day in the mornings and in the evenings. I'd like to extend my love to your dog, especially for those who don't have the privilege to take care of their dogs full time. I have a large fenced yard. There is beautiful grass almost everywhere in my neighborhood. I can follow any directions given, and send updates throughout the day if wanted. If you are curious about the dog sitting time lapse in the past three years, that's because we had a baby daughter in the year of 2000. She is now 3 years old and she is a dog lover as well! The other reason is that our dog Sadie was paralyzed and we had to spend a lot time taking care of her. Fortunately she has been recovering very well and now she can walk normally (sometimes with a sling support on her back) as happy as she is always. We have learned how to take good care of a special needs dog. I'm currently on my summer vacation (as a 9-month contract faculty at FSU), so I have plenty of time to play with your pets and take good care of them as I do with my own dog - Sadie. I have a large fenced yard with a large covered patio and a very friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. With four bedrooms and a large sunroom, I can easily crate your pet or put in a separate (private) room if needed.

Perfect for high energy dogs - Meridian
“Ainla was recommended by our vet. Our two year old dog Sonny is a bit anxious when meeting new people/animals so we didn’t know how his first Rover dayboarding would go. Well, we can report that it went very well! Ainla gave us regular updates and went above and beyond. Sonny will definitely go to her again! 5 stars!”
“Diana put all my worries to rest. She took amazing care of my senior dog! Paris came back super relaxed. Diana provided updates and I could tell she was taking good care of my Paris :) Would 100% recommend and will definitely contact her again.”

“I have a senior dog with special needs. Kate asked intelligent appropriate questions to evaluate if she and Matthew would be a good fit to ensure my dog was not a risk to himself, their home, or other dogs, and how to best meet his needs by understanding his behaviors. Once we agreed to a trial day care day. I was impressed with the care provided and my dog was very comfortable and happy being there. Kate sent photos and updates and was quickly responsive to my questions. Their dogs and teens are good companions to the client dogs, the house is dog-friendly in comfort and safety with all non-chewable temptations stowed away, and their spacious fenced yard provides stimulation and exercise. With a dog-friendly pool, they are hitting the pet resort level for my Boykin! They have earned our trust and respect as dog care providers, and we are grateful to have found them!”

“Reymun was great! He was there for us when we had a last minute request and was so quick to communicate. He sent us updates during the day and some cute pictures of peaches spending time outside. We won’t hesistate to reach out to Reymun again or recommend him to others!”

“Dropped dog off, Nice neigh, nice house. Mathew was personable and friendly. I know my dog enjoyed their dogs and kids. Nice report card and pictures. Plan to use again.”

“Aylee was absolutely wonderful with Peaches! She accommodated us on very short notice, which we really appreciated, and she was incredibly communicative and friendly throughout the entire stay. We felt confident right away that Peaches was in great hands. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was being so well cared for. We would recommend Aylee to anyone and are already looking forward to bringing Peaches back in the future!”

“The best dog sitter in Tallahassee!! Highly Recommend!! My wife and I were in Tallahassee for our homecoming weekend and needed a dog sitter. Judith did an outstanding job taking care of our Furbaby! She was very warm and welcoming; and our puppy was excited to return the 2nd day. When we return to town we will only use Judith!”

About: I have been dog sitting for friends and neighbors since the day I got my drivers license! We recently moved to Tallahassee, and after dog sitting for a mutual friend, I realized this is something I really enjoy — and my dog does too! While we’re not in a position to get her a sibling, I know she’d love the company of other dogs. We have a large fenced in back yard and a large crate (to be used only if that is your preference). I’ll brag that my dog is great with other dogs — she senses what they need, and doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body. What a great opportunity to know your dog is having as much fun as you are while you’re away! As someone who works from home, I generally let my dog out in the morning before starting work. I can easily let the dog(s) out as often as possible during the day. I can take breaks to play, but generally save any structured activity for after work. In the evenings we love to take walks around the neighborhood or through a local park. With more time on the weekends, we enjoy driving to explore longer walks and greenways. Although I have obligations out of the house, the longest I’m away from home any given day is usually no longer than 4 hours total. I have a large fenced in yard and a very friendly dog who loves to play, but also understands boundaries. Although we don’t use the crate for our dog anymore, we still have a large crate that can be used if that is your preference. We have a one story house but do have stairs up to the house and into the yard.
“Byron came to the rescue last minute to watch my two pups—saved our vacation from needing to be cancelled last minute. When we got the dogs back at the end of the day, they were both so tired and happy—perfect day of daycare!! Will definitely be a repeat customer.”

About: I love animals, and sit my friends pets often. I will be a great caretaker for your pets. I look forward to meeting you and your dog (or cat)! I know how hard it is to find someone reliable to take care of your pets when you're out town. I am able to visit your dog up to 2 times per day and I am home on the weekends. Please feel free to ask me any questions and I look forward to meeting ... As summer is almost upon us, I know many of you are planning vacations. If you need a house and or pet-sitter during your away time, please, write to me. I do not always use rover to conduct payments but am happy to use the site if you prefer. If you would like to contact one of my previous clients for a recommendation, please let me know and I will send you their contact information.
“Communication was great. At drop-off I truly felt my pup was in great hands. Sent pictures throughout the day to let me know how everything was going. Definitely will be a returning client.”

About: Hi! I'm Charli, and I've been caring for animals in both a professional and personal capacity for several years. I've worked as a bather, groomer, daycare, and veterinary clinic professional for over 5 years, and have experience with all of the following animals: dogs (all sizes), cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, rats, fish, pigs, lizards, birds, & more! I most enjoy house sitting, dog walking, and daytime care, and I am able to travel to the further parts of the Tallahassee metro area upon request. For overnight animal guest needs, I have a home in the Astoria Park area of Tallahassee with a big fenced back yard and 5 animals of my own (2 cats, 2 dogs, and 1 ferret). All of our animals are great with other pets and love to meet new friends. If needed, we can also set up a room your pet can have all to themselves. Pet care is my everyday priority! My fiancée works full time from home, allowing me to devote my time to giving our pets and others' pets the care and attention they need (and deserve). I take pet care very seriously and am very attuned to animals' body language. As a veterinary worker, I have been trained to handle any situation in a calm and collected manner. Additionally, I like to ensure proper nutrition, adequate play time and potty breaks, and down time/quiet time when pets are feeling overwhelmed.

I am flexible, dependable, and happy to work with your schedule to make sure your pet gets the care and attention they deserve :) Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities! I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with plenty of safe walking areas and green space nearby for regular walks, exercise, and potty breaks. Since I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised on a leash to ensure your pet is always safe. I carefully follow any instructions provided for feeding schedules, crate use, medications, or anything else. I also fully respect their routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable and stress-free! I am patient, attentive, and mindful of each animal’s individual needs. I can also provide updates and photos regularly so parents feel comfortable while they are away.

“First walk with Katie and a very active and shy Lagotto! She did awesome. I love how she tried to work with him and his leash needs and practiced discernment around other dogs. About: I’ve been pet sitting for family for years now and figured it’s time to branch out the business. I live alone, have a large back yard and a nice park nearby my house. I would pet sit at times when I am available to and take on pets in a manner that makes logistical sense for me and my schedule. I check on them and look for any signs of obvious discomfort or distress. Make sure they have time to use the bathroom/clean litter box and water. Most animals will try and communicate to you what they need, so it’s good to follow the routines they have at home and interpret what they need and at what time.

I always aim to keep pets comfortable, safe, and happy while their owners are away. I’m currently attending cosmetology school Monday through Thursday from 8am–3pm, so I’m available for pet care after 3pm on weekdays, as well as evenings and most weekends. I’m dependable, responsive, and happy to work around your pet’s routine. I have a cat of my own and regularly help care for my parents’ two cats and one dog, so I’m very comfortable around pets. I follow instructions closely and make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs sense I was 10, I’ve gone to numerous dog training camps, I’ve worked at two vets and have taken care and own dogs and cats myself. I work part time and in school part time but I have a lot of flexibility with my day and always take priority over animals as I’m going to school to be a vet. I have a fenced in yard, and love going on walks with dogs, and making sure they have enough water afterwards, i love having a schedule when it comes to house sitting and making sure everything is accurate.
About: I had a 16 year old Weimaraner whom I helped care for ever since she was a 9 week old puppy. Currently, l have a 4 year old weimeraner named Lily whom l have also had since she was a puppy. Since 2021, l have had numerous experiences pet sitting for dogs and cats. My availability is extremely flexible, as apart from pet sitting, l am only working part time as a dance/yoga instructor. I am available to take care of your pets Monday through Sunday. I can provide photo updates of your pets during visits and will make sure you know of my arrival and departure time for each visit.

About: I have taken care of animals, for quite sometime. I used to live on a farm, so I can do chickens, goats, pigs, horses, cows. Dogs and cats are just my go too. I have 2 dogs of my own, and 5 cats. I have fostered plenty of kittens for the shelter, and all of my babies were rescues. As of right now, I got let go. I have open availability for when you leave for vacation. Or just go out of town for work. I take my dogs to the dog park twice a week, and a fenced in back yard. My boys like to dig in the litter box, so when I'm not home, I do crate them. Other than that, they hang out with the cats or outside.

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life and worked with many shelters to provide assistance with animals. Training to become a vet at my college of Florida State University. Pet care fits into my daily routine all the time. Love putting animals first and don’t have much for the summer since all my classes are online. I respect the clients home and make sure whatever I touch or use I put back into the same place in which I found it. I would give clients animals respect and excitement to bring joy to being taken care of

“They took very good care of my dog! They sent me many videos/pictures of my dog! I felt very safe with leaving my dog there! I would definitely rebook if I could!”

About: I am a vet tech with 10 years of experience in the field. I have owned dogs and cats my whole life. I pet sit for friends and family and am happy to share my services with those in need. I love dogs and cats to my core. I work full time at a specialty vet clinic in town. I have Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off to spend time socializing with your pets. From 7-8:30 am on a typical work day will be spent getting pets ready for the day. Feeding breakfast, morning meditations if needed, play time in the fenced yard. Then from 12-1 will be when they are let out again during my lunch break. From 3-7 someone that lives in the house is home to check on the needs of the pets in the house. After 7 I will be home for dinner time, play time, and getting ready for bed. I have a spare bedroom dedicated for boarding pets. I have a play pen, and dog crates if needed. I have a fenced in yard. All my furniture in my house is pet friendly. I have dogs and cats that live in my home and are friendly with other dogs and cats. Also a meet and greet beforehand is always a good idea.
“Very friendly, communicative, and loving to my sweet pups! They normally don’t eat when we travel because they’re missing us, but they even ate the night we left, says a lot about her character. Will absolutely use her again for future travels!!”

“Colette is our’s and Lucca’s favorite sitter. Lucca happily jumps in her car to begin her own vacay while we begin ours knowing she’s in the caring hands of Colette who understands her. Colette is a terrific communicator, sending us daily assurances that all is well!”

“Richard is exceptionally knowledgeable about dogs, and I could see from the videos he sent, that dogs under his care feel safe! I could have not have imagined a better place for my dog to be.”

“We want to take the time to express our gratitude to Ms. Marissa S. She took excellent care of our girl Oli while we were away. She treated Oli as if one of the family. We received regular updates and pictures giving us a peace of mind. We will definitely be reaching out to her anytime we need help with our dog. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to others.”

“Victoria was absolutely incredible with Bailey over the Christmas and New Year’s break. Bailey has high anxiety, so leaving him is never easy — but Victoria truly made him feel at home. From the moment I saw the updates, I could tell he was having the time of his life. She went above and beyond by spending quality time with him, throwing the frisbee, giving him fun snacks, and making sure he felt loved and comfortable. The photos she shared were so thoughtful and reassuring — it was clear he wasn’t just being watched, he was being genuinely cared for and spoiled. What stood out most was how naturally she created a calm, happy environment for a dog who normally struggles with anxiety. That alone speaks volumes about her patience, attentiveness, and love for animals. Bailey came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Victoria is truly a gem, and I honestly feel she’s undervalued for the level of care she provides. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book with her again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their dog like family.”

“Amanda was absolutely amazing! We had to leave for a family emergency and decided to try Rover. When I tell you, this was probably the best decision ever. Amanda was very kind and you can tell she’s a true animal lover with lots of experience. While we were away, Amanda kept us updated on our kittens with daily texts and photos. When I returned home, my little kittens were happy and well taken care of. I can’t thank her enough for taking excellent care of my lil fur baes. ☺️”

“Byron is a wonderful and caring pet sitter; I highly recommend him. He is responsible, his house is very clean and has a super friendly pet, named Lucy, that spent hours playing with Apollo. Thumbs up!!”

“She was amazing to my boy! I loved all the pics she sent while she had him and was really understanding when I ran a little behind on pick up. I would DEFINITELY recommend her to anyone for their fur baby's care. ?”
