About: I have been dog sitting for friends and neighbors since the day I got my drivers license! We recently moved to Tallahassee, and after dog sitting for a mutual friend, I realized this is something I really enjoy — and my dog does too! While we’re not in a position to get her a sibling, I know she’d love the company of other dogs. We have a large fenced in back yard and a large crate (to be used only if that is your preference). I’ll brag that my dog is great with other dogs — she senses what they need, and doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body. What a great opportunity to know your dog is having as much fun as you are while you’re away! As someone who works from home, I generally let my dog out in the morning before starting work. I can easily let the dog(s) out as often as possible during the day. I can take breaks to play, but generally save any structured activity for after work. In the evenings we love to take walks around the neighborhood or through a local park. With more time on the weekends, we enjoy driving to explore longer walks and greenways. Although I have obligations out of the house, the longest I’m away from home any given day is usually no longer than 4 hours total. I have a large fenced in yard and a very friendly dog who loves to play, but also understands boundaries. Although we don’t use the crate for our dog anymore, we still have a large crate that can be used if that is your preference. We have a one story house but do have stairs up to the house and into the yard.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for family for years now and figured it’s time to branch out the business. I live alone, have a large back yard and a nice park nearby my house. I would pet sit at times when I am available to and take on pets in a manner that makes logistical sense for me and my schedule. I check on them and look for any signs of obvious discomfort or distress. Make sure they have time to use the bathroom/clean litter box and water. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs sense I was 10, I’ve gone to numerous dog training camps, I’ve worked at two vets and have taken care and own dogs and cats myself. About: I have taken care of animals, for quite sometime. I used to live on a farm, so I can do chickens, goats, pigs, horses, cows. Dogs and cats are just my go too. I have 2 dogs of my own, and 5 cats. I have fostered plenty of kittens for the shelter, and all of my babies were rescues. As of right now, I got let go. About: I work at FSU (as a 9-month contract faculty), so I'm totally free (full time at home) during the summer. I love dog and I have owned one small dog 'Sadie' since 2013. She is very friendly, enthusiastic and gets along well with other dogs in our neighborhood. Sadie likes walking, so I take her to a walk twice a day in the mornings and in the evenings. I'd like to extend my love to your dog, especially for those who don't have the privilege to take care of their dogs full time. I have a large fenced yard. There is beautiful grass almost everywhere in my neighborhood. I can follow any directions given, and send updates throughout the day if wanted. If you are curious about the dog sitting time lapse in the past three years, that's because we had a baby daughter in the year of 2000. She is now 3 years old and she is a dog lover as well! The other reason is that our dog Sadie was paralyzed and we had to spend a lot time taking care of her. Fortunately she has been recovering very well and now she can walk normally (sometimes with a sling support on her back) as happy as she is always. We have learned how to take good care of a special needs dog. I'm currently on my summer vacation (as a 9-month contract faculty at FSU), so I have plenty of time to play with your pets and take good care of them as I do with my own dog - Sadie. I have a large fenced yard with a large covered patio and a very friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. With four bedrooms and a large sunroom, I can easily crate your pet or put in a separate (private) room if needed.
About: I’ve had pets my entire life and dog sit for family and friends through the years. I now have 3 dogs and 3 children. 2 of my children are teenagers and would like to start working. I would like to use Rover as a way to help families with their pets and help me teach my children how to establish a job that is enjoyable. About: I am a vet tech with 10 years of experience in the field. I have owned dogs and cats my whole life. I pet sit for friends and family and am happy to share my services with those in need. I love dogs and cats to my core. I work full time at a specialty vet clinic in town. I have Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off to spend time socializing with your pets. From 7-8:30 am on a typical work day will be spent getting pets ready for the day. Feeding breakfast, morning meditations if needed, play time in the fenced yard. Then from 12-1 will be when they are let out again during my lunch break. From 3-7 someone that lives in the house is home to check on the needs of the pets in the house. After 7 I will be home for dinner time, play time, and getting ready for bed. I have a spare bedroom dedicated for boarding pets. I have a play pen, and dog crates if needed. I have a fenced in yard. All my furniture in my house is pet friendly. I have dogs and cats that live in my home and are friendly with other dogs and cats. Also a meet and greet beforehand is always a good idea.
