About: I have taken care of cats of all temperaments when I worked at a shelter. Some cats have a hard time with new people and that’s ok. I am very patient and respectful of their space and usually they let me do what I need to do. I also currently have a cat of my own who was formerly a stray and has some health issues so I have experience giving oral medication and eyedrops. I also feed a few stray cats in my area and they have come to accept my presence even though they’re pretty feral. Overall, I have experience with all kinds of cats and usually the answer is plenty of patience and they will at least accept my presence.

About: I was born and raised around dogs like Lassie. My dad trained dogs, so I understand calm presence and consistent caregiving. Quick story: One day, I noticed my mom’s chihuahua-papillon mix, Jacques Cousteau, scrunching his face as he tried to eat crunchy food. I went to PetSmart and brought home the healthiest soft food I could find. When he braced himself to bite into it but didn’t hurt his old teeth, he ran over and jumped onto my lap, licking my whole face until I was laughing, knowing he felt seen. He gained a few pounds over the next few weeks (6 pounds to 9, 50% more!). I was so happy that he could eat again without pain. He lived to be about 15 years old! For a chihuahua, that’s a very long happy life. I will treat your dog like it’s my own. Please share any special care needs with me. I am able to be very attentive. Your dog will be my top priority. About: I have had and taken care of dogs of all age ranges over the years. I used to foster and take in rescues, so I’m used to all types of doggie personalities, sizes and ages. I can be extremely flexible to fit almost any need or rigorous schedule. I have an apartment by myself, with my 1 dog, with nice trails and fenced in areas to let pets play off leash. I also have different enrichment toys and other exercises for physical and mental stimulation.

About: Hi thanks for considering me for the care of your tiny baby! I’ve been pet sitting full time in the Sarasota/Bradenton/Tampa area (I am now in Gainesville, FL) for over 4 years now but in that time I’ve met over a dozen new families! It feels crazy that I've made lifelong connections with something that was just supposed to be part time. (If you can’t tell I LOVE my job and enjoying connecting and caring for every new family.🥰 ) I took about a year off, only pet sitting for my regulars but now that I'm settled into Gainesville I'm opening my schedule for new clients! As much as I love cuddling and playing trust is everything and if you have an especially anxious pup or just mistrusting, I can give them the space they need and show them they can trust this new person in their house by taking things at their speed. I’m great for last minute plans so you don’t have to worry about where your baby is going or if they’ll get enough loving while you’re away. :) I like to live an active lifestyle walking at the beach or finding a new trail. As far as a daily routine I like to adapt to whatever the dog or cat's schedule is but at the end of the night love ending up on the couch cuddling watching tv! Since I do this full time my schedule is according to my client's pretty simple. On my days off though I still like to keep a routine sleeping until my cat cries for wet food, stretching, and journaling every single morning. Throughout the week I do strength training and am taking an online bookkeeping class. Safety for me and you pet is always going to be number one over everything. If a dog or cat feels unsafe, things can only go down from there. The key is to give a fearful or uncomfortable pet SPACE and let them come to me.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 15 years. I speak fluent Spanish! I’ve raised my dog Zoso since I was 14 when she was a puppy, she recently passed away at 17 years old so having other dogs around makes me so happy. I also have two cats who are young, orange, and friendly, and I own horses, so I’m experienced with pets of all sizes and personalities. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I am an expert on giving medication too from having a senior dog for many years!
