Buddy is a rescue and a very nervous little guy, so Robin had us bring him over for short little stays with her prior to our vacation, so that Buddy could get adjusted to us leaving him for a period of time. She truly cares about the pets she watches, and I felt like she cared for Buddy as if he were her own. Robin kept us updated on how he was doing, and included photos. We missed Buddy terribly while we were away, but we knew he was in safe, capable, and loving hands. “Teri is absolutely one of the BEST sitters that I've found on Rover. She is sweet, accommodating, and was really quick to respond to my messages. We've got an almost 4 years old, Goldendoodle and her name is Bella. She still has lots of energy and NEEDS playtime with her furry friends. Plus, I’m a firm believer in socializing her to different people. One of our regular sitters were on vacation , and the other one had an emergency to come up suddenly. So, I jumped on to Rover.com and was very fortunate to have found Teri. We live in Arcadia and we've got a pawnshop in Port Charlotte. We moved to Florida 4 years ago from Tennessee , and we still have family there. Well, I like to a Plan A, B and C for Bella's day camp and boarding options, just in case an emergency pops up or if we just want to have a date night then we have options for our girl 🧡 We will definitely recommend Teri to others and Bella will be returning soon, like on the next few days. Teri texted me updates and pictures throughout the day and she was very pleasant to text and talk with. She also teolf me that her husband really enjoy having Bella there as well. About: Animals of all shapes & sizes have played a major part in my life. I had multiple dogs in my home growing up, and spent my summers working at my family’s farm. Taking care of animals is like a job- if you love what you’re doing it’s never really work. I work from home Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and in the office Monday & Thursday. I am mostly always at home which allows for more play time! My home is on 1.6 acres which gives plenty of room to run around. I am a believer in “pets are family” and they are to be treated as such. I am also big on consistency and know how imperative it is to maintain a schedule for your pets.

About: I've grown up with a large variety of pets my entire life, ranging from dogs (big, medium and small), cats, fish, beared dragons, chinchillas, and hamsters. I also have drop in-s for other pets which last about an hour. Please make it clear how long your animal is able to be alone when booking so there’s no confusion. I love pets more than people! I teach hour long yoga classes so gone about 2 and a half hours with commute and set up time! I always do a meet and greet so I know where I’m staying, where the dog food is and how everything works, like when trash day is etc.

I have a lot of experience with animals such as cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, and dogs. I am currently in dog grooming school so i am available Monday, Sunday, Friday, and Saturday.
