About: My undergraduate studies in Animal Cognition first brought me to Florida six years ago. I instantly fell in love with the sand, sun, and ability to truly live an outdoor lifestyle. And, it only gets better now that I get to share all these beautiful things with my rescued GSP pup! I have dedicated my professional career to studying the behavior of animals, whether it's marine mammals, horses, or our beloved canine companions. I have recently found myself returning to my passion for dog training and personalizing everyday routines to best suit my clients. About: We own one dog and had two dogs before that. Dogs feel comfortable and loved here. No matter if short or long stays and big or small, old or young dog - there's always room and fun to be had. My husband and I grew up with dogs and can't be without. We have toys and some treats but individual dog-approved is always better. When boarding a dog over a time period that requires feeding I expect food to be provided. While I take any dog and treat it like my own I need to know in advance if there are medical or behavioral issues. I'm a stay-at-home mom of four little ones (10-2yo) We get up early every morning and go to bed rather late. I have a fenced yard, a super friendly dog and my kids grew up with dogs so know how to treat/ not treat dogs. I can also separate dogs if needed. Dogs are always loosely supervised. I am a stay-at-home mom, homeschooling 3 out of 4 kids and so am extremely flexible to all needs of your fur baby. My yard is fenced in for drop-offs that enjoy outside and we have a separate room if a dog requires a calmer environment than the business of a bigger family. I grew up with various dogs and sized dogs. I know how to handle most tempers that are not aggressive. I understand every dog has its own personality and timeline. We go on frequent walks so she can get her sniffing in which is incredibly important for a dog’s brain. Even just 15 minutes sniffing around outside does wonders for their cognitive health. She gets a treat after her potty breaks, and is a big fan of pumpkin! I add a bit to her food for vitamins and minerals. I bathe her and keep her nails trimmed as well as brushing her fur to keep it soft and comfy for her.
About: Since I was 10 I have had a golden retriever and a German Shephard. I’ve helped my family take care of our dogs and have also helped out with neighbors or friends to help take care of their animals. It would be a joy to help out because I would love to use my free time to be able to walk dogs. It would help me and the dog get some daily exercise.
