Sammi originally stayed with Aurora for 2 nights, but she had such a great time that I allowed her to go back for a third 🙂 Aurora does an exceptional job of making sure your pup is comfortable in her home. She takes special note of the things they enjoy, their triggers/traumas…and operates accordingly. Not to mention, she takes the most stunning photos of your dog and sends multiple updates throughout the day, so you aren’t left to wonder how they are doing. My husband and I grew up with dogs and can't be without. We have toys and some treats but individual dog-approved is always better. While I take any dog and treat it like my own I need to know in advance if there are medical or behavioral issues. I'm a stay-at-home mom of four little ones (10-2yo) We get up early every morning and go to bed rather late. My entryway has double doors that adds a second layer of security for pets during drop-off and pick-up. I have 3 dogs of my own that are very friendly as we have been doing this for quite some time. The two little dogs keep to themselves as they are older. My golden loves every one and every thing. She makes for the perfect playmate. In case your dog is over-stimulated or just needs a break, I have a way to separate my dogs using baby gates so that we are all still together in the same living area but can rest. She takes special note of the things they enjoy, their triggers/traumas…and operates accordingly. Not to mention, she takes the most stunning photos of your dog and sends multiple updates throughout the day, so you aren’t left to wonder how they are doing. Sammi came home happy and slept like baby on our 8 hour road trip to South Carolina after her stay. It’s safe to say, Aurora will be my go to sitter anytime I am in the area. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!”

About: Lifelong owner - Great Dane, Pit-bull, Puggle, German Shepherd + cats. I grew up with a Great Dane (gentle giants + large breed care), a Pit-bull (high energy, strong, total love bug – Big on positive reinforcement), a Puggle (small dog sass + sniffy walks), and cats, so I’m comfortable with any size, breed or personality. I currently have a German Shepherd, who is friendly, social, and great with other dogs. He’s up-to-date on vaccines and loves having playmates. Your dog will get a built-in buddy for supervised play in our big fenced backyard, but I always do slow introductions and can keep them separate if needed for meals/naps. If your dog refers people only, just let me know and I’ll manage it. I’ve been pet sitting since I was 11 – boarding, daycare, walks, droppings, puppies to seniors. Dogs here get potty breaks every 1-2 hours in the backyard, lots of exercise, photo updates, and never left alone for long.
