With Dave I know that I can rest assured that my cat will be well taken care of while I'm away... Dave takes pride in what he does and it shows, my cat loves him! Dave takes his time to play with the cat , makes sure there is always ample amounts of water/food available, and the litter box is in tip top shape. Dave is also a perfect house sitter: very respectful, attentive and trustworthy! I never have to worry about my plants dying (they are living things too!) or mailbox overflowing among other things. About: I've taken care of all types of dogs throughout my life, personally owning a large Newfoundland and an Australian Cattle dog, so I have experience dealing with extremely high and low energy breeds. Im a life long animal lover who is currently pursuing my undergraduate in Animal Sciences with a focus on pre veterinarian medicine. In the past Ive dealt more with larger zoo animals like wolves and lynx's but Im always a sucker for some cute dogs. Im currently working mid week, Im available for boarding at any time however during M,T,Th,F bathroom breaks will be limited to 4-8 hours. During weekends and Wednesdays Ill be available to give your furry friends all the attention they need throughout the day. I live in a condo with no designated yard however there is an unfenced yard available for use and dogs will be taken on frequent walks, at least 2 times a day but this varies on your dogs needs. Im open to all dog sitting styles so if you like your dog crated at night or left to roam around just let me know. If your dog has specific preferences or needs please just specify before dropping them off.

As we were desperate and didn’t know what to do we texted Michele and in 5 minutes we were able to drop Saturno off for the day while we enjoyed the beach. We received videos and pictures of Saturno playing in the couch and truly feeling like home. Saturno enjoyed his time there as he received tons of love and played with other puppies. About: A dog lover for as long as I can remember, I currently own one young pup after recently losing my two senior girls. I know how daunting it can be to imagine leaving your beloved animal with anyone other than you. The anxiety and stress that comes with making sure your dog is safe and cared for while you’re not able to is no joke, and I take the honor very seriously. I volunteered at the humane society as a canine coach for over 5 years and assisted with dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperament, and need. I am experienced in senior dogs, and giving medication if needed. My oldest girl was a diabetic and I adhered strictly to her schedule and dosages. I will respect all of the directions and wishes of care for your furry friend as if they were my own. Dogs know dog people, and dogs are my people! I am an entrepreneur at heart. I own 2 small businesses, one of which is my sourdough bakery I run out of my home, but I am single with no children and big goals so I thought I’d merge my love of animals with the possibility to make some extra money. I work mostly from home, with only my regular weekly dog walks which don’t last longer than 3 hours so I am always able to get home every few hours. I am a true homebody and enjoy spending my free time relaxing at home with my dogs. If I am watching the animals in my home, I have several areas in my home that can be separated if need be. My puppy is put in a gated area whenever I am not home. Depending on the care instructions for your pet, I have various crates, gated areas, or if they are able to be out free while I’m away they will be (as long as everyone gets along and they aren’t damaging my property). I have a small fenced yard for quick potty breaks and a quiet safe neighborhood we walk daily. Currently, my availability is limited to the evenings and weekends :) Some of my background… I began pet sitting in my own home as a child, where I learned the basics of animal care and behavior through my dog, two cats, and tortoise. My care experience became more comprehensive as they reached old age which translated well as I began looking after the pets of friends and neighbors by walking, feeding, medicating, and of course giving their animals lots of attention while they were away. As my professional career shifted toward wildlife research and handling, my experience in animal care increased significantly. I spent eight months out of this past year working as a pet care tech at a cage-free doggy day care and boarding facility, where I handled all different sizes, ages, and demeanors of dogs in groups of 10-25 animals. I became very effective in evaluating dog behavior in order to mitigate negative interactions in the groups and monitor any changes in their health while they were under my care. On top of this, I spent time bathing, trimming nails, cleaning ears, brushing, feeding, and playing with dogs every single day. Furthermore, I took extra steps to provide notes on each dog’s health, behavior, and their playmates while they were under my supervision so that the owners knew what their dog was up to while they were away! This extra effort earned me the first employee of the month designation the company has awarded in many years. I left this position when I accepted a role at a national park, but I would love to dive back into the pet care world and visit your furry friends! I am comfortable caring for pets of all ages and I will see to their medical and behavioral needs as directed by you-the owner! I love to focus on reducing anxiety and energy levels through the activity most suited to the pet whether that be playing with a particular toy, training, or going on a walk. Furthermore, I will give attention to the pet based on their behavioral cues so not to cross their boundaries if they’re wary of new people. About: I've taken care of all types of dogs throughout my life, personally owning a large Newfoundland and an Australian Cattle dog, so I have experience dealing with extremely high and low energy breeds. Im a life long animal lover who is currently pursuing my undergraduate in Animal Sciences with a focus on pre veterinarian medicine. In the past Ive dealt more with larger zoo animals like wolves and lynx's but Im always a sucker for some cute dogs. Im currently working mid week, Im available for boarding at any time however during M,T,Th,F bathroom breaks will be limited to 4-8 hours. During weekends and Wednesdays Ill be available to give your furry friends all the attention they need throughout the day. I live in a condo with no designated yard however there is an unfenced yard available for use and dogs will be taken on frequent walks, at least 2 times a day but this varies on your dogs needs. Im open to all dog sitting styles so if you like your dog crated at night or left to roam around just let me know. If your dog has specific preferences or needs please just specify before dropping them off.
