Personalized care for your dog or cat - Layton

“Jaime is an angel! She took great care of my senior Yorkie Tank (13 YO). Although my request was last minute it went through seamlessly and later she was able to extent his stay with no problem. Her vet tech experience was incredibly important for my baby’s medical condition. She also trimmed his nails for me. I asked for numerous updates which Jamie provided through text, photos and videos. She even went to pick up his wet food when he didn’t eat the dry food I provided. She lives on a yacht and has an excellent setup for fur babies. Now I brag to everyone how my baby boy spent his summer vacation on a yacht 😂.”

“Cooper loved his stay with Patty and her sweet pups. It was his first visit and he settled in right away-so comfortable, he spent two nights. Patty takes great care and is a terrific communicator. Next time we visit the Keys, we’ll look forward to another visit!”

I currently work full-time as a teacher, but I have flexibility to come home during the day. and I am finished each day by 2:30 I live in an apartment under a house with a very large yard, but not fenced in… My landlord‘s upstairs do have a big Doberman, but he is super friendly. I can only accommodate pet friendly dogs at my home.

My own sweet dog is 15 years old and still going strong and I also have an adventurous little cat. Fun fact: They are both international travelers and have been to 6 other countries and traveled more than half of the United States and lived on a sailboat for over 5 years with me. I have open availability for visits and walks for dogs of all ages and sizes. I am great at training puppies and caring for seniors. I love to stay active and outdoors so taking your pups with me is a fun way to spend time doing just that!
“We had not boarded Sherlock before, and we were nervous. OMG, he had the best time. He loves other dogs, so it went well! Julie sent us daily pics and updates. We realized he was having a wonderful time. That allowed us to relax on our trip. Sherlock even hesitated at the gate when I picked him up, I think he might have wanted to stay with his new friends!!!”

About: I’m a huge animal lover and the type of person who will absolutely stop to say hi to every dog I pass. I truly love caring for animals and making them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home while their owners are away. I’ve been watching dogs and cats for years for friends, family, referrals, and people I’ve met along the way, and I genuinely enjoy every minute of it. Growing up, my family helped with dog rescues — and still do today — so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. From energetic puppies to senior pets, I love getting to know every pet’s unique personality. I work a hybrid remote schedule, which gives me a flexible routine and allows me to spend quality time with your pet throughout the day. That means more walks, more playtime, more potty breaks, more attention, and of course… plenty of belly rubs and treats (if allowed 😄). I also have experience with longer-term care and have watched pets for entire summers (up to 3 months at a time), so I understand how important consistency, patience, and trust are when caring for someone’s furry family member. My goal is always to make your pet feel like they’re on their own little vacation while you’re away and make sure they are happy, loved, comfortable, and cared for like they’re part of the family. I know leaving your pet with someone is a big deal, and I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and someone you can genuinely feel comfortable trusting with your pet. I would be so excited and grateful for the opportunity to meet you and your pet 🐶🐱. I work from home remotely a lot and am able to take full care of your pets on the weekends and most weekdays. It is a hobby/job for me because I love animals so much! I treat everyone’s pets like my own. Growing up, I had cats, dogs, horses, and every animal you could think of. I would love to have an animal now of my own, but I travel often!
“James and Nancy were absolutely fantastic sitters for Dobby and Troubles! From the very beginning, their communication was clear, consistent, and reassuring. We received regular updates and photos, which made us feel completely at ease knowing our pups were in such good hands. Not only did they provide excellent care, but they also went above and beyond by sharing helpful local recommendations and suggestions during our trip. Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail truly made a difference. Dobby and Troubles came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. We couldn’t ask for a better experience and will definitely book with James and Nancy again. Highly recommended!”

“Yesterday my little yorkie stayed at Miss Sonja’s beautiful house, she spent several hours with my dog ; Miss Sonja sent me videos and photos, during the whole time in her house; it was the first experience to leave my baby with a dog sitter, I'm happy that I found Sonja! my dog was also happy, it was clear that they took care of her, they played with her and my dog calmly sat in Sonja's arms; we are happy to leave our baby with Sonja again when necessary! Very appreciate!”

“Mackinzey - we can’t thank you enough for watching Aspen for us during our wedding week! You are the absolute best & we couldn’t be more grateful for your time & patience that it took for you to make sure that he could be part of our ceremony! Thank you so much!”

“Erin was great with my rabbit. It was a bit of a curve ball I threw but she was willing to take it on and was so helpful. She sent picture updates and gave him everything he needed.”

“I am so thankful I found Diane to care for my two cats while on vacation. It is a frightening thought of leaving ones furry family members in the care of a stranger. Diane is very friendly, and put me at ease during our initial visit. I received messages and photos each day and she was quick to respond with any questions I had. I knew my boys were in great hands and the worry went away. I will most definitely hire Diane again and will share her information with everyone. Diane is great, hire her. You won't regret it.”
“Nicole did a Great job of taking care of our 2 Dachshunds and older Lab. We took a trip to the Dry Tortugas and didn’t want to leave them in our 5th wheel for 14 hrs without a potty break. Nicole made two visits to walk and let the baby’s use the park for a stretch break. One of the girls wet the blanket in her kennel and Nicole noticed it and put it in a plastic bag outside our door. We enjoyed our trip knowing they would be safe and looked after! Thank You Nicole for taking care of our baby’s!”

“Lindsay was very professional and was very good at looking after our kitties while we were gone. She provided regular photos and written updates and got our kitties to trust and spend time with her in a short amount of time. I would highly recommend her without any reservations. She also alerted us when a tree fell in our yard. She is the best!”

She sent updates with pics regularly and left my home impeccable. I hope she will house and pet sit for me again in the future.”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Layton
“It’s not easy to leave your baby with a stranger. But the moment we met Sonja at a prearranged meet and greet location, she was a stranger no more. We could not have asked for a better experience. Biscuit was treated like family. Sonja sent us a collage of the highlights of Biscuit’s day with her new friends, Sonja’s own two pups and another guest. The best photo of all was Sonja and Biscuit on a pink flamingo float in her pool. Sonja is bubbly and pleasant, accommodating, and responsive. She obviously loves animals. You needn’t hesitate entrusting your precious pet(s) to her care. I only wish that she lived in Fort Myers so that Biscuit could visit with her regularly.”

“Our mini schnauzer had a great time with Patricia. We could tell she was loved and enjoyed her visits while we were exploring the Everglades and Biscayne National Parks. If we find ourselves back in the area again we would definitely put our trust in Patricia again. Thanks for taking great care of our pup.”

“Mackinzey - we can’t thank you enough for watching Aspen for us during our wedding week! You are the absolute best & we couldn’t be more grateful for your time & patience that it took for you to make sure that he could be part of our ceremony! Thank you so much!”
