“Madison took amazing care of my two senior cats with twice-daily visits and sent updates and photos every single time she stopped by. She followed all of my feeding instructions perfectly—which is no small task, as one of my cats is on medication and has a very detailed routine—and did a great job keeping the litter boxes clean. We didn’t realize we would run out of medication while we were on vacation, but Madison let me know in advance and even went to the pharmacy to pick up the refill for us. This is my second time booking with her, and both times have been the best cat-sitting experiences I’ve had. She treated my home with care and even checked in on my aquarium and terrarium, occasionally feeding my fish and watering the terrariums. As an added bonus, she works at a veterinary clinic, so she’s very knowledgeable, patient, and understanding with animals. I will absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate sitter.”
“So apparently I didn't know my cat was skittish because we never needed to leave him to be watched by anyone but family. Even still, Yaritza hunted for him (he hid pretty well) and she figured out his hiding spots, which he never really hid before. And while it took the whole trip - she worked on him and got him to warm up to her right at the end there. I'm so thankful she really tried and spent her time with him trying to get him to. She took care of all his needs and cleaned up after him. She also brought in packages, which was just an added bonus. Especially when we had to leave everything in disarray due to personal circumstances, I'm grateful she took such good care of him in our home.”

About: I have owned 2 dogs of my own, as well as sitting for many friends and family. My very first job at 10 years old was requested by my neighbors to watch their dogs while they were away. I have experience with all ages, including senior dogs, as my own both required a lot of hands on care in their golden year, including bi-weekly fluids, medications and special diets. I work part-time, sometimes in the morning to late-afternoon or late-afternoon to evening, usually 4 days a week. This schedule is not the same every week but I usually know 2 weeks ahead of time. There is someone home everyday after 5pm and all day Friday-Sunday as well. I have a townhouse with a fenced in yard. No ability to crate at the moment but plenty of space to crate if one can be provided. There are currently no other animals in my house, as my Biscuit cross the rainbow bridge last year. Both people in the home have owned pets, and have experience with care. Someone is home most of the time, minimal hours alone if any. Weekends will have someone home all day. House has step that can easily be blocked off by a gate if needed.
About: I have had multiple cats since I was very young and adopted several from animal shelters over the past 11 years. I have been a Rover user blessed with some wonderful car sitters and now I have some extra time, I would like to give some back to the community. I am semi retired and love taking care of cats. They all have different personalities and I know the only way to gain their trust is to have them decide on their own terms. About: I have owned dogs since I was a little girl. I have doggie doors at my house that lead out to a large fenced back yard. I work from home and love taking dogs for small walks on my break or just sitting out back with them. We have doggie doors so they can have access any time or I can close them and keep them inside. I dog kennel my Abby when I leave the house but only because she is older and has had small accidents recently. I have doggie doors leading to a fenced in large back yard.

“We have two boxers that have never been anywhere to stay outside of our own home. When we decided to take a 9 day trip I was super anxious about where they would go and who would watch them. Would they behave, have accidents, be treated well, worry that we were never coming back, be a handful and have to cut our trip short? I hesitated for a few days to even consider doing anything other than having someone come to our house because that’s what we were comfortable with. However, they wouldn’t be out of their crate as much and didn’t want to come home to a mess so we took a chance on Rover. I did a lot of searching and analyzing who I thought could handle those two and that I would be okay with leaving them for so long and that’s how we found Donna. Her reviews were consistent across the board and she was very quick to respond and put my mind at ease. We dropped them off and away we went, praying that everything would be okay. We spent the next 9 days receiving multiple pictures, videos and messages from Donna about our babies and made us feel so comfortable and at ease! Not only was I thrilled to have such consistent communication but you could sense the amount of care in her voice through the videos :). To top it all off, upon picking them up, they were clean, so happy and appeared to be very well taken care of! Not to mention Donna created adorable doggy report cards 😍 and even made them bandanas to take home!! I can’t speak highly enough about Donna and her care for our pups. Hands down would use her over and over again. Thank you so much for making this such a wonderful experience for us 🙏❤️ until next time!”

“Laura and Ron were fantastic pet sitters! It was just 2 nights but our little guy Rudy was comfortable with them right away. The fact that they watch one pet at a time was a real plus for us as Rudy does not always do well with other dogs. The daily videos were fun to watch and made us feel good even when we were away. “It was a pleasure having Layla watch our Doberman Leo. He was well loved in her home. She sent us pictures daily, took him to a dog park in her neighborhood when there were no other dogs around and she played with Leo along with her own dog. She even offered to give him a bath before we picked him up. We will definitely be booking with Layla in the future.”
