“This was our first time using James’s for our fur babies and both Winston and Bella just fell into a routine and made themselves right at home! “EXCELLENT LOVING CARE!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! My 17 year old, special needs, completely blind, silky mix dog, Paisley, who also has dementia, stayed with Ms Annette for 8 days while we were on vacation. We were able to bring Paisley to meet Ms Annette prior to boarding her. Things could not have gone better. Ms. Annette was patient, kind, caring, and gave Paisley time to come to her and be comfortable. Her home was spotless as was the separate grooming / boarding area. Dogs have use of / access to both the boarding and home areas, as well as a spacious, outdoor, shady, grassy backyard area to play. Ms Annette even allows dogs on her couch. Because of her age and special needs status, it became impossible to leave Paisley at a typical kennel as they were unable to provide the specialized care and attention she needed. Ms. Annette was able to provide the specialized care needed, provided a lot of love and belly rubs, and even taught Paisley to use her doggy door!! She kept Paisley under her usual home routine which resulted in a smooth transition home. When going to pick her up, Ms Annette greeted me with Paisley in her arms. Paisley was clean, as were her doggy blanket and bed. During her stay, Ms Annette sent daily updates, photos, and videos, confirming Paisley was adjusting well, had made new friends. Ms Annette is 100% recommended. Great care! Lots of love!! Communicative! Board your pet worry free knowing they’ll be very well cared for with Ms. Annette!”

About: I am almost done with my CVA, which has given me hands on experience with animal care and a strong understanding of animal behavior, basic health needs, and how to recognize when a pet may be stressed, uncomfortable, or need extra attention. I’m very attentive to routines like feeding schedules, medications, potty breaks, exercise, and any specific care instructions you have for your pet. I also volunteered at a horse rescue for 6 years, which has helped me become even more patient and comfortable working with animals that all have different personalities and needs. Whether your pet is a playful puppy who needs consistency and extra energy or an older pet who needs a gentler approach, I’m confident in providing calm, dependable care and making sure they feel comfortable while you’re away! Pet care is already a big part of my everyday routine. I currently attend CVA school and as of right now im doing the externship part, I will be done early October! Outside of school, I’m available the rest of the day and can realistically spend most, if not all, of my time with your pet. I also care for my own animals every day, including my dogs, cat, and reptiles—a snake, bearded dragon, turtle, and leopard gecko—so feeding, walking, playtime, bathing, cleaning cages, and keeping their spaces clean are all part of my normal routine. My entire day is basically centered around animals between school and caring for my own pets, so pet sitting fits very naturally into my life. I care for pets with a lot of attention, and fun! I usually feed my pets at the same time every day and follow a schedule, but I keep it flexible so it works for each pet’s needs. I give dry food and simple medications like NexGard but, I also have experience handling special diets and other medications. Playtime happens whenever pets seem bored or want to go outside. I have lots of toys, treats, and fun activities inside, and I enjoy running with dogs outside or taking them on car rides. I keep spaces clean and comfortable, cages and tanks are cleaned regularly, puppy pads are replaced, and everything is wiped down with disinfectant as needed. Pets aren’t left alone for long, except when I’m at school for a few hours. I’m used to managing multiple pets at once by keeping a close eye on everyone and giving each animal their own space when needed. My home is very clean, and I constantly sweep, mop, and vacuum. Overall, I make sure pets are happy, safe, and comfortable, and I treat them as part of my family giving lots of love, attention, and care every day.
About: I've had dogs my entire life. I have worked at dog boarding facilities and various rescues over the years. I am currently a volunteer with a local rescue in Lakeland. I have three small dogs of my own, who are like my kids. I’m home most of the time so your pet will rarely be unsupervised but when I do need to leave the house, I have steps and protocols in place to assure your pet's safety while I am away. I have a 6ft privacy fenced back yard. All lawn care items are locked away in a shed to lessen the risk of your pet getting into anything potentially toxic. About: Dogs have been a part of my life for most of my life. My first dog was our family’s black Lab, Nya. Then I got my own dog, Henry, a Jack Russell Terrier mix who was by my side for 12 wonderful years. As Henry got older, he experienced a variety of health issues, so I became very comfortable administering medication, including oral medications and eye drops. I’m also familiar with caring for dogs who require a specific diet and a little extra patience and attention. I recently had to say goodbye to Henry, and while I’m not quite ready to welcome another dog of my own, I deeply miss the companionship and joy that comes with having a furry friend around. About: I have owned dogs since was 9/10 years-old, and enjoy playing with dogs and love keeping them occupied espically puppies. For puppies, I like to help potty-train them by offering treats to understand that "outside is where we use the bathroom not inside". I also pay really close attention to due to possible getting into things. I watch out for things that could possibly hurt your dog. As a dog owener myself I will treat your dog as if it was my own dog at home, giving all the attention and play time there hearts desire. I’m currently not working so I am available during select times. About: I grew up in a house hold where we always had some sort of four legged critters. From breeding to part of the family. I prefer four legged companion than 2. It's therapeutic to just chill with someone who just wants to be loved and played with. I've relocated to be closer to my mom. So I'm looking for work to pay my bills. I’m happy to help with walks, feeding, playtime, and keeping your pets company while you’re away. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they feel safe and comfortable :) I’m a student at UCF with a flexible schedule outside of classes. I’m available for walks, drop ins, and house sitting, and I’ll have plenty of time to give your pets attention and care. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m happy to follow their normal routine and your instructions, and I’ll keep you updated with how they’re doing!
About: I’ve walked dogs around my neighborhood for the past four years. I have lots of experience with animals— I personally have many different animals such as dogs, cats, and others! I’ve had experience in the veterinary field and want to pursue the veterinary field and become a licensed veterinarian! I am free for whenever is needed! I am hoping to head over to college soon but in the mean time work up some cash! I have been walking dogs around my own neighborhood around four years now. I treat the animals week, in which they are safe and happy!

From horses to parrots to cats and dogs of every size, I've never known life without them and it is such an privilege to care for them.
