He did a great job entertaining both of our dogs at the same time and loving them equally. They have different foods, and he was able to take care of each of them as they needed to be taken care of. He absolutely did a great job letting us know how our babies were doing even within a couple hours of dropping them off, and letting us see that they were getting the love and attention they needed. “We moved to New Albany this past Summer and left our most favorite pet sitter behind in Missouri. When we were traveling this Fall, we hit up Rover again hoping to find another great fit … and we hit the jackpot! Amber is a prize. We chose to reach out as Amber works as a veterinary assistant and has a wide skillset for caring for animals. It was important to us, just in case one of our fur-babies needs medications or special care in the future (or, if there was an emergency). We were very impressed with her maturity and kind demeanor. It is apparent from our few conversations, Amber is a lovely human being, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. She took to our kitties right away, and our cat who NEVER comes out for pet sitters made an appearance on day #3. Amber went above and beyond and photo-documented her visits in detail. She kept excellent tabs on what was happening around meals, litter boxes, and the like. When she was running about 15 minutes late, she sent us a text letting us know what was happening (we weren't worried). We returned home to 3 happy healthy kitties. About: When I was 12 a stray Tom adopted us. My mother and I would bandage him after his escapades. I have since then taken care of feral cats and helped get them spayed and neutered. Currently own 3 dogs, one is a 6 year old pit bull, the others are a 3 year old lab and a 6m old corgi. I am studyinging to get my ADT for dog training, I can offer some training in leash walking, manners and a few comands now but hope to expand that in the future. I was a vet tech for 5 years and am finally a stay at home fur mama to my 5 babies!!!! 💖 I have a golden retriever named Oliver, a shih-tzu named Flynn Rider, and my three sweet cats Tommy, Ghost and Boo mamas! I throw my babies a party every month they are older, my home is covered in hair and love and that sums up my whole life! Whatever you request I will provide so your baby feels comfortable and happy during visits. I am a lover of all animals, my furbabies get along very well with other animals, your fur-babies are safe with me! Unfortunately I am not accepting any oversight boarding as my one cat Ghost gets blocked by stress in his environment, so doing all I can now to still provide excellent service during visits and walks for your fur babies! About: Firstly, I will listen to your pet's needs that you have, and follow them accordingly. Secondly, I will play with your babies and pay attention to them, with love and affection. I will walk with them around the Lake's, and engage them, by talking to them, so that they know they are loved by me. Thirdly, I do like to play catch and engage them in different games, so their time away from you will fly by for them. Lastly, I am not trained in the Heimlich for dogs, nor CPR, but I have had to do the Heimlich on my own dog, whom was choking on food, to save her life. I look forward to playing with your babies. She cares so much about my pups and always makes sure they get to go potty and play at the park on her visits. She also provided additional information about the other dogs she cared for during the time we would leave Koa with her. She sent pics almost every day to provide updates on how he was doing.
