“What a wonderful experience my dog Izzy had with Marcy! Izzy is a 7 lb Morkie that is terrified of other dogs. The bigger the dog, the louder the dog, the more terrified she is, which makes boarding her difficult. Izzy had a great time playing with Marcy’s 5 lb. Betty Boo, so it was a great social experience for my dog. Marcy also is terrific - I knew my dog was getting the best of care in my absence, and all for a reasonable price. About: I have had a big passion for animals since childhood. I grew up with many animals and always dreamed of working with animals. I graduated from university with an associate in veterinary technician. I been working for several years in veterinary medicine and doggy daycare i really have fun and enjoy all my time with them. About: I have fostered for the SPCA since I was 12 and have owned pets my entire life. I have a passionate love for animals and recently discovered a new passion for pet sitting! After adopting several special needs pets who would otherwise have difficulty finding a forever home (the last two passed away last year), I found myself wanting to adopt every animal I fostered. knowing that wasn’t realistic, I realized pet sitting might be better outlet for me to direct my love for animals (Without the pain of not knowing if the pet I fostered would eventually find a loving home). And I have loved hosting happy pets ever since! My children are now in college, and after losing my precious older dog and cat a couple years ago, I now only have one cat we rescued during a storm. My ultimate goal is for both you and your pet to be comfortable and have peace of mind before and during the time you are away, and I strive to love and entertain them so much that they feel at home (or on vacation) until you come back for them. I work from home, allowing me to be available for your pet at almost all times - which is especially helpful with puppies/kittens, older, or disabled pets that need to be closely watched. (I have many years experience with disabled, sick or elderly pets). I am experienced with giving both oral and injected meds, expressions, helping them eat, exercise, etc. Because I only pet sit one animal family at a time, I am able to adjust to your pet(s) schedule. Whatever makes him/her most comfortable! I take the trust and safety of pets very seriously, only keeping one pet (or family of pets) at a time. I also document a daily diary of their experiences, and send pictures on a daily basis (unless requested otherwise). You can review the daily diary document (as well as information I prefer to obtain before pet sitting), in my photos section. This document includes the preferred vet and emergency center I utilize, although I am happy to contact your preferred vet if provided to me. I also have multiple friends who are veterinarians, and I never hesitate to contact them if I am at all concerned about any pet in my care. I prefer dogs be crate trained if they are young and active, but while I have a large double-sized crate, it is only used if we are all gone for a short time (for the dog’s safety and comfort). The rest of the time pets are welcome on the bed to sleep with us, on furniture, etc. If there is a reason the dog can’t be crated, please discuss it with me and we can come up with safest and best plan for your pet! I also have a room set up for pets in case they want to be alone or have quiet time. It is also helpful if you bring a blanket from home, so s/he is comforted by the familiar smells of you and their loving home!

She is prompt in response to any communication about their visits or changes in my work schedule, adjusts her schedule when possible to take them out earlier or later, and is easy to communicate with. She’s been overly helpful today especially when I forgot to put the lock box on my door on the way out and had a full schedule at work, she even stopped by to get the key where otherwise my puppies would have been stuck with no potty or exercise breaks for hours. About: Dogs have been a part of my life for most of my life. My first dog was our family’s black Lab, Nya. Then I got my own dog, Henry, a Jack Russell Terrier mix who was by my side for 12 wonderful years. As Henry got older, he experienced a variety of health issues, so I became very comfortable administering medication, including oral medications and eye drops. I’m also familiar with caring for dogs who require a specific diet and a little extra patience and attention. About: I have owned dogs since was 9/10 years-old, and enjoy playing with dogs and love keeping them occupied espically puppies. For puppies, I like to help potty-train them by offering treats to understand that "outside is where we use the bathroom not inside". I also pay really close attention to due to possible getting into things. I watch out for things that could possibly hurt your dog. As a dog owener myself I will treat your dog as if it was my own dog at home, giving all the attention and play time there hearts desire. I’m currently not working so I am available during select times. I also know what it is like to need a caregiver for your pets while you are away on a business trip or just a quick get away from reality. I live in an apartment complex where everyone keeps to themselves but as for any home I would treat it as if it were my home and how I would want to make sure things are in the right place

About: I grew up always having pets, as an adult when I didn’t have the circumstances to have my own pet, I started watching pets for all my friends. Bunnies, Dogs of all breeds, cats and more, I have watched and played with them all. I work for myself, for the most part from home, and I always love having a walking partner. Most of my work is very early in the morning or in the evening leaving me open most of the day for walks and playtime. I have a backyard, it is not completely fenced in but there is some nice grass. The house is pet ready with no choking hazards and laminate easy to clean flooring.
