I have experience with puppies to elder dogs and give medication if needed. Routine schedules, play time and potty schedule is ideal. I'm a helicopter dog owner, my dogs are spoiled rotten and I rarely let them out of my care unless my normal dog sitter of 10 years can watch them. Due to her life changes, I found myself without a dog sitter and 2 days to find someone else so I took a shot on Rover and with Cherisse. We had a birth in the family we wanted to be at and knowing my three dogs were so well taken care of and comfortable with Cherisse helped us not stress about them and we were fully present with our family. “We moved to New Albany this past Summer and left our most favorite pet sitter behind in Missouri. When we were traveling this Fall, we hit up Rover again hoping to find another great fit … and we hit the jackpot! Amber is a prize. We chose to reach out as Amber works as a veterinary assistant and has a wide skillset for caring for animals. It was important to us, just in case one of our fur-babies needs medications or special care in the future (or, if there was an emergency). We were very impressed with her maturity and kind demeanor. It is apparent from our few conversations, Amber is a lovely human being, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. She took to our kitties right away, and our cat who NEVER comes out for pet sitters made an appearance on day #3. Amber went above and beyond and photo-documented her visits in detail. She kept excellent tabs on what was happening around meals, litter boxes, and the like. When she was running about 15 minutes late, she sent us a text letting us know what was happening (we weren't worried). We returned home to 3 happy healthy kitties. About: I have had a big passion for animals since childhood. I grew up with many animals and always dreamed of working with animals. I graduated from university with an associate in veterinary technician. I been working for several years in veterinary medicine and doggy daycare i really have fun and enjoy all my time with them. I work full time but I am remote, so taking time during the day is no problem in addition to availability in the mornings and evenings. I’m happy to provide care in your home, where pets are most comfortable and can stick to their normal routines. Whether that includes feeding, walks, playtime, medications, or just companionship, I’m committed to making your time away stress-free for both you and your pets. I’m very respectful of your space and privacy, and I also provide updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. I’m also happy to help with small extras like bringing in mail or watering plants.

About: Firstly, I will listen to your pet's needs that you have, and follow them accordingly. Secondly, I will play with your babies and pay attention to them, with love and affection. I will walk with them around the Lake's, and engage them, by talking to them, so that they know they are loved by me. Thirdly, I do like to play catch and engage them in different games, so their time away from you will fly by for them. Lastly, I am not trained in the Heimlich for dogs, nor CPR, but I have had to do the Heimlich on my own dog, whom was choking on food, to save her life. I look forward to playing with your babies. About: Grew up with dogs (dachshunds, German Shepard, mutts) . Have 3 grand dogs (Quinn & Archie, Jack Russells, Maggie tree hound), who I love spending time with back in Massachusetts. Unfortunately we recently lost Quinn due to age and illness. I know he is waiting at the Rainbow bridge for us along with Sasha, Truffles, Harry, Solo, Skippy, Maestra, Toi, Chichi, Heathcliff and the other birds, turtle, goldfish that I loved in the past. About: I worked at an animal shelter for a 4 years- fostering litters of puppies and older dogs at my home. I’m currently studying Animal Behavior and am a Certified Vet Assistant. I have 2 friendly active dogs of my own as well! I currently work at a dog training/boarding facility so I have experience with all breeds from all types of backgrounds :) I’m currently a part-time student and part time employee at a boarding facility. I go on runs, walks and hikes and would love to bring your pet for a stroll. I am also able to just hang out and spend quality time with your pup or cat if they have separation anxiety. I have a fenced yard and pool. If your animal needs to be kenneled, a crate will need to be provided. Three people in total live in my household, so someone will always be present to keep an eye on everything. Feeding will be done separate as a safety precaution and playtimes with my personal dogs will be monitored. I treat every animal as though they are my own; furbabies are exactly as the name suggests- babies!!

About: I am an animal lover who’s enjoys playing and cuddling with all the fur babies. I’m open to meeting the individual needs of every animal I care for! I have experience with puppies to elder dogs and give medication if needed. Routine schedules, play time and potty schedule is ideal. I'm a helicopter dog owner, my dogs are spoiled rotten and I rarely let them out of my care unless my normal dog sitter of 10 years can watch them.
