It was Koa’s first time ever with a sitter, and we were nervous because it was 9 days, but Angie was welcoming during the meet and greet, and explained about how she would care for him. She also provided additional information about the other dogs she cared for during the time we would leave Koa with her. She sent pics almost every day to provide updates on how he was doing. We are so grateful for the amazing care that Koa received from Angie. He was a happy pup, which made us happy, too!”

“What a wonderful experience my dog Izzy had with Marcy! Izzy is a 7 lb Morkie that is terrified of other dogs. The bigger the dog, the louder the dog, the more terrified she is, which makes boarding her difficult. Izzy had a great time playing with Marcy’s 5 lb. Betty Boo, so it was a great social experience for my dog. Marcy also is terrific - I knew my dog was getting the best of care in my absence, and all for a reasonable price. I work from home, allowing me to be available for your pet at almost all times - which is especially helpful with puppies/kittens, older, or disabled pets that need to be closely watched. I am experienced with giving both oral and injected meds, expressions, helping them eat, exercise, etc. Because I only pet sit one animal family at a time, I am able to adjust to your pet(s) schedule. Whatever makes him/her most comfortable! I take the trust and safety of pets very seriously, only keeping one pet (or family of pets) at a time. I also document a daily diary of their experiences, and send pictures on a daily basis (unless requested otherwise). You can review the daily diary document (as well as information I prefer to obtain before pet sitting), in my photos section. This document includes the preferred vet and emergency center I utilize, although I am happy to contact your preferred vet if provided to me. I also have multiple friends who are veterinarians, and I never hesitate to contact them if I am at all concerned about any pet in my care. I prefer dogs be crate trained if they are young and active, but while I have a large double-sized crate, it is only used if we are all gone for a short time (for the dog’s safety and comfort). The rest of the time pets are welcome on the bed to sleep with us, on furniture, etc. If there is a reason the dog can’t be crated, please discuss it with me and we can come up with safest and best plan for your pet! I also have a room set up for pets in case they want to be alone or have quiet time. It is also helpful if you bring a blanket from home, so s/he is comforted by the familiar smells of you and their loving home!

We were very quickly put as easy with Karla's amazing, calm and caring nature and obvious genuine love of animals. About: I have always had an admiration for animals no matter the type. But for some reason the love that you get in return from a dog is just indescribable. I know that it is always a weary feeling to leave your babies in the care of someone else. But it definitely helps to know that the person caring for your pet shares the same passion that you do. I never thought that I would own small dogs but I am actually glad that I do have two Chihuahuas now because I can take them almost anywhere! There has been an occasional weekend trip where I haven't been able to bring the pups along and it just didn't feel the same having to leave them behind. So if you have to leave them, leave them with someone who will care for them just as well as their own! I definitely prioritize my pets before any plans are made! No matter the time of day, week or year. They are my fur babies and anyone that knows me will agree! Depending on the environment or location, I would definitely say to use a leash first and foremost. I would also like to know if you know about the other animals in the area, just to provide as much safety as possible.

About: I picked up bride and grooms dogs from their homes and brought them to their weddings to get in the photos and ceremony while making sure the dog was taken care of and under control then brought back home. I work a rotating schedule so every week I have different availability, but I always have mornings off so I can cover any morning any time. Flexible and communicative. I’m currently studying Animal Behavior & Digital Cinematography through online classes; I am a Certified Vet Assistant. I have 2 friendly active dogs of my own as well! I currently work at a rescue part-time, so I have experience with all breeds from all types of backgrounds! From anxious dogs to the high energy goofball’s I can handle it. I’m currently a part-time student and part time employee at a boarding facility. I go on runs, walks and hikes and would love to bring your pet for a stroll. I am also able to just hang out and spend quality time with your pup or cat if they have separation anxiety. I have a fenced yard and pool. If your animal needs to be kenneled, a crate will need to be provided. Three people in total live in my household, so someone will always be present to keep an eye on everything. Feeding will be done separate as a safety precaution and playtimes with my personal dogs will be monitored. I treat every animal as though they are my own; furbabies are exactly as the name suggests- babies!!
