“Yamille was a life-saver for us! We had planned to take our Havapoo fur baby with us on our trip, but at the last minute found out we could not take her. When I reached out to Yamille, she responded immediately. We exchanged messages back and forth and had a "meet and greet" via Facetime the next day. Yamille was so sweet to our little Salter and was very accommodating to our requests throughout the week that she cared for Salter. She took her harness off occasionally to brush her and also sent pics/videos. I believe Salter had a GREAT time with Yamille, her son, her pup and other pup friends. We flew home to NC later that day and Salter slept the entire journey - a sign that she had lots of playtime, snuggles and belly rubs from Yamille. About: While I've not had cats in my own home, I have cared for many clients' cats over the past 20+ years. Clients have trusted me come check in, feed and play with their kitties while they enjoy time out of town. About: I am a dog owner for the last 7 years (female rescue, 50lbs, lab/retriever.) Before her, I had cats my whole life. My pup is a part of my family and I would treat yours with the same care and compassion. I work from home, live in a duplex and I have a backyard that is mostly fenced (your dog would stay on a leash back there), and I live right next to Dreher Park where we could go for walks 1-2 times/day. Let's do a meet and greet! I work full time from home, and have lots of flexibility for walks and pets. In the evening, we take walks in Dreher Park right next door. Life is quiet around here. About: Ive trained my own dog since he was a puppy without assistance from trainers or family for the last 6 years, i also have plenty of experience being around large dogs such as german shepards or great danes, and helping friends by taking care of their pets Im free to be scheduled anytime, i typically keep my days free doing small odd jobs so im always available even for long stretches of time Within my own home i typically keep food readily available in case my dog is hungry due to his high activity nature. When caring for pets in my home or my client's home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. I provide fresh food and water, regular walks, playtime, exercise, and plenty of love and attention. I keep their living area clean, make sure they are safe at all times, and can give medications if needed. I also send regular updates with photos so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for.
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up on a farm, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I’ve raised and puppy-trained dogs, have experience with exotic animals, and understand that every pet is different. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. My schedule gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care. I’m free all day Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Tuesdays and Fridays, I only work a short evening shift, and on weekends I work until about 4:30pm. That leaves me with lots of time to make sure your pet gets the attention, walks, and care they need. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. My apartment community has a fenced dog park for safe outdoor play, along with plenty of sidewalks and green spaces for walks. While my apartment is on the smaller side, your pet will have lots of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and one on attention during their stay.
