About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I’ve had them all growing up. I like going on walks or jogs with the dogs or keeping the cats area clean. I’m a tech at the hospital so my schedule varies sometimes but I will always update based on my schedule. I can take pets on walks after or before shift (7a-7p) Very careful about dogs and leashes especially if there are no fences. I like brushing dogs and making sure cats boxes stay clean. Making sure hey have food and water is important.

About: I grew up with all types of dogs and animals! While growing up on a farm and family property. Now I foster amazing dogs for Lowndes county humane society when I can! I have a pool that dogs are welcome to get it! My dogs love it as well as fans outside! Your dogs will come back home spoiled! I try my best a very flexible schedule; on some weekdays but I mostly do weekends and some holidays I’m in town! So pet care for me does not really affect my routine, it makes it so much better!! About: I LOVE ANIMALS! Growing up my family has always had animals. We currently have 2 dogs of our own. They are both very friendly. I love taking dogs on walks, to the dog park and making sure they get out and active! I make sure to always add in time to take our dogs for a walk or the dog park, or some other type of exercise. If we are gone long we have someone who comes and lets our dogs out of the house so they are not inside for too long. Our dogs are like our kids, they get their regular meals with treats, they have rules that they need to follow based on what me and my husband have agreed too.
“Ok, so, I held off on writing this review for a while until I processed and let me dog heal. Now that I have, I think it’s important everyone knows the kind of person Kira is. My dog, Winnie, was attacked by another dog while in Kira's care, and the way they handled the situation was nothing short of exemplary. Kira responded quickly and calmly, ensuring Winnie received immediate attention and the necessary medical care. She kept me informed every step of the way, which greatly eased my anxiety during such a stressful time. (For the record, Winnie was attacked by an aggressive dog at the WWC dog park which I gave permission for her to go to, so it was not her fault. The owners of the dog also ran away so they could not be held responsible.) Despite the trauma, Winnie was happy and well-cared for when I picked her up. It's clear that Kira genuinely loves animals and is dedicated to their well-being. Winnie had surgery the next day because the other dog ripped her gums from her jaw. She got 15 stitches but has recovered so well and is going great! Kira has checked in several times to see how Winnie’s doing. If you're looking for a responsible, compassionate, and reliable dog sitter, look no further. She truly cares about the pets they look after, and I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional care they provided to Winnie during such a stressful day. I can’t imagine how it would’ve gone if her sitter was someone less caring.”
About: Hi! I’ve been raising my 6-year-old male Husky since he was a 3-month-old puppy, so I understand structure, training consistency, and high-energy personalities. We also care for our 16-year-old female Toy Poodle. Senior care has taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to manage age-related changes with calm and routine. I personally handle bathing, brushing, nail trimming, and grooming for both dogs. Our home has a secure backyard with a dog door for safe bathroom access, and daily walks are part of our routine. About: To me, animals are the most innocent companions we have. They deserve to feel safe, understood, and loved. While I’m not a vet, I bring a deep sense of empathy and a lifelong passion for animals to every interaction. Whether it’s giving meds to a senior dog, helping a disabled pet navigate their day, or handling exotic pets with confidence, I bring calm energy and a strong sense of responsibility to every pet I care for. I work 6:30am - 3pm in Lake City, Monday-Friday. So I can do one Lake City trip and one trip in Jasper or Live Oak Monday - Friday. I am free more on the weekends so I can do at least two drop ins on the weekends if needed. I do not care for pets in my own home. But I am trustworthy and believe that an animal should be left in the environment that they are most familiar with. Removing them from their environment to a strangers will cause too much stress so I am not an advocate of bringing animals to my house. As far as my routine, once I get a new client, I will want to meet the new client and their fur child before they leave for their designated trip. It’s SO IMPORTANT they see me interact with their owner and know that I’m not a threat especially in their own environment. This creates trust and builds a bond between myself and the animal. (Cats can be territorial too! I’ve seen them attack intruders. Don’t underestimate them.) Keeping to routine and treats go a long way are my two general rule of thumb. Animals aren’t human and they don’t like a lot of change so continuing the same routine as their owner is important as fat meal times or cleaning out litter boxes. Not to mention giving them treats after every visit lets them be excited for you to come AND leave.
