Jordan arrived on time dressed both professionally and appropriately for a first meeting and walk with a high energy dog. She took the time to introduce herself, meet and bond with Moose, and was very easy to get along with and knowledgeable about not only working dogs but also the Rover program itself. She spent time in the back yard playing fetch with him (he tends to make you feel like you’re an automatic tennis ball thrower) and then took him for a nice walk. I am consistently dog sitting for my grandmother who has 2 dogs and one of them has a serious condition. So, taking care of her is more involved. It includes giving her medication multiple a days, helping her get up on things and sometimes hand feeding her when she needs a little more help. I’m also experienced in watching senior dogs; I have taken care of my aunts 10 year old Chihuahua on multiple occasions. When it comes to breeds, I have a wide range of experience. I have cared for chihuahuas, “teddy bears” (small dogs), pitt bulls and Rottweilers. My schedule right now is completely free. I would be available all days of the week and weekends. I am available at any time of the day! My pets are very spoiled and cared for. They get treats throughout the day and plenty of outside time! Fresh water and food always! I take my dog on daily walks around the neighborhood and he also goes to visit my grandmother’s dogs often.
About: I’ve cared for a variety of animals. I’ve lived on a farm for as long as I can remember. I have multiple friends and family who relying on me to care for their animals. I am a college student and work at a restaurant with flexible hours. This allows me to have time to walk and feed in between work My home is pet friendly with plenty of room for playing in the yield. Walks and drop ins before 8am and after 5pm are often attended by Gabrielle, while housesits are generally carried out by Mary due to Gabrielle’s full time position. Boarding care is handled by both parties. Most messages are responded to by Mary. Mary does have a standing M-F 3 hour babysitting gig from 1-4, though it often ends early. We try to be flexible and accept most bookings, including emergency last minute bookings. We offer a number of services; however, we do not accepts pets from more than one family at a time during boardings so that we can ensure the utmost attention, care and safety of your furry friends. We live in a large townhouse with a fully fenced backyard, 3 cats who keep mostly to themselves but may befriend gentler dogs and a 6 month old puppy who is generally well behaved and in training. We have no children or other people living in the home. We can create separated spaces if necessary, while still ensuring your furry friend gets the care and attention they deserve, while in a comfortable space for them. Mary is dog and cat CPR/First Aid certified through the American Red Cross. We have experience with animals who have special dietary, medication and medical related needs.
