About: Hello! My name is Lindsay and I’ve been working with rescues around Jacksonville for the past 20 years. I started at humane society and worked with a few locals rescues since and have been around all kinds of dogs and temperaments. I am beginning my dog walking and check in business and will expand to dog boarding for special dogs that can’t always go to traditional Boarding. I understand a lot of dogs have special needs from anxiety, not being friendly with other dogs, fears of storms and fireworks, and even medication treatments. I have personally fostered hundreds of dogs from puppies to moms to seniors and am acutely aware that sometimes a walk or check in is a bit more. I understand the guilt of a dog parent not being able to check in on their babies or give them enough time during the work week and I’m here to help with that. I look forward to creating a consistent client base of wonderful dog families that may be overlooked or unable to be cared for by the standard walker. I am happy to take your dog to parks to socialize safely, handle vet appointments better than your husband or even just reassure you that you are doing your best as a pet parent. While not yet training certified, I have completed training with several trainers and fosters and can help with the basics and/or continue your style of training for additional reinforcement. Above all your dogs happiness and health is the most important. And a happy dog is much better at home to help you with your stress too 🥰 I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies and becoming someone you can rely on when needed. I will not use shock collars or prong collars for walking. For safety reasons I will not use retractable leashes either. I have plenty of spare harnesses and leashes for walking if needed. I also believe creating a bond of trust and leadership with your dogs is important. I ensure your pet doesn’t get overheated and takes breaks as needed. Weather is funny in Florida and I will make sure you pet can walk, potty and play safely.

About: I do not currently have a dog, but I have lived with plenty of dogs in the past! Some roommates had dogs. My most notable experience is with my mothers' 6yr old Goldendoodle, whom I no longer live with. She is a burst of energy, and well-mannered. I visit her to walk/play, take her on trips, and visit dog parks. I would love to meet your doggos and provide care during the week/weekends, or extended pet-sitting services! I am currently unemployed and looking to make this my full-time job! I am available always! A good timeframe for me is 8am-8pm, but I am willing to work outside these hours if needed! DOGS: I can do boarding, I own a home near Murray Hill, with a fenced backyard! I know lots of great walking spots & dog parks! I can also arrange play-dates with other dogs to keep them company during their stay, or in general! My cats are great with dogs, but I can keep them separate if needed. I can also come to you for feeding/playtime/walks/park days! CATS: I can board up to 2 individual cats in separate rooms within my home, (or 2 cats from same home in one room, etc.). For now, I'd like to avoid boarding cats freely throughout my home, as one of mine can be picky, and I would not want to cause additional stress for your kitty(ies)! But, I can set them up in their own room and check on them throughout the day, and/or let them roam while mine are separate. I can also come to you for feeding/playtime!

About: I have two cats at home; A 15yr old Maine Coon - blind (so I have experience with disabled pets!!) he's super smart, & gentle. My other is a 3yr old Tabby - she's very talkative, playful & mischievous. I have also lived with many cats in the past which were not my own, and have owned cats prior to my 15yr old. As a quick note; I have unfortunately been victim to a brutal cat attack from a previous roommates pet, so I must mention my preference for cat-sitting spayed/neutered cats only, with no history of aggression. I take care of dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, and farm animals. I have vet medical experience and can handle whatever you need for your pet. About: Cherie was a vet tech in Atlanta for 18 years and a part time professional dog walker for 10 years. While in college, Cherie worked at Disney before eventually landing at SeaWorld, where she first met her now wife, Candace. During her college years, Cherie developed a love for birds, amphibians, and maintaining fish aquariums. In 1998, Cherie moved to Atlanta and began her vet tech career for a well known local Veterinary Clinic. Her best friend owns a dog walking company in Atlanta, which Cherie helped to establish. Additionally, during her time in Atlanta, Cherie also volunteered at a Guinea Pig Rescue and was a foster fail many times over! Candace owns her own business and she works from home everyday. Almost always, it will be Candace who is responding to messages and is at home during the daytime hours! Candace formally worked in the pet industry. She is a pet nutrition specialist and a walking encyclopedia in regards to various animal facts! Candace has been a foster fail many times over as well. She has been involved in many rescue groups throughout the Central Florida area. We just moved to Jacksonville from Orlando to be closer to family. We actually delayed the moved for a few years because we could not leave all of the dogs & pet parents that had become a part of our family. We still have some families that make the drive to drop their babies off with us. We have a good neighborhood with sidewalks for taking strolls. We also have a large fenced in back yard. We have experience for special needs cases. We are able to administer medications and subcutaneous injections. We are well versed in dog nutrition for those pups with sensitivities. Together, we share our love with 1 Chihuaua, 1 Yorkie, 1 Cockatoo, lots of amphibians, and many, many reptiles. Since changing careers, I've missed meeting so many new dogs and would love to meet and care for your baby or babies! The more the merrier! Candace works from home, so she gets to spend all day with the pups! You never know, she might even hire them to work for her! Someone is always home with your pet, so whatever your pet needs can easily be accommodated. Any pet that comes to us is treated like our own. They can sleep in the bed with us if that's allowed and they can go on any of the furniture. However, we do like to keep your routine if that what you wish. We know how hard it is to trust someone with your babies, we are the same way! Our dogs like to lay around all day and sleep. They are very low energy, except for random outbursts. However, that doesn't stop them from being friends with other dogs of varying energy. They won't play with your dog, but they certainly will smell some butts!
About: As a toddler until I was 10, we had dacshaunds. I loved them so but when you discover them after they have passed, it leaves an impression on you. This type of impression has led a part of my life to educating, advocating, and nursing but a dog owner, I won't become. I've lived with the problem Doberman-Rottweilers, smaller schnauzers, cutesy Italian Greyhound AND I pet most every pup I see (with permission, of course). I've had and have cats, from 2 months to 24 years old. I would love to visit and care for the cats and dogs if my community. Reach out! I'd love to meet your pet baby. I work virtually 4 days a week and have a lot of flexibility. This allows me the ability to watch pets, and care for my own. I have 4 indoor cats and a myriad of outdoor cats. I play with them, feed them and provide then with their favorite snacks: Churus. Cleaning up the box during each visit is a given considering cats need a neat space. For dogs, I would make sure to have bags to get their waste and keep snacks to make sure their given something for good behavior.
About: I have fostered cats and kittens for approximately ten years, and know the commitment, awareness, and love it takes to connect with animals of all personality types. I have two cats of my own that were foster-fails, so I am very well versed in the needs of all different kinds of cats, and I will apply the same loving care and attention I provide to my own to your pets. I am extremely aware and will always focus on the safety of your pet. I grew up with two dogs as well, and have plenty of personal experience caring for dogs. About: Hello! My name is Lindsay and I’ve been working with rescues around Jacksonville for the past 20 years. I started at humane society and worked with a few locals rescues since and have been around all kinds of dogs and temperaments. I am beginning my dog walking and check in business and will expand to dog boarding for special dogs that can’t always go to traditional Boarding. I understand a lot of dogs have special needs from anxiety, not being friendly with other dogs, fears of storms and fireworks, and even medication treatments. I have personally fostered hundreds of dogs from puppies to moms to seniors and am acutely aware that sometimes a walk or check in is a bit more. I understand the guilt of a dog parent not being able to check in on their babies or give them enough time during the work week and I’m here to help with that. I look forward to creating a consistent client base of wonderful dog families that may be overlooked or unable to be cared for by the standard walker. I am happy to take your dog to parks to socialize safely, handle vet appointments better than your husband or even just reassure you that you are doing your best as a pet parent. While not yet training certified, I have completed training with several trainers and fosters and can help with the basics and/or continue your style of training for additional reinforcement. I also believe creating a bond of trust and leadership with your dogs is important. I ensure your pet doesn’t get overheated and takes breaks as needed. Weather is funny in Florida and I will make sure you pet can walk, potty and play safely.
