About: Since I was ten I’ve had a cat in my house, and from the second I met her cats were my new favorite. Since then I have gotten another cat who, unfortunately, had to get a leg amputated. He finds his way around, and I have gained valuable experience with cats with disabilities through that. I also have learned what it takes to care for cats in veterinary medicine as a veterinary technicians assistant. I got to work closely with cats for regular appointments, lodging stays, and prepping for procedures. I’ve done personal dog-sitting on and off for a few years for some friends and family and I’ve always really enjoyed it. I did Rover a few years ago and loved it, but life got a bit crazy so I had to pause it. I was still able to consistently dogsit for some repeat customers these last few years, and now my wife Linsey joins me in that! Your dog can expect walks at the park or in our neighborhood and for my home to be their home. If your dog likes play dates, my Rover friends would certainly be about it! My normal job is pretty flexible on where I can work, so if your dog needs extra attention, working from home is totally doable. Between me and Linsey, at least one of us is always home. I’ve done Rover on and off for the last 8 years, and have really enjoyed it! My job is super flexible, with set hours only 2 nights a week and once during the day. I’m mostly working from home or at coffee shops, so it’s super easy to stay home with a dog. Between me and my wife, someone can pretty much always be with your pet. Our home is your dog’s home. If they want to go on the couch or follow us around, by all mean. If they like their space, I’ll give them space. Many dogs have taken a snooze on our couch, legs in the air.

Very professional, reminded me i needed poop bags (just moved into a new neighborhood), and knew just how to handle our dogs untrained behavior. Poor Seven got pooped about 15 min in and Steven even just carried him home. We have fallen in love and DEFINITELY will be using Steven again!”
About: I have cared for countless litters of newborn puppies, ensuring they are alive and thriving. I have been helping my family with this since I was about 7 years old. I am comfortable and confident with delivering any needed vitamins or medications on time, not squeamish at all, and super loving with these sweet creatures. I know how to act if any aggression arises with the animals as well. I am currently in school for 4-5 hours per weekday, excluding Fridays. While pet sitting, I try to be home as much as possible outside of school hours. I provide a safe area for pets so they are comfortable and free to move around, with lots of outdoor time. If the weather is nice, we may spend extended time together outside in my fenced in backyard. At a clients home, I will respect the home and care for the pets in the same way the client would in that space.
