A few of the protocols I have in place when your pup boards with me include, but are not limited to: regular photo and video updates, testimonials and reviews from previous clients, and passing my Rover background. For your pet’s safety, I am always physically present when they are outside to help prevent any potential escapes or elopements. I also have cameras on the property to monitor the surroundings, and I keep the contact information and locations of nearby veterinarians and animal hospitals readily available in case of an emergency.
“My pup, bandit, had a great time. I scheduled a day care for Tuesday and Thursday. On Thursday, as soon as I pulled into the drive way, Bandit got really excited. Jerome sent pictures both days and updates, he even fed him dinner which wasn’t necessary since I plan on feeding him when he got him but it was super kind of him!! Bandit is a high energy dog and when he got home all he did was sleep which is great! I would definitely recommend Jerome and I would use him again. I give my own dog medication for her allergies and can do the same for your own. I never leave outdoor play unattended as I do have a pool. About: I have worked as a volunteer vet tech , 2 different boarding facilities, and have been a dog groomer since 2019. I love all dogs and and enjoy working with them daily I’m currently part time only work 3 days a week so I have weekends to spare and a few days during the week . Normally, Fozzie is ready to leave wherever he is and doesn't speak to me. He actually ignores me until we get into the car. Her big brown lab was a sweet heart and her cats let Fozzie sniff them, too. Adriana, welcomed me all the way inside her home. The living room was set up for a place for pets to lay & relax; there were multiple cushions on the floor. Her back yard is fenced with ample room for running & playing, with a good size pool for pup swimming. When I came in to pick him up, she didn't rush me out. I bonded with the big guy with lots of rubbing & scratching; Fozzie wasn't his usual jealous self, getting between me and the pet I was petting. This was a very unique experience; it was great. Anytime we are in Jacksonville, FL, I know where Fozzie is going.”

About: I grew up surrounded by animals on my Granny’s farm, so caring for pets has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. In my own home, we had three dogs and four cats, and animals were never just pets, they were family. My mom was a veterinary technician for 15 years, and she regularly brought home injured or recovering animals that needed rehabilitation. “Shannon was super flexible with the times I needed and even allowed me to bring over pongos items the day before! She sent pictures the entire time of his stay which really put my mind at ease! She also has 2 other dogs that Pongo got to run around with while he was there. I know he had a blast and Shannon was phenomenal! She will be my go to for any over night stays!”

Brooke was very attentive and kept me updated throughout their stay, sending pictures every day and letting me know how they were eating and doing. I really appreciated the communication and knowing that they were being well cared for. When they came home, they were completely worn out, which tells me they had a wonderful time! “This was the first time I’ve used a Rover to care for my dog Oaklie. Brenda, the rover, was absolutely fantastic. She took fabulous care of Oaklie taking him on walks, playing with him and cuddling with him. He really enjoyed her fenced in yard as well. He also got along very nicely with her dog and her daughter. She kept me informed of how Oaklie was doing each day. She sent me numerous pictures and I could see how happy he was. Brenda was very trustworthy with him and took great care of him. I am definitely using her again.”

“Kelly & James are excellent!!! We had to travel urgently and found them just the previous day. Kelly takes time to understand your pet and their needs thoroughly. They looked after our pet very well and kept us updated with texts and pictures. Our pet is very anxious and takes time to get comfortable with new people but our pet did really well with Kelly & James. They are also very good at understanding each pet's temperament and managing them at the same time. They are passionate and genuinely care for the pets. Our pet enjoyed her stay at Kelly & James!!
