“This is the second week my babies stayed with Christian as I said in my first review she is great! Lots of communication and pictures. We were able to relax and enjoy our trip knowing my 2 babies were being spoiled and taken care of. We'll being using Christian in the future for another upcoming trip.”

“Madison is a sweet girl. We also met her mother who was a very nice lady. They took good care of our puppy for 2 days, we will definately use her again.”
“She was able to take my dog on short notice and took great care of him. She responded quickly to messages and kept me updated, which I really appreciated. Thank you!!”

“Dior loveed being with her and the family, she communicates well and takes pictures throughout the time she was there, we will be booking with her again immediately!!!”

“Rachel was awesome! Freyja had room to run and friends to run with, and I received photos updating me throughout her stay. She's my first choice when I have to go out of town for work.”

“Truly amazing. I reached out to Joseph and Reanalenna the day before a last minute trip and within an hour received a response. Throughout my pups stay i received consistent communication and updates to include pictures! My fur baby was not only well cared for but treated like one of their own.”

“Receiving daily updates and photos made me feel so at ease and truly showed how well my sweet boy was being cared for. It meant so much to see him happy and comfortable. So grateful for the love and attention he received and would absolutely trust them again!”

“Gabrielle is very nice. First she was very understanding about my arrival time as the traffic accidents in Georgia added hours to our ride to Florida. She was very attentive to my pets to make them feel at home during their stay. The looked wonderful when I picked them up. She did a great job caring for Barb and Lou.”

“Caroline and her mom Marilyn provided a comfortable and caring home-away-from-home for my sweet Leo. I was comforted and entertained by all the great photos Caroline took and forwarded while we were away, and it was evident that Leo was getting a lot of cuddling and ‘lap time,’ which was the main reason I chose to go with a pet sitter rather than a boarding kennel. Leo was so calm and content when we picked him up...I knew he had had a great time! Highly recommend! Thank you:)”

“Brenda was wonderful with my senior dog who needs a bit of extra care. My little one was comfortable and safe with her - and seemed very happy as well. My dog stayed at Brenda’s home. Brenda sent photos and text updates throughout the week. I highly recommend Brenda as a dog sitter!”

“My chihuahua and I haven't been a part in forever. When my family and I went on a one week trip, I knew I had to find the perfect dog sitter. My dog is picky and I was worried, but she was immediately comfortable at crystals house. She is so kind and attentive, and became best friends with my chihuahua. She was comfortable around everyone in the household and very well taken care of. Will certainly be using her services in the future and am beyond thankful for her and her family. Thank you SO much”

“Can't recommend Nuttawadee enough! She's watched our pup multiple times now and he's always so happy when she sends pictures of him! Highly recommend.”
“A great stay as always! Oliver was so happy to go stay with Sherrie and play with her pups! He knows where he is as soon as we pull up to her house and runs in without looking back! Thank you for loving on him as your own. 10/10 as always!”

“Kendra was great with our Rocket. Kept us updated on his days and sent pictures but didn't go overboard with it. I also appreciated her being flexible with the booking ours that needed to change at one point. Would definitely use again if she is available.”

“Our dog EeVee had a blast while staying with Carole & David for 3 days! She walked Ev, let her enjoy her sun bathing time outside securely, and safely socialized with neighbor pups. Most of all, Carole fed our pup with packed food, countless rubs and love :) She also updated us Ev’s daily photos and great communication. We couldn’t be happier with Carole taking care of our pup. Ev barely goes to boarding but we can tell she loves and trusts Carole. So do we the pawrents! We will for sure go back next time.”

“Katya did a great job taking care of Reggie when I went out of town! Communication was excellent and she provided periodic updates and photos showing how much fun he was having! It’s so nice to be able to leave my boy with someone knowing he is so well taken care of!”

“Christopher was very easy to communicate with and sent photos of my dogs throughout the week. He let me know when one of them didn’t seem to be eating normally and he was confident in handling it. My dogs came back happy and without issues.”

About: I grew up on a farm, so I have spent most of my life caring for pets. I currently own one dog named Mackey. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet and give them the attention they need. I work from home so my schedule is flexible and I can use that opportunity to provide plenty of walks and breaks as needed for your pet. My current dog is indoors. All pets staying at my home will be indoors with A/C and access to plenty of water, food and toys.
About: What sets me apart from many sitters is my lifelong experience with animals and my ability to genuinely connect with them quickly — especially pets who may be anxious, shy, older, highly attached to their owners, or simply used to lots of companionship and attention. Over the years, I’ve helped care for foster litters of puppies and kittens requiring around-the-clock feeding, monitoring, and weight tracking alongside my best friend, who is a veterinarian. I also have veterinary technician and shelter experience, along with hands-on experience caring for senior pets, administering medications, reinforcing basic puppy training, and supporting animals with special routines, anxieties, or medical needs. I’m currently working with one of my own dogs in service dog training, and I’m also a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who previously worked with pre-K children with autism using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Both experiences have strengthened my understanding of behavioral reinforcement, nonverbal communication, patience, routine, trust-building, and adapting to different personalities and emotional needs. In many ways, both children and animals communicate heavily through energy, body language, consistency, and feeling emotionally safe, and I’ve found those skills help me connect especially well with animals of all temperaments. I’m also an avid walker and love spending time outdoors, taking long walks through the beautiful Riverside and Avondale neighborhoods, local parks, and nearby green spaces — especially when the weather cools down a bit. For more active dogs, I genuinely enjoy playtime, walks, fetch, and engagement throughout the day, while calmer pets usually find me just as happy to provide cuddles, companionship, and a peaceful environment. Because I operate my design company remotely and on my own schedule, I’m often able to spend extended time in the home providing companionship, supervision, structure, affection, and a calming presence throughout the day and overnight — not just quick drop-ins. I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality and creating an environment where they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and relaxed while their owners are away. Because I own and operate my own boutique design firm, my schedule is highly flexible and allows me to work remotely from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. I’m also involved in tween mentorship and creative consulting, both of which I manage on my own schedule, making it easy for me to prioritize the needs and routines of the pets in my care. I’m naturally both an early riser and a night owl, so I’m available for early morning feedings and walks, late-night potty breaks, overnight companionship, medication schedules, and pets who simply feel more secure having someone nearby throughout the day and evening. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy the companionship, structure, and calm presence animals bring. Whether I’m working quietly from my laptop while keeping your pet company, taking breaks for walks and playtime, or providing attentive overnight care, I’m able to give pets far more presence and consistency than many traditional sitters with rigid work schedules. Safety, trust, and creating a calm environment are extremely important to me, whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I have two friendly small dogs and cats of my own, so pets staying in my home should be comfortable around other animals and able to coexist peacefully. Our pets are very much part of the family and are welcome on furniture and beds, so I aim to create a relaxed, loving, home-like environment rather than a kennel atmosphere. I understand that every pet has different comfort levels, routines, and boundaries, and I take introductions, feeding, supervision, and transitions seriously to help everyone feel safe and comfortable. If a pet prefers to be crated or separated at times, I’m happy to accommodate those needs as well. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m highly respectful of routines, security, cleanliness, and household expectations. As a longtime homeowner and business owner myself, I understand the level of trust involved when someone gives access to both their beloved pets and their home. I’m conscientious about alarms, locked doors, medications, feeding schedules, potty routines, cleanliness, and communication. Because I work remotely from home in the Avondale area, I’m also able to provide a high level of flexibility, supervision, companionship, and overnight presence for pets who are used to having someone nearby throughout the day.

“Another great visit from Liz! She is so flexible, communicative, and kind. That, alongside her love for animals, makes her the best choice for a pet sitter! Highly recommend!!!”

“I was very satisfied with Amy. She came before the stay so both my cat and I could become acquainted and review house access. She and my cat were immediate friends. She sent me pictures each day and we communicated by text and email. My house looked better when I returned than when I left. She is very kind and caring and I would recommend her without any qualms.”

“When I came home from my trip, my kitten was extremely relaxed and chill. Overall, i could definately tell she was stressed with me being gone, but also extremely comforted by having Meghan drop in! She was extemely normal, happy and elated when I got home. Would recommend Meghan if you want your pet to be in good hands.”

“Being away from home for the holiday and having to leave my sweet baby was so hard, so I booked Rachel for a drop in and she was so good. She played with her, and was very attentive and I’m so happy that my baby got some love while I was away. I will definitely be booking Rachel again❤️❤️”

“Jamilla was a wonderful sitter to our three cats! She is very polite and kind. Always made us feel like our babies were well taken care of! We will be reaching out for Jamilla to watch our cats in the future :)”

“Excellent!!! She accepted my last minute request and was very responsible, honest and friendly with my cats. She sent a lots of pictures everyday. Highly recommended!!!”

“Amber was terrific with my kitties. She sent lots of pictures showing what they doing and texts keeping us informed of their eating, drinking and playing. She is very conscientious and the house was in great shape when we returned. My cats warmed up to her quickly which is quite unusual and I have booked her for our next trip later in the month.”

“This is the second time we’ve booked Pam to take care of our animals and she is wonderful. She even changed our cats’ litter box for us! She’s truly a reliable sitter and very communicative. Pam is the best and will make sure your fur babies are taken care of!”

“Meredith was wonderful! We needed someone to watch our cat Ollie last minute and she was super responsive and detail oriented. Would def recommend!!”

“This turned out to be the best service ever. Erika was amazing and I hope she'll become a regular for Scout. I unintentionally became the sole responsible human to a neighbors cat. I believe she's now needing a permanent home. I hadn't planned for this as we are retired and plan to travel. Finally true empty nesters. We kept Scout inside for our first trip with no clue how she'd do, but daily visits were perfect. We have decided to keep Scout. ☺️”

“Amanda was absolutely amazing! This was my first time using Rover, and I felt so safe and comfortable with her watching my kitties. My apartment unfortunately had a leak while I was away, and she went above and beyond to make sure that it was taken care of. She provided photos every day of my boys and spent time getting to know them and building trust by giving them treats and hanging out with them. 10/10! Thank you, Amanda!”

About: First time booking on rover? Use my code to save $20! KENDRR12795 Hi there! I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for pups of all sizes and personalities. My journey started with my first pet, Frenchie, a toy poodle, followed by my family’s German Shepherd, Snoopy, and now I’m the proud dog mom to Jazmine, my adorable mini Dachshund and certified cutie patootie! I’m the go to pet sitter for friends and family, whether that means house sitting so pups can stay comfy in their own home, taking long walks, or hosting playdates to help burn off extra energy. Since I work from home, your fur baby will get plenty of attention throughout the day. Jazmine's and my daily routine includes regular walks, outdoor time to keep up with neighborhood happenings, and a few fun dance breaks (yes, really!). I understand how important consistency and routine are for pets, so I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal schedule to make their stay as stress free as possible. When you book with me, I promise to care for your dog as if they were my own, and I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and videos along the way. I can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby! Pet care is already a seamless part of my daily routine. Since I work from home, I’m able to give dogs consistent attention throughout the day rather than limiting care to mornings and evenings. During work hours, pups are typically with me in my home office or relaxing on the veranda, so they’re never left alone for long periods. Weekend care is just as flexible, allowing time for longer walks, playdates, and extra enrichment as needed. My day naturally includes regular walks, outdoor time to explore and stay engaged with the neighborhood, and interactive play (plus a few fun dance breaks!). I’m very mindful of maintaining each dog’s established routine, including feeding schedules, walk times, and any special care instructions, to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. With a fenced-in yard and a friendly resident pup, dogs in my care get both companionship and a safe space to play. As an avid Rover user myself, I know how important it is to feel comfortable with your sitter and their home. I’d love to set up a meet and greet to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone.

“Ashley took care of our two cats while we were away and ensured that they both had everything they needed! Happy to build a relationship with someone we trust so we can relax while we’re away.”

About: Certainly! Here's a more polished version of your statement: "For the past 18 years, I have devoted myself to caring for cats while managing a pet resort. In addition to providing exceptional care in a professional setting, I also offer in-home services, ensuring that cats receive comfort and attention while their owners are away."
“I loved Kiah! Very professional. She sent me a detailed update of how my cat was doing during each of her visits with many pictures to go along with it while I was on my out-of-state vacation. I asked her to bring in mail while I was gone and she gladly did that for me as well! My Nola seemed so happy when she was around and I would definitely rebook with her when I’m not in town again.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs most of my life and have lived with multiple cat owners as well. I feel like pets like my calm and loving demeanor 😊 I enjoy the flexibility this profession allows and I love the outdoors. If your pet wants a long walk in the sun or just needs to stretch its legs in the backyard I’m down for either! 😁 I feel as though my laid back demeanor is great for working with animals and even the pickiest cats have fallen for me. I’m great at reading the body language of animals and know when they want a belly rub or when they want me to sit six feet away.

“Sammy is awesome! She took care of my small pup wonderfully. We picked our dog late due to some unexpected delay at Rocky Mountain, but Sammy kindly understood us. Thank you! Also Ohsam loved playing with Sammy's pup!”

“Beverly was amazing. She responded straightaway to take my girl so we could go to Cumberland Island for the day. Tinker came home happy and tired. Thanks Beverly! This was my first time using Rover and it was amazing.”

About: Big Star Pet Care was started in memorial of our best friend of nearly 10 years, a rescue pitbull who was our Biggest Star. That’s why we give everyone our Big Star Promise— to treat your animals like they are their own Big Star. I've taken care of many animals, from cats & dogs, to rodents, reptiles, birds and more. This makes my experience in animal care varied and diverse. I am comfortable with all sizes of pet and breed, as well as many different temperaments. We are privately insured with pet care professional insurance (including vet coverage)— for the utmost safety of your loved ones, so that you can rest at ease while away. We are always learning new ways to expand what we can offer to our clients. We strive to follow instructions left by the pet owner and always send plenty of photos and updates. I am comfortable giving baths and can administer oral medication if needed. Thank you for considering Big Star Pet Services, I look forward to meeting you and your best friend(s). As a wife and wife team, your care will be carried out by either of us or both of us— but you can ensure top quality care regardless of who is providing it. Walks and drop ins before 8am and after 5pm are often attended by Gabrielle, while housesits are generally carried out by Mary due to Gabrielle’s full time position. Boarding care is handled by both parties. Most messages are responded to by Mary. Mary does have a standing M-F 3 hour babysitting gig from 1-4, though it often ends early. We try to be flexible and accept most bookings, including emergency last minute bookings. We offer a number of services; however, we do not accepts pets from more than one family at a time during boardings so that we can ensure the utmost attention, care and safety of your furry friends. We live in a large townhouse with a fully fenced backyard, 3 cats who keep mostly to themselves but may befriend gentler dogs and a 6 month old puppy who is generally well behaved and in training. We have no children or other people living in the home. We can create separated spaces if necessary, while still ensuring your furry friend gets the care and attention they deserve, while in a comfortable space for them. Mary is dog and cat CPR/First Aid certified through the American Red Cross. We have experience with animals who have special dietary, medication and medical related needs.

About: What makes me different from other sitters is the genuine love and care I have for animals. Over the years, I’ve also rescued several lost animals and helped reunite them with their owners, which shows how deeply I care about their safety and well-being. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I’m home all day and have the time and flexibility to give pets the care and attention they deserve. I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of love throughout the day. Since I’m home often, pets will have plenty of supervision and won’t be left alone for long periods. When you book with me, you can expect a safe, caring, and comfortable environment where your pet will be treated like family. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved from the moment they arrive. Since I’m home all day, pets will have plenty of supervision, attention, and care throughout the day. I make sure they have regular potty breaks, playtime, fresh water, feeding on their normal schedule, and a calm environment where they can relax. I also understand that every pet is different, so I do my best to follow each owner’s instructions and keep their routine as close to normal as possible. My goal is to make your pet feel at home and cared for like family while you’re away.

About: Growing up in a home with multiple dogs taught me how important patience, consistency, and attention are when caring for pets. I’m very comfortable around dogs and genuinely enjoy spending time with them, whether that means going on walks, playing, or just helping them feel comfortable and relaxed while you’re away. I know every dog is different, and I always try to make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I’ve grown up in a home with multiple cats and dogs. I’m used to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and making sure pets are comfortable and cared for throughout the day. Because I’ve always been around animals, caring for them feels like a normal and easy part of my everyday life. I’m used to living in a multi-pet household, so I pay attention to different needs at the same time. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions carefully by making sure they’re fed on time, getting the exercise and attention they need, and making sure they always have a clean, safe space. I also focus on being calm, patient, and respectful of each pet’s comfort level.
“Karen did a wonderful job walking our dogs. We have one very high energy dog that can be difficult to walk until he releases energy and she handled him with such ease! Both of my dogs came back from each walk completely exhausted, it was perfect and exactly what we wanted! Karen was so lovely and we look forward to having her walk our dogs again!”

“Amber is the best!!! She always goes above and beyond, and the is the sweetest. Lots of pictures, lots of detailed notes. My little furry family loves her.”

I am open to doing house sitting during the week as well, as long as you are okay with your pet being alone while I am at work. Message me so we can work out details! I’ve had my own cats for 8 years. However, I am a huge dog lover too! I have lived with many dogs through roommates and developed special bonds with many of them. I would be entrusted to care for them if a roommate was away. I love sending pics of your fur babies to you while I take care of them! I am a teacher. So, summertime is extremely flexible, and, sometimes, wide open! I can make a lot work in the summer to fit your pet’s needs. Since I have 2 cats, I am looking to mostly take care of your pets in your home. I am all about comfort for my own pets, and make that the priority for your pets in your home!
About: Hi, I’m Maria! I’ve always been an animal lover and treat every pet like they’re my own. I have two cats myself (who I’m totally obsessed with), so I understand how important it is to leave your pets in good hands. Whether I’m going for a walk with your pup or keeping your cat company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for. I pay attention to the little things—every pet has their own personality, and I love getting to know what makes them feel comfortable and happy. Caring for cats is a daily routine for me, as I’m the proud owner of two feline companions. I delight in pampering them with treats and expressing my affection through play whenever there are toys at hand. I have two cats of my own who love being in my company, and I’ve frequently cared for my friends’ pets when they’re away. They affectionately refer to me as their pets’ honorary aunt.
About: I am a licensed Veterinary Technician with 12 years of experience caring for pets medical needs. I have taken care of dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and pocket pets. I am qualified to provide your pet with some medical care, monitor their health, give medications, feed, clean, scoop litter boxes, take them on walks, play and give them lots of love. I can also transport them to your veterinarian or groomer when you are not able to. Most importantly , I can give you peace of mind when you are away from them. Whether your pet has typical or special needs, I am here for you. I have 3 cats and 1 dog and have had a variety of animals throughout my life. I am currently working part time in the evenings so can be fully available daily for your pets walking, in home care, medical needs or transportation. Evenings and overnights may be available on request. I do not offer care in my home. I will come to your home where your pet feels most comfortable. I will care for them per you or your veterinarian's instruction.

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for dogs and my real-life experience caring for them through every stage of life. I’ve owned and cared for three dogs of my own, and I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and pets with medical needs. I cared for my own senior dog through cancer treatments, which taught me patience, attentiveness, and how important gentle, consistent care is for older pets. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering basic medications if needed, and giving extra attention to pets that may need a slower pace or additional comfort. I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and attentive to each dog’s unique personality and routine. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just relaxing and getting cuddles, I make sure they feel safe and at home while you’re away. My goal is always to treat every pet as if they were my own. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. After retiring from corporate America, I now have the time and flexibility to dedicate my attention to caring for pets and making sure they receive the love and consistency they need. Because I have an open and flexible schedule, I’m able to follow each pet’s routine closely, whether that includes walks, feeding schedules, playtime, or simply spending quality time with them so they feel comfortable while their owners are away. I truly enjoy being around animals, so pet care is something I look forward to and prioritize each day. My availability allows me to be attentive, dependable, and responsive to both pets and their owners. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I follow feeding schedules, walk routines, medication instructions, and any special care directions exactly as provided. I spend quality time with each pet through walks, playtime, and plenty of attention so they feel relaxed and cared for in their own environment. For cats and kittens, I make sure litter boxes are kept clean, feeding schedules are followed, and they receive gentle interaction and monitoring. Because pets often feel most comfortable in their own home, I take extra care to keep their environment calm and consistent. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.
“Vizslas are notoriously aloof and skeptical with new people. Moose is also currently in his angsty tween stage. We had a few previous meetings and greets where he decided he wasn’t a good match with the prospective dog walkers. Jordan arrived on time dressed both professionally and appropriately for a first meeting and walk with a high energy dog. She took the time to introduce herself, meet and bond with Moose, and was very easy to get along with and knowledgeable about not only working dogs but also the Rover program itself. She immediately put both myself and moose at ease. She spent time in the back yard playing fetch with him (he tends to make you feel like you’re an automatic tennis ball thrower) and then took him for a nice walk. She quickly learned his hand signals and Dutch and English voice commands. He was very disappointed to see his new friend go and is looking forward to his next adventure with her- as he has been missing his daily runs with me and now has a new awesome exercise buddy! 10/10 would recommend her to anyone!”

“We were worried because Rex tends to be aggressive towards strangers, Shar was very punctual and always kept us informed of Rex's behavior. Rex was happy with her, We would contact her again. Thank you for taking care our baby.”

“Fantastic sitter who was able to wonderfully provide for and take care of our brand new puppy. With little experience with a brand new puppy they provided peace of mind and regular updates. I would definitely use them again and would recommend giving them an opportunity to care for your loved four legged friend!”
