About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I am very patient and loving. I know everyone might say that, but I really do love animals 🥰 I have my dog Kota who’s been my best friend for 10 years now, he’s super sweet and friendly with other animals. I have a huge backyard with a pool where your furry friend can run and swim. I also work from home so they will always have someone there. I work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible. My mornings start off with feeding my animals and going for a morning walk with the dogs. During my lunch hour that’s when I let the dogs outside to run around and swim for an hour, and then again once my work day is done. We also take potty breaks in between. When my friends and family leave their dogs with me I follow the same schedule and make sure the dogs get plenty of exercise, tired dogs are happy dogs :) since I’m home all day me and Kota can provide companionship all day long for your furry kid :) I live in a house with a huge fenced in yard and a pool. Dogs are allowed on the furniture. I’m always around to make sure that they’re not eating things they’re not supposed to.

About: I have cared for cats since I was about 10 years old and dogs since I was 15. I have volunteered in shelters for over a decade and have worked for a veterinary clinic for the past 4 years. I grew up pet sitting and dog walking for neighbors on top of my own dogs. I truly love animals, and want to spend my free time taking care of them. You can trust me with your cats and dogs! I'm currently working part-time, so when I am not doing that I have plenty of time to spare taking care of your pets! I am available on weekends, after work, and the weekdays I am not working. “I just moved back to Jax and needed to find a new pet sitter for my toy poodle. I was scheduled to be out of town for 4 days and I had anxiety about leaving him with someone he was unfamiliar with for that amount of time. I downloaded the Rover app and Layda literally fell into my lap. Her reviews were great and her availability was open. I reached out and she was immediately responsive. She offered to give me a call to walk me through how the app works and we talked in depth about my dog. She asked all kinds of questions and gave super helpful suggestions. Before I completed my booking, I asked if we could do a meet & greet so that her and Jinger could meet and she happily agreed. They hit it off perfectly. 2 days later I dropped Jinger for his extended vacay and I could tell my baby had the time of his life. Layda sent pictures and videos multiple times throughout the day and she was always responsive when I checked in. She allowed him to be comfortable and feel at home and I really appreciated that. About: I’ve taken care of my personal dogs as well as family dogs for years. I love to play with them and just sit and cuddle with them as well. I am currently a graduate student at Jacksonville University. I am available after 2pm everyday, and on the weekends I can do all day! I am also usually up pretty late at nights so can do late night walks/sitting as well. I am a very trustworthy person. On walks I will make sure they don’t get into anything that may be harmful and always be prepared when in contact with other people/animals.
