He is extremely shy and nervous around new people and it takes him a long time to trust and recognize safe humans especially if mom and dad are not present. Olivia accommodated all of our requests and went by Emerson’s pace. She gave him space, while also talking to him and comforting him. Her communication was 10/10, she was always on time, extremely responsive, and gave us reassurance while we were out of state. We will continue to book her for our sitting needs. On top of her skills as a pet sitter, she is so warm, funny, personable, and caring. She asked all of the right questions at the meet and greet (including safety/emergency planning), and even left a pair of shoes and a sweatshirt so that Emmy could warm up to her scent a week before our booking time. About: All my life I have enjoyed spending time with animals, learning their personalities, and helping with their care. I have volunteered at the Pet Resource Center in both the cat and dog play areas and cared for my own pets. I have taken care of cats for the last 8 years, having 4 and up to 5 cats in my care at any given time. I have also helped my friends and neighbors with their dogs including boarding at my house and daily visits while my friends were on vacation. I look forward to helping you with your furry friends and making them feel loved and special! I currently work from home and can be available in the mornings before 8am. I am also available after work 4:30pm and during lunch time I would keep your pet’s schedule as close as possible to their owners daily routine.
