“This was my first experience with Rover. We had a last minute opportunity to leave town for the weekend and unfortunately at a hotel and venue that were not pet friendly. Contacted Reymun on Thursday and he was able to take Sophie on Friday! We'd previously put her in a kennel once and it was clearly very stressful for her. While Reymun said he was open for long walks he also said he was cool with sitting on the couch watching TV. Sophie is older and sleeping through movies is her favorite pastime! We picked her up on Sunday relaxed and comfortable. Would recommend Reymun and if needed, I will contact him again!”

About: I’m a Legal Assistant Monday through Friday but a full time animal lover 24/7! I have one dog, Daisy and two cats, Calypso and Chevy and 20 chickens. I also have experience with rabbits & hamsters. I worked at an animal hospital for 2 years. From 7-8:30 am on a typical work day will be spent getting pets ready for the day. Feeding breakfast, morning meditations if needed, play time in the fenced yard. Then from 12-1 will be when they are let out again during my lunch break. From 3-7 someone that lives in the house is home to check on the needs of the pets in the house. About: I love animals and I've taken care of them throughout my life; both dogs and cats, kittens and puppies to seniors. Since I was a child my family and I have had 9 cats and 5 dogs in total, and I was active in their caretaking from a very young age. I helped my mom train all our dogs, from a German Shepard to a Maltese mix, so training is not a problem! I also volunteered at animal shelters during high school over the summers, and gained valuable experience during that time. I currently only have one cat, but only due to renter limitations, if I could I'd definitely have more! I'm only working flex part-time right now so I have a lot of availability currently. I love going on walks out in nature already, so what could be better than going with a furry friend? About: I have been dog sitting for friends and neighbors since the day I got my drivers license! We recently moved to Tallahassee, and after dog sitting for a mutual friend, I realized this is something I really enjoy — and my dog does too! While we’re not in a position to get her a sibling, I know she’d love the company of other dogs. We have a large fenced in back yard and a large crate (to be used only if that is your preference). I’ll brag that my dog is great with other dogs — she senses what they need, and doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body. What a great opportunity to know your dog is having as much fun as you are while you’re away! As someone who works from home, I generally let my dog out in the morning before starting work. I can easily let the dog(s) out as often as possible during the day. I can take breaks to play, but generally save any structured activity for after work. In the evenings we love to take walks around the neighborhood or through a local park. With more time on the weekends, we enjoy driving to explore longer walks and greenways. Although I have obligations out of the house, the longest I’m away from home any given day is usually no longer than 4 hours total. I have a large fenced in yard and a very friendly dog who loves to play, but also understands boundaries. Although we don’t use the crate for our dog anymore, we still have a large crate that can be used if that is your preference. We have a one story house but do have stairs up to the house and into the yard.

About: I work at FSU (as a 9-month contract faculty), so I'm totally free (full time at home) during the summer. I love dog and I have owned one small dog 'Sadie' since 2013. She is very friendly, enthusiastic and gets along well with other dogs in our neighborhood. Sadie likes walking, so I take her to a walk twice a day in the mornings and in the evenings. I'd like to extend my love to your dog, especially for those who don't have the privilege to take care of their dogs full time. I have a large fenced yard. There is beautiful grass almost everywhere in my neighborhood. I can follow any directions given, and send updates throughout the day if wanted. If you are curious about the dog sitting time lapse in the past three years, that's because we had a baby daughter in the year of 2000. She is now 3 years old and she is a dog lover as well! The other reason is that our dog Sadie was paralyzed and we had to spend a lot time taking care of her. Fortunately she has been recovering very well and now she can walk normally (sometimes with a sling support on her back) as happy as she is always. We have learned how to take good care of a special needs dog. I'm currently on my summer vacation (as a 9-month contract faculty at FSU), so I have plenty of time to play with your pets and take good care of them as I do with my own dog - Sadie. I have a large fenced yard with a large covered patio and a very friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. Honestly, I just miss having pets around and would love to care for your baby. My job is hybrid so I can work remote and take breaks as needed. I am a homebody so even when I go into the office I am usually home by 5:30 at the latest and around for the whole evening. I prioritize a safe, calm, and clean environment at all times. About: I’ve been pet sitting for family for years now and figured it’s time to branch out the business. I live alone, have a large back yard and a nice park nearby my house. I would pet sit at times when I am available to and take on pets in a manner that makes logistical sense for me and my schedule. I check on them and look for any signs of obvious discomfort or distress. Make sure they have time to use the bathroom/clean litter box and water. Most animals will try and communicate to you what they need, so it’s good to follow the routines they have at home and interpret what they need and at what time.

“This was my first experience with Rover. We had a last minute opportunity to leave town for the weekend and unfortunately at a hotel and venue that were not pet friendly. Contacted Reymun on Thursday and he was able to take Sophie on Friday! We'd previously put her in a kennel once and it was clearly very stressful for her. While Reymun said he was open for long walks he also said he was cool with sitting on the couch watching TV. Sophie is older and sleeping through movies is her favorite pastime! About: I’m a Legal Assistant Monday through Friday but a full time animal lover 24/7! I have one dog, Daisy and two cats, Calypso and Chevy and 20 chickens. I also have experience with rabbits & hamsters. I worked at an animal hospital for 2 years. From 7-8:30 am on a typical work day will be spent getting pets ready for the day. Feeding breakfast, morning meditations if needed, play time in the fenced yard. Then from 12-1 will be when they are let out again during my lunch break. From 3-7 someone that lives in the house is home to check on the needs of the pets in the house. After 7 I will be home for dinner time, play time, and getting ready for bed. I have a spare bedroom dedicated for boarding pets. I have a play pen, and dog crates if needed. I have a fenced in yard. All my furniture in my house is pet friendly. I have dogs and cats that live in my home and are friendly with other dogs and cats. Also a meet and greet beforehand is always a good idea.
