“After a few questionable experiences we found Luke and Signe. We have boarded with them three times so far and each experience has been wonderful. When we arrive for drop off the pups aren’t terrified or fighting to get back in the car. Instead they eagerly hop out and head for the gate to get inside and run around. When we arrive to pick up the pups, they are excited to see us but not blowing through the fence and us to leave there. Communication is great, I never wait for updates and they answer any questions in a timely manner. They also send pictures on a daily basis. I will continue to use Luke and Signe until they retire.”

Since moving back to Florida I have managed to acquire more rescue cats I also have extensive first aid knowledge and am capable of giving oral or topical medications as well as intramuscular injections I now work in a vet’s office My current work schedule is 7:45am-6pm Monday- Wednesday & Friday. I also work 7:45am-12:30pm every other Saturday. So unfortunately my time during the week is limited and my availability would be best suited to older, lower energy dogs I unfortunately can not have any animals at my home. However, I find that staying in a more familiar environment is often less stressful for the animals. I treat every animal I care for as if they are my own- always following feeding instructions to the letter, ensuring constant access to fresh water, facilitating adequate and suitable play/exercise, as well as giving lots of snuggles. I have medical training and can assess injuries and treat minor wounds as well as stabilize for transportation if needed

About: Our place or yours? We live in a 3/2 home.. Our back yard is fenced in and secure. We do have two doggies that love other dogs. I can come to your home also. This is all I do now, and I love it! I previously worked 5 1/2 years at a local animal hospital. I have been working with Rover 8 years and I love it! My husband is a sergeant at a local prison. Several local families I have pet sat for, for almost 11 years. I can come over and walk your dog(gies) each day, or check on them several times a day. Our pets are family members. We have two children that love animals as well. If you choose us, your kids will be treated with the love and fun they deserve. I have given medicine,diabetes shots, accommodated special needs doggies and special diets. If your baby needs their own space we have an empty room they can make their own sanctuary. I was a member of AmeriCorps for two years, here in Okaloosa county. They taught me more about helping local children and other local charities. Now, my only job is pet care. I do go to a few people's houses and let their animals out, play with them during the day. Other than that, I am home with my family and the pets. About: I’ve always been an animal lover! Growing up, we had just about every kind of creature you can think of. Outside of my own miniature zoo, I’ve fostered both dog and cats over the last 10 years for various rescues. I’m currently a full time online college student at UWF so I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to be home most of the day outside of my kids school pick up and drop off’s. My pets are a huge part of my family and being a military family, I understand the need to trust who’s taking care of them. I will happily send as many updates and pictures as you want! Our home is on 2.5 acres with a sizable section fenced in plus a trail through the rest of the property for leash walking. Dogs are never outside without supervision for both mine and your peace of mind. All of our dogs are very people and dog friendly. They are all also crate trained so if there’s a need for me to leave the house they can be put up. We have a spare room and a climate controlled garage if your furry friend needs a break or some space but there’s plenty of space in the living room for everyone to hang out.

Despite having a full time job I prioritize the pets care and needs. Before I go to work I make sure the dogs have plenty of play time and potty times, if i’m able to I do a drop in when i’m on my lunch. When I get home my first priority is making sure the dogs get plenty of exercise and human attention 🐾 Making sure I know their likes and needs. Each fur baby is unique and learning their personalities helps how I care for them. Whether that means we’re outside most of the day, hanging out inside the house, getting cuddles and attention. About: My husband and I have been doing Rover for over three years now! We previously lived in NC. I’ve owned dogs/cats until old age and have been around animals my whole life. I have a 9 year old lab, and adopted a 8 year old pug through dog sitting on this app. And finally we joined the Frenchie gang as well. I love animals and would love to help with your needs. If you are in need of care and it says I am not available, just message me and I will see what I can do, my preferences on here I have set just to avoid driving certain distances (gas prices) but we could possibly work something out, don’t hesitate to reach out! Also, for safety purposes we do not take in intact males or in heat females because my boy Remi is also intact. We apologize for the inconvenience but safety for everyone comes first! I do prefer pick ups/drop offs/meet and greets for my husband to be present for safety purposes, so if I ask if times can be modified I apologize, it’s to accommodate to when he will be home! Our pups occupy their end of the house, yours can occupy the rest! Safety comes first for me so let me know your preferences. However you care for your pet in your home, if applicable I will do the same if needed. I understand dogs need routine to avoid stress. *PLEASE NOTE!!! If you have a male dog that is not neutered, he will be kept SEPARATE. In some cases or most cases we still possibly will decline the sit if it will be difficult to keep separate. I understand it is hard to find care because our male is also not neutered so I want to make it easier for people like us! So please understand that it is for both of the dog’s safety and peace.
About: I have been caring for animals for as long as I have been alive. I am more doing this to help those with cats as I have a house full of them and have a hard time finding help for them than for my dog when going on vacation. I volunteer with an animal rescue and can administer shots as well as give meds to cats and dogs. I have 3 cats and 1 big dog and normally about 5 fosters that I work with. If you hire me for drop ins I will make sure to sit with your pets and give them lots of love or play whichever they need. “After a few questionable experiences we found Luke and Signe. We have boarded with them three times so far and each experience has been wonderful. When we arrive for drop off the pups aren’t terrified or fighting to get back in the car. Instead they eagerly hop out and head for the gate to get inside and run around. When we arrive to pick up the pups, they are excited to see us but not blowing through the fence and us to leave there. Communication is great, I never wait for updates and they answer any questions in a timely manner. They also send pictures on a daily basis. I will continue to use Luke and Signe until they retire.”

About: I have been an animal lover since I was young, babysitting pets often and a professional dog walker with a company called “fetch” in Maryland. I also worked in a veterinary practice in Maryland and have experience with elderly and sick cats and dogs. I currently have no pets, so have an empty nest and we are looking for some company! I work from home full-time so I am available for walks and giving affection to pets at all hours of the day. My husband Also works from home and loves pets, particularly cats. We are a young active couple new to Florida!– walks and running are a regular occurrence for us. We do not have children so we have lots of time and energy to give to a pet! We recently had to put our cat down after 19 years and have found the house too empty! We have a very large home and a very large yard that is clean and safe. None of our neighbors have dogs and your pet would be able to go outside with us for walks on a leash or in the backyard. We have space for a crate in the home and lots of space for pet beds. We do not have any pets at home so can accommodate boarding any type of pet.
