About: An avid animal lover! I grew up with dogs. They loved me just as much as I loved them. My grandparents always had dogs since the time I was born. Their favorite one: German Rottweiler. They are beautiful dogs and so protective. I always helped my grandparents all the time with the dogs. We would have 6 or more dogs in the household all at once, so I have experience with having multiple dogs at once. Additionally, I can teach them tricks such as giving paw, sitting, laying, etc. I have experience from puppies to senior dogs as I know they required different type of care. I am retired; I work independently from home and have a lot of free time. I am looking for some fur babies to take care of so their guardians can feel comfortable leaving them. I will treat all dogs and cats like my own and I take their care very serious. If that means sending daily videos or pictures to their guardians to put them at ease, I am happy to do just that. “Bringing Josie to stay at Ana's is one of the best things for her! Ana has a massive, fenced in yard where she frequently brings the dogs outside to play fetch and run around. I am a Nurse Practitioner and work in a hospital with variable hours. Ana is always flexible about me dropping her off early in the morning as well as not knowing exactly what time I am going to be there to pick her up. Ana is great about keeping in touch with me throughout the day and always sends lots of pictures and videos throughout the day. Josie LOVES Ana. She is an anxious dog at baseline from her times prior to our adopting her, but at Ana's Josie is learning to be comfortable in unknown environments and with other animals. Every time I drop her off she is so excited (tail wagging a mile a minute). I am so thankful for Ana and her husband. They are both amazing. Most dogs enjoy the outside with humans and should not be left out unattended or overnight as they are part of the family. Please permit me to show your dog the same love and care I show my own pups. Please pay special note below as owners sometimes have a tendency to pick up late then fail to review my late policy. This is VERY important! ------------------------------------ Pick up and drop off times are acceptable between 8 am and 6 pm. Please request pick up and drop off times that are commensurate. Any time beyond the drop off hour hours agreed upon will incur an additional fee. Please do not contact me on the date of pick up and request a later pick up time then become angry when there is an additional fee as I have explained this clearly in my profile beforehand. Also please DO NOT fail to call then pick up your pet late and not expect a late fee. My schedule is important too. Meet and greets will be scheduled no more than a week in advance of the sitting. About: Since middle school, I have grown up caring for many different animals. I was responsible for the care of my pets; including two rabbits, three guinea pigs, a leopard gecko, and four snakes. All of these pets lived a very lavish and spoiled life. During high school, I used my volunteer hours fostering dogs, rehabilitating them for their forever homes. The care for these dogs included feeding, walking/playing, training, and medical care. I started working in the veterinary medicine field almost two years ago. This field has given me the experience of providing compassionate medical care, no matter the patient. I am now a full time student studying for radiology. I am a full time student, in which I attend classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am free in the early mornings and late afternoons of those two days. The rest of the week is completely free besides the 2-3 hours I spend studying for school. I tend to be very watchful with pets and do not like to let animals out without some sort of lead unless your yard is fenced in. I will always prioritize safety over anything else to ensure a safe and positive experience for all parties involved. I also ask that I be either provided an emergency contact and/or a preferred veterinary caretaker in case (god forbid) an emergency does come up. I also ask that if a pet is receiving medications, there are clear directions with clear times to administer medications.
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have always loved caring for them! I’ve had dogs of my own and have also cared for friends’ and family members’ dogs, cats, rabbits, and even snakes. I truly enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique personality and naturally match their energy, whether they’re playful and active or just want some extra cuddles and attention. About: I have had plenty of dogs since I was a little kid big and small. My passion is to be a vet in a few years. I’m trying to make money to go to veterinarian school. I absolutely love animals. I’ve been pet sitting full time in the Sarasota/Bradenton/Tampa area (I am now in Gainesville, FL) for over 4 years now but in that time I’ve met over a dozen new families! About: I’ve always loved animals and genuinely enjoy caring for them. I spent 6 years at PetSmart caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, and small animals, 2 years working at k9’s for warriors. Working with service animals, administering meds, caring for sick/disabled dogs. I will be the sole caretaker of your animal(s) when here. Caring for pets in my home will depend on if your furry friend is good with kids under 5. My boys are very respectful of dogs and will not bother them. But there will be running, yelling, jumping, playing. Know if your dog is good around kids. “My dog seemed to enjoy her stay with Trinity and Thomas. It gave me peace of mind knowing Trinity works as a vet tech and Thomas works from home, so my dog had plenty of attention. We also did a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure our dogs got along, which I really appreciated. It seemed like my dog got lots of playtime with their dog during her stay. I knew beforehand that their dog might tear up soft toys, so we only brought toys we were okay with parting with. However, one of my dog's hard toys and her food bowl also ended up getting chewed, which is not something my dog usually does. Just keep in mind if you bring any toys or food items that their dog may have access to, they may get chewed on.”
