About: Very patient and attentive with all my fur babies. Anyone who has ever owned a pet knows how much of a labor of love is required to be a pet parent. I’m always open to providing as much needed walks and belly rubs as possible so that your fur baby gets all the necessary attention. I have plenty of time to help with pet care. I try to make my schedule as flexible as possible, more or less depending on the pet owner needs. I usually make sure the environment is pet friendly and hide all small items that any pet could accidentally ingest, make sure that all of their toys are near, and medications that they need are nearby also. Sure that they have plenty of water and food for their liking or dependent on the specifications of the owner based up their pets needs. And try to make sure that they have something that smells like their owner near so they aren’t weary of their absence.

About: I’ve had pets as long as I can remember, and wouldn’t have it any other way. They are the charm of any home!! I would be honored to watch your pet. I currently work from home and have three dogs myself. All very loved and get along great with other animals, including cats!! About: I started caring for dogs over 20 years ago when I was working with a vet in Colorado doing a pet nutrition study with her. She was just starting a doggie daycare and I fell in love with the whole concept. When I moved back home to Ocala in 2007 there were no dog friendly places like there were in Colorado so I decided to open an in home dog daycare. I’ve been doing that for the last 18 years. I have years of experience in dog nutrition, dog boarding and daycare as well working with dogs with special needs whether emotional or due to abuse. I have experience with many different health issues in dogs such as epilepsy, diabetes, megaesophagus, and more. I’m am qualified to give injections, medication, and specialized care for dogs recovering from surgeries, injuries, and physical disabilities. I also have experience with pregnant and nursing moms and their puppies. Pet care is my full time job and life. I do not have any other job. I do have to keep a pretty organized schedule :) My home has a 6’ privacy fence and is set up for dogs to feel that they are at their second home. All dogs coming into my home are fully screened and temperament tested. All vaccinations, recent negative fecal, and proof of preventatives are required before staying. I do provide puppy care in owner’s homes, but not in my home until they are fully vaccinated. I do stay pretty full with boarding, but I am looking to expand and add the service of in-your-home visits mid-day during the week for dogs that have to stay home all day while mom and dad work.

About: Hi, My name is Maarten and twenty-nine years ago, I applied for an internship at Artis, a zoo in Amsterdam. As luck would have it, I didn't get the job and life took me in a different direction. Now I am 45 years old and fate has finally delivered me to a spot where I can get back to my childhood dream of working with animals. I grew up in a household filled with animals: dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, rats and parrots. This nurtured a wide knowledge of animal care. Over the years, we've had 9 dogs, all of which I trained myself. At the moment, I am raising a 1.5 year old German Shepherd and a 6 month old BullMastiff mix. I want to say that over the years, dogs have grown especially close to my heart. To be honest, they have completely taken over. At the moment, I work part-time as a kennel attendant for S.A.F.E. Pet Rescue. Although I consider it a dream job, my long-term goal is to open up my own doggy daycare. Approach to Dog Walking: I believe that every dog is unique and deserves the utmost care and respect. I approach dog walking with a big smile and a warm heart. My goal is to create a fun and lively experience for your dog, making each walk a joyful adventure. During our walks, I'll ensure your furry friend's safety and well-being, while also encouraging positive behavior. Wednesday and Thursday I work for S.A.F.E. Animal Shelter. The rest of the week I am available between 08:00 and 15:30. Evening visits can be planned by special request. The safety of your pets and property are my main focus. Before you take me on as your pet profesional we will go over your dog's/cat's strengths and weaknesses to ensure a healthy happy and safe experience.
About: I’ve Been a pet owner my whole life. If it weren’t for my two Dobermans I never would’ve learned to walk. I’ve taken care of sick and injured dogs and tended to my fur baby until her last breath at 15. I will treat your fur baby as they are my own! About: Growing up we had 17 golden retrievers. 14 of them were puppies. I now have two of my own and love to be around them. My family has been involved in training. I also worked at 2 different animal hospitals where I was a kennel technician. I have 2 daughters . Currently I am going backed to school to become a dog trainer. I am always available and try to accommodate in any way I can. I appreciate hanging out with animals and doing everything I can for them. I am CPR certified for dogs. Me and my children enjoy animals so if we aren’t doing school work, or helping other animals I am outside training or practicing with my dogs. About: Well, I am highly experienced. I've been involved with animals since the age of seven years old. I've been around everything from fish to cats to dogs to birds to farm animals to livestock. I love bonding with animals gives you such joy. I've had sitters before and I've had good experiences in bad experiences. I would hope that you would trust that if I'm watching your dog in your home that your home will be taken care of as well as your animal. I am able to provide CPR I am quick thinking I do come with a medical background. I have reliable transportation and I myself I'm very reliable. Currently, I work four days a week so I have plenty of time and I'm trying to use this opportunity to become full-time as an animal/pet caretaker I'm just an animal lover. What can I say? If I'm caring for your pet in your home, I will definitely let the dog out if they need to go out in the yard if they need a walk, I would include a walk make sure they get their daily meals daily vitamins, daily supplements if they get dirty and it's OK to give them a bath, I would give them a bath. I would also maintain your home. Keep it nice and tidy so that when you arrived, you didn't have all that drama of having to clean up after.
“Amy took great care of my pup, Schatzee for four nights while I was out of town. She sent me several pictures, responded quickly to my "check in" notes to see how things were going. I particularly liked Amy's home set up. She has a large fenced in yard directly behind her house, and an additional very large fence around her property. My dog is big, young, active, and "zoomie!" She needs space, sunshine, and attention - all in plentiful supply at Amy's. I recommend Amy for boarding of your dog.”
