“Amazing sitter! Went way above and beyond. Hit the stratosphere in terms of pet sitting. Firstly, he handled four cats, which is already big ask. On top of that, one is on prescription food. Then, when one of the automatic feeders I had started malfunctioning, he visited every night to make sure the cat got his food and set up a back-up feeder. He also came over to get an unexpected package for me. Sent tons of pictures, videos, updates, and just generally took care of me and the cats very well. About: I grew up in an animal loving household. I have had dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, and ferrets. Raised my girl from 8 weeks old and she’ll be turning 9 yrs this year. I was also a foster mom for my local shelter where I provided a safe place for over 15 dogs, puppies, kittens, and cats I work from home, so I can provide multiple walks a day for dogs as well as provide a watchful eye while boarding your baby. My dog is my baby, so the couch and bed is her lounge place. I have a spare bedroom that will be a perfect getaway for your baby. Providing them with their own safe place.
About: My 1st Dog, a German Shepard, Bert was born 2 weeks after I was, a puppy of my parents litter and had grew up with him till I was 13 yrs old. I always wanted to be a vet and by the time I was 5 years old had my own Rabbits and Hamsters. Between the long drive here from Chicago and the different settings on the way our somewhat clingy dog was even more clingy and nervous than usual. She was at our side constantly, but we needed to find a sitter for a few hours/days to allow us to golf, fish, etc. without the dog at our side. Tho we were nervous about leaving Bella with a stranger in a new place, it all worked out beautifully. Jody's house was well set up for pets and her own dogs were very friendly. About: I have years of experience caring for dogs of all life stages from playful puppies to gentle seniors. As well as all sizes from small breeds to big pups. Whether your dog needs structured walks, trips to the dog park, careful adherence to a specific feeding schedule or specialized attention like administering medication, I am fully equipped to handle it with care and confidence. For boarding I’m available 7 days a week! Your dog will never be left alone for long stretches. Even though I work a full-time job Monday through Friday (8am-5pm) I live five minutes away from my workplace, which allows me to easily check in on my lunch breaks to manage feeding times and give potty breaks throughout the day. In the evenings and all weekend long I am home full time to hang out, play in the yard with Hazel and cuddle. For daycare I’m available weekends for full daycare.(Note: because of my Monday-Friday work hours, weekday daycare availability is limited but please reach out to see if we can make your schedule work!) I have a true passion for animals; I believe it is my calling in life. I truly love and enjoy taking care of them because they are more than just pets, they are family.
