About: I grew up in an animal loving household. I have had dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, and ferrets. Raised my girl from 8 weeks old and she’ll be turning 9 yrs this year. Between the long drive here from Chicago and the different settings on the way our somewhat clingy dog was even more clingy and nervous than usual. She was at our side constantly, but we needed to find a sitter for a few hours/days to allow us to golf, fish, etc. without the dog at our side. Tho we were nervous about leaving Bella with a stranger in a new place, it all worked out beautifully. Jody's house was well set up for pets and her own dogs were very friendly. Jody was very welcoming and calmed our fears. When we returned, we half expected to see our dog acting anxious, but she was just as calm and happy as if she had spent the day with us. For Overnight house sitting, it starts at 6pm and ends at 9am. For Boarding care, I do not have any pets and I have a back yard to play around in! Feel free to request, even if it’s last minute or same day! I treat every pet with respect when I first meet them. I always make sure to read their body language and let them get to know me first. I love to play and give your pet lots of attention. I always make sure to follow their routine. I also give regular updates with photos or videos!
About: I've been around pets my whole life. I grew up with cats and had a family dog throughout high school, and I've had my own cat for the last five years. Taking care of animals has always just been part of my everyday life. I've also helped friends in my apartment complex by walking and feeding their dogs while they're out of town. I know every pet has its own routine and personality, so I always make sure to follow the owner's instructions and give them the attention they need. I live in Flagler Village in Fort Lauderdale, so I'm nearby and available for local pet care. I'll treat your pet like I would my own and make sure they're well taken care of while you're away. I work from home, so I’m almost always around and able to give your pet attention throughout the day. My schedule allows me to take multiple breaks for feeding, playtime, walks, and check-ins, rather than leaving pets alone for long periods of time. Having my own cat, I understand how important it is for pets to have a consistent routine and someone around who genuinely cares for them. I’m able to provide dependable care while also giving your pet the attention and companionship they need. I understand that every pet and home has its own routine, so I make it a priority to follow the instructions provided by each owner. In a client's home, I will make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive attention and playtime, and are comfortable in their familiar environment. I know cats especially can be sensitive to changes, so I believe keeping their normal routine is important. I’ll take the time to make sure they feel safe and cared for while also keeping owners updated with messages and photos. My goal is to make the experience as stress-free as possible for both the pet and the owner.

I'm a full time office manager that can spend early mornings 7am- 8:30am with your fur babies, 12:30pm-2:30pm for lunch breaks and after 6:30pm on week days. Weekends can be consulted. In the evenings and all weekend long I am home full time to hang out, play in the yard with Hazel and cuddle. I have a true passion for animals; I believe it is my calling in life. I truly love and enjoy taking care of them because they are more than just pets, they are family.
