About: I have taken care of cats of all temperaments when I worked at a shelter. Some cats have a hard time with new people and that’s ok. I am very patient and respectful of their space and usually they let me do what I need to do. I also currently have a cat of my own who was formerly a stray and has some health issues so I have experience giving oral medication and eyedrops. I also feed a few stray cats in my area and they have come to accept my presence even though they’re pretty feral. Overall, I have experience with all kinds of cats and usually the answer is plenty of patience and they will at least accept my presence.

About: I've had cats since the day I was born. My family was the one to take in every stray, and that trait still exists in me today. I currently have a senior tuxedo kitty named Stacy, and she's been my soul cat since I was 12 years old. My orange cat, Maroon, came into my life 3-years ago, and those have been the silliest and cuddliest years of my life. My cat Stacy has chronic bladder stones and has to be on a special medicated diet for the rest of her life. Through her and other pet care experiences, I am skilled in administering medications and managing special dietary needs for cats, ensuring their health and well-being. About a year ago, I fostered 2 semi-feral kittens and their momma. I went through the process of humanely trapping them, getting them spayed/neutered, socializing them, and then re-homing them. About: My entire life I’ve lived and cared for dogs in all shapes in sizes. From stubby Corgis to big, fluffy Bernese mountain dogs, or my wonderful pack of Australian cattle dogs back home. I was the one largely responsible for the care of my family’s elderly Berner, Diogi (pronounced D-O-G) in his final years of life. I’ve fostered and raised several new born puppies of varying temperament and seen them off to loving families, but I’m most proud of the unbreakable bond I’ve formed with who I would call my “soul-dog”, Winnie, my red Australian cattle dog whom I love more dearly than anything. Unfortunately she had to stay behind when I moved to Gainesville for college, but I get to see her often enough. I work on the side at Chick-fil-a as well as attend school full time. Despite this, my schedule is flexible and I have days throughout the week I am 100% free for anything. My regular school days see me out before 1PM. When I do work, I typically go in early afternoon (~2PM) and leave around 8-10PM. I live in an apartment complex which has several grassy areas to use the bathroom and get some sniffs in.. Nearby there are several nature trails as well as quite a few dog parks within walking distance. I do own a car which I am willing to use to drive to other locations for longer walks/new environments.

This takes place at the location where care will be provided and gives us a chance to review your pet’s routine, home setup, safety needs, and comfort level. **Meet and greet exceptions:** * Cats do not require a meet and greet unless there are medications, behavioral concerns, or a complicated home setup * Puppies under five months may be booked without a meet and greet when appropriate * Returning clients may fast-track future bookings Please schedule your meet and greet at least 72 hours before your first requested service so we have enough time to coordinate properly. After the initial meet and greet, you are all set for future bookings. If you move to a new home or apartment, you are welcome to schedule another visit so I can become familiar with the new layout, entry instructions, and pet-care setup. 🚶♀️ Dog walks and drop-ins I organize dog walks and cat drop-ins into efficient daily routes using flexible arrival windows. This helps reduce unnecessary travel time while still allowing me to provide thoughtful, attentive care during every visit. Dog-care windows: * Standard visits generally take place between 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM * Morning visits may begin as early as 8:00 AM * Evening visits may be available for dogs who need additional flexibility **Cat-care windows:** * My preferred cat visit window is between 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM * Visits requiring medication or strict timing will be scheduled around those needs whenever possible Dogs are generally prioritized earlier because of restroom needs, but every pet receives the same level of care, attention, and communication. 🐾 Premium boarding Boarding is a high-touch, in-home service for clients who want a fully hands-off experience while their dog is away. At this time, boarding is available only to dogs who already have an established walking, drop-in, or daycare relationship with me. This helps ensure your dog is already comfortable with me, my home, my routine, and my resident pets before an overnight stay. Dogs boarding with me must be safe around cats and respectful toward my personal dog. Dogs showing aggression, predatory behavior, severe resource guarding, or repeated unsafe behavior toward resident animals may not be eligible for boarding. If a boarding stay must be ended for safety reasons, care may be converted to drop-in visits at your home for feeding, potty breaks, and companionship whenever possible. 🚗 Premium pick-up and drop-off For added convenience, I offer pet transportation as an optional add-on. I can personally pick up or return your dog along my existing daily route, allowing you to leave your dog comfortably at home without coordinating an in-person handoff. This service is priced accordingly to reflect the additional time, travel, and personalized care involved. ⛔ Important booking policies * One complimentary meet and greet is included for new clients * Additional meetings should be booked as a walk or drop-in to cover time and travel * Every pet receiving care must be listed on the Rover booking * Bookings should be confirmed within 48 hours of the meet and greet or the requested time may be released * House-sitting and drop-in bookings follow a seven-day cancellation policy * Availability is not guaranteed until a booking has been formally confirmed by you. through Rover. My goal is to be both your pet’s advocate and your peace of mind while you’re away. 🚨 Safety and stress policy Safety is always my top priority, both for your pet and for me. If a pet displays aggression, extreme fear, severe anxiety, or behavior that makes a visit unsafe, I will still make every reasonable effort to ensure their essential needs are met, including food, water, medication when safely possible, and potty access. However, I may modify or shorten the visit if continuing would increase stress or create a risk of injury. This is never done as punishment. It is a safety decision intended to prevent escalation and protect everyone involved. Any significant concerns will be clearly documented and communicated to you. 🛏️ Crate or confinement requirement for boarding For boarding stays, dogs must be comfortable resting safely in a crate, exercise pen, gated room, or behind another secure household barrier. This is a firm boarding requirement. At night, during meals when separation is needed, and anytime dogs cannot be directly supervised, boarding guests will be safely confined. This gives every animal appropriate space to rest and ensures all pets remain secure while I am sleeping, showering, completing household tasks, or briefly away from home. Crates and gated spaces are always used as calm, neutral resting areas, never as punishment. If your dog normally uses a crate, pen, gated room, or another confinement routine at home, please share the details with me so I can keep their stay as familiar and low-stress as possible. Dogs do not need to love being crated, but they must be able to tolerate safe confinement without panicking, attempting to escape, or injuring themselves. If your dog is not currently comfortable with any form of secure separation, boarding may not be the right fit at this time. In that case, drop-in care in their own home may be a safer and more comfortable alternative. This is non-negotiable.

About: I have had my own dogs and cats my whole life and currently have one dog and one cat. I worked at an animal shelter through high school with all kinds of dogs and cats and am comfortable with pretty much anything they can throw at me. Sometimes accidents happen and it’s ok and sometimes they get scared when new people are around which is totally understandable. I’m very comfortable being patient with any animal who needs a little extra love and understanding. I am currently a full time student and usually my day is pretty open on any day I don’t have class and in between my classes. I have two pets of my own who I get up early to take care of before class and always make sure I’m home to take care of after class. Weekends that I’m not visiting family are usually completely free as well. In a client’s home, the most important thing for any nervous pet will be respecting boundaries. I have a nervous girl dog and girl cat so I totally understand when they are a little hesitant to new people. But if they are sociable and want plenty of love I can absolutely give that too. I am very good at reading their body language and actions to determine what they want or need in the moment and will absolutely respect that their space if they want that.

About: I not only grew up around dogs, but I’ve worked in animal shelters and a pet resort, where I was responsible for the needs of dogs and cats. I earned 44 hours of volunteer work at the Humane Society in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., where I gave tours to potential dog owners.
