“Sarah is amazing! She has taken Kaiser in twice now while we’ve been out of town and he has such a good time and well taken cared of. She consistently provides updates and pictures which is really nice too. I would highly recommend Sarah for watching your pup!”

“Reymun was fantastic. He was diligent about sending updates and had a pleasant and calm demeanor that took the stress out of a last-minute booking. I really appreciated that he was very understanding of Calliope's needs and wanted to make sure she was as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend his services.”

“I completely trust Madelyn to care for my dog Charlie. He loves her family and their dog Penny! Madelyn is great to communicate with and easy going. “We left our puppy (well - almost a dog - 11 months) with Ain for 7 days. Ain took really good.care. Despite inclement weather - it rained near constantly for all the 7 days. Our pup has a lot of hair - Ain had to give him a bath twice. And she kept us constantly updated - sending us photos and messages. She is very calm, loving and caring!!”

About: I have owned or cared for my own dogs my entire life. Having lost my senior 'Stanley' last year I find myself longing for a dog's company and spirit. My own dogs have lived long lives - two for 18 years, one for 17 so I know how to give meds and care for their special needs. Stanley's petsitter recommended I try Rover - so here I am! I can come to your house, or bring your dog here to my 1/2 acre fenced in yard, with a dog door to the house and lots of time to share with your pet. I am retired and in Tallahassee or the vicinity walking or meeting up with friends. I have lots of free time to share with your pet. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in yard and a dog door to the house. I have a pool. I can come to your house if needed, or care for your dog here.
“Nilanie did a great job watching our dog, Lola, while we were out of town for a few days. She sent adorable photos everyday of our pup and provided consistent updates on how she was adjusting. Definitely recommend!”

“Richard is the best!!! My dogs Coco and Teddy love him so much! Coco could not stop smiling and that confirms for me that we will be a return customer. Thanks Richard!”

“We were happy to have found Katie!. Our senior dog Jack spent the day and night in her home this past Saturday while we made a quick out of town trip. Katie’s house was very convenient and she made Jack feel like part of their family. We enjoyed viewing the video and pics that she sent as well!”

“Colette was amazing with my pup! I received daily pictures and updates on how he was doing so that I could feel assured he was happy and having fun. She even noticed some ear inflammation and treated it with drops to ensure it didn’t get any worse. I knew my pup was enjoying his vacation as I enjoyed mine. I would definitely recommend Colette and will be contacting her myself for future visits!”

I love dogs and cats to my core. I work full time at a specialty vet clinic in town. I have Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off to spend time socializing with your pets. From 7-8:30 am on a typical work day will be spent getting pets ready for the day. Feeding breakfast, morning meditations if needed, play time in the fenced yard. Then from 12-1 will be when they are let out again during my lunch break. From 3-7 someone that lives in the house is home to check on the needs of the pets in the house. After 7 I will be home for dinner time, play time, and getting ready for bed. I have a spare bedroom dedicated for boarding pets. I have a play pen, and dog crates if needed. I have a fenced in yard. All my furniture in my house is pet friendly. I have dogs and cats that live in my home and are friendly with other dogs and cats. Also a meet and greet beforehand is always a good idea.
“Franceska & Daniel were awesome sitters! They were very good at communicating and Chop took a liking to them very quick. I was very happy with knowing Chop always had company and not just in a cage, that left me comfort to continue to book with them especially because they treated chop as if he were their own and was just as happy caring for him.”

“Grachel was very friendly and extremely reliable! I was super comfortable leaving Bella because of her knowledge and experience in caring for dogs. I'm pleased to say that Grachel treated my fur baby like her own and I have no doubt that she treats all her stays the same. Plus Grachel has the sweetest dog Lucy who got along well with Bella and kept her company during her stay, so she wasn't to lonely. I'll be using her services again in the future.”

“Thank you so much Katie!! She was able to do a last minute drop in visit for my babies including a longer distance drive. she was very communicative and made sure that everything was taken care of.”

“Alex was amazing! Our cat can be feisty but thanks to Alex’s understanding of cat behavior she was able to make her as comfortable as possible while we were away. Our cat actually seemed to be fond of Alex and warmed up to her quickly! Alex always made sure the cat got as much (or as little) attention as she wanted, plenty of playtime, and kept up her usual routine for wet food. Alex was also very communicative, so it was fun to get so many pictures of our cat. I would definitely hire Alex again!”

“Iomar took excellent care of our cat and guinea pigs! We received lots of adorable photos while we were away, and it was clear they were well taken care of. We would book again!”

“Andrew deserves more than 5 stars - We were gone during the severe cold snap that hit Tallahassee, and he not only set the spigots to dripping, he came back and checked them on the day when the pipes were temporarily frozen to either shut our water off or adjust them again. Our shy indoor cats are also responding to his visits - something that usually takes a couple of year - so he his working his magic on befriending them. In a nut shell, he has watched over our house and pets like they were his own. It is much appreciated.”

About: In my childhood I had many cats and I have now had a dog for almost 8 years! I started dog sitting about 3 years ago for my neighbors and I really enjoy it. I have taken care of their dogs while they were on vacation and have also dropped in while they were working. I have been around pets my whole life and I love them! I love going on walks and playing with them and am very passionate about animal care. I currently work part time at a bakery but my schedule is pretty flexible around that. I do school mostly online so work is the only time I wouldn’t be with the pet! I occasionally work in afternoons, sometimes in the mornings. Contact me and I can work a shcedule out for you! I am very diligent about following instructions for your pet and I am respectful of both your space and the pet! I am also very diligent about safety and will do my best to keep an eye on your pet the whole time. I will clean any messes that may be made and check locks before leaving every time. I always make it a habit to check for food, water, any potential messes, and locks every visit.

“Megan does a wonderful job, making friends with our felines. She follows the agreed schedule for them and makes an effort to entertain them. We’ll be using her again for sure, and already booked!”
“Theo is the best sitter we could have hoped for. He was punctual, attentive, and followed instructions to the letter. We were not worried our entire trip away from home and that's all thanks to Theo.”

About: I have had dogs in my household since I was born, and I have taken care of them for as long as I can remember. I have had two Golden Retrievers and a rescue from the animal shelter. I am currently on summer break from my academic studies at Florida State University in Biomedical Engineering. I have quite a lot of traveling planned this summer and am looking for a flexible and enjoyable job to fill in my free time. I am quite familiar with dogs of all kinds. If anything would be required during a pet-sitting, I most likely have it in my place of residence (Crate, Treats, Leashes, Toys, etc.).

“The cats were still here, healthy and happy. The house was in good shape. The mail was organized. She was very responsive to calls and sent cat pics. This was my first time with Emilie, but I will certainly try to get her again.”
“Haley did an excellent job. Communication was great. She was very attentive with the dogs and seemed like she truly loved them. I would definitely use her again and would suggest her to family and friends.”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Felkel
“Ainla was recommended by our vet. Our two year old dog Sonny is a bit anxious when meeting new people/animals so we didn’t know how his first Rover dayboarding would go. Well, we can report that it went very well! Ainla gave us regular updates and went above and beyond. Sonny will definitely go to her again! 5 stars!”
“Diane was so welcoming and friendly. It was the first I had left my dog, Bijoux, with a stranger but she put me right at ease. Bijoux loved playing with Diane's son. Diane sent me some cute pictures of them playing. I am already looking at booking future dates for Bijoux with Diane.”

“Reymun was great! He was there for us when we had a last minute request and was so quick to communicate. He sent us updates during the day and some cute pictures of peaches spending time outside. We won’t hesistate to reach out to Reymun again or recommend him to others!”

“Dropped dog off, Nice neigh, nice house. Mathew was personable and friendly. I know my dog enjoyed their dogs and kids. Nice report card and pictures. Plan to use again.”

“I have a senior dog with special needs. Kate asked intelligent appropriate questions to evaluate if she and Matthew would be a good fit to ensure my dog was not a risk to himself, their home, or other dogs, and how to best meet his needs by understanding his behaviors. Once we agreed to a trial day care day. I was impressed with the care provided and my dog was very comfortable and happy being there. Kate sent photos and updates and was quickly responsive to my questions. Their dogs and teens are good companions to the client dogs, the house is dog-friendly in comfort and safety with all non-chewable temptations stowed away, and their spacious fenced yard provides stimulation and exercise. With a dog-friendly pool, they are hitting the pet resort level for my Boykin! They have earned our trust and respect as dog care providers, and we are grateful to have found them!”

Please feel free to ask me any questions and I look forward to meeting ... As summer is almost upon us, I know many of you are planning vacations. If you need a house and or pet-sitter during your away time, please, write to me. I do not always use rover to conduct payments but am happy to use the site if you prefer. About: I work at FSU (as a 9-month contract faculty), so I'm totally free (full time at home) during the summer. I love dog and I have owned one small dog 'Sadie' since 2013. She is very friendly, enthusiastic and gets along well with other dogs in our neighborhood. Sadie likes walking, so I take her to a walk twice a day in the mornings and in the evenings. I'd like to extend my love to your dog, especially for those who don't have the privilege to take care of their dogs full time. I have a large fenced yard. There is beautiful grass almost everywhere in my neighborhood. I can follow any directions given, and send updates throughout the day if wanted. If you are curious about the dog sitting time lapse in the past three years, that's because we had a baby daughter in the year of 2000. She is now 3 years old and she is a dog lover as well! The other reason is that our dog Sadie was paralyzed and we had to spend a lot time taking care of her. Fortunately she has been recovering very well and now she can walk normally (sometimes with a sling support on her back) as happy as she is always. We have learned how to take good care of a special needs dog. I'm currently on my summer vacation (as a 9-month contract faculty at FSU), so I have plenty of time to play with your pets and take good care of them as I do with my own dog - Sadie. I have a large fenced yard with a large covered patio and a very friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. With four bedrooms and a large sunroom, I can easily crate your pet or put in a separate (private) room if needed.
About: I’ve taking care of pets since I was a child, always love to meet new pets and get their personalities. I love walking dogs and playing with cats. I have a full fenced yard and live in one of the best neighborhoods in Tallahassee. I work a full time job but always willing and able to sit or care for pets, I do work from home in my hours I do both, at home and at your own home depends on preference and pets personality, which ever you’re more comfortable with and makes the pet happy
“I took my dog to Stacy for daycare and he had so much fun playing all day with the dogs there. He came home very happy and sleepy. From the videos she sent me during the day, you could tell how much she loved having him there, and how much he loved her as well. When I dropped him off, I saw she had many dogs of her own, including adorable puppies, and a few that she was watching. This is a great place to take your dog if they love socializing. I will be rebooking again and again for daycare and overnights.”

“Aylee was absolutely wonderful with Peaches! She accommodated us on very short notice, which we really appreciated, and she was incredibly communicative and friendly throughout the entire stay. We felt confident right away that Peaches was in great hands. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was being so well cared for. We would recommend Aylee to anyone and are already looking forward to bringing Peaches back in the future!”

“Communication was great. At drop-off I truly felt my pup was in great hands. Sent pictures throughout the day to let me know how everything was going. Definitely will be a returning client.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs, cats and even horses since the age of 9. From drop ins, dog walking, overnights and even puppy classes I have worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have potty trained, crate trained, and taught basic commands to both puppy and adult dogs. I have cared for senior dogs and have experience giving meds and care for post surgery/medical procedure. From the time I was a child I have loved being trusted to care for neighbors and friends animals while they were away. No animal is off limits as I love them all! I look forward to meeting and working with you and yours! I am currently staying at home while my husband works so my schedule is very open. Every day of the week is a possibility for drop ins or overnight care. I live in a home with plenty of space to crate your baby if they stay the night, ensuring their safety and ours. I currently own a 75lb goldendoodle who loves playing with other dogs. My neighborhood is incredibly dog friendly and is lined on a paved circle perfect for walking dogs. I usually do an AM and PM walk to allow dogs to potty, along with intermittently taking them out throughout the day. Most play time happens inside where there is a much lower risk of escape or overheating.
“Yo, Caleb was very responsive from initial contact. 🤩👍👏 Directions were clear. Caleb was very flexible with his time and I appreciate the couple of hours he watched my baby. Lil Bit and I will see you again. Thanks again man. 🙏😊💯”

About: My friends and family have regularly trusted me to care for their pets for the past 4-5 years, and I treat every dog as if they are my own. I’m very committed to providing safe, loving, and reliable care for your pet! I am currently off from school and I am not working for the whole summer, so I have open availability until August! I am flexible, dependable, and happy to work with your schedule to make sure your pet gets the care and attention they deserve :) Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities! I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with plenty of safe walking areas and green space nearby for regular walks, exercise, and potty breaks. Since I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised on a leash to ensure your pet is always safe. I carefully follow any instructions provided for feeding schedules, crate use, medications, or anything else. I also fully respect their routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable and stress-free! I am patient, attentive, and mindful of each animal’s individual needs. I can also provide updates and photos regularly so parents feel comfortable while they are away.
About: I grew up around animals of all kinds — dogs, cats, cows, pigs, and more — so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I currently have two spoiled pups of my own, Milly and RJ, and I treat every pet in my care like family. One thing that sets me apart is that I’m a teacher, so during school breaks and summers I’m home throughout the day and able to provide plenty of supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and attention. We also have a fenced-in yard where dogs can safely run and play. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I pride myself on being dependable, patient, attentive, and communicative so you can feel comfortable while you’re away. 🐾 Since it’s summer break, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! We usually start the mornings slowly outside before it gets too warm, giving the dogs time to play, explore, and enjoy some fresh air. After breakfast, we spend time relaxing inside where the pups can nap, play, or follow me around while I read or get things done around the house. In the evenings, we head back outside for more playtime, walks, fetch, or whatever activities your dog enjoys most. I’m home throughout the day, so potty breaks, attention, and supervision are never a problem — your pet will get plenty of love and care all day long! 🐾 I will care for your pet like they’re one of my own! 🐾 I know how important routines and comfort are for animals, so I do my best to stick closely to your pet’s normal schedule for feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and rest. Pets in my home will receive lots of attention, love, supervision, and cuddles throughout the day. We have a fenced-in yard for safe outdoor play, and pets are welcome to relax inside with me just like family. Treats are always given with owner permission, and I’m happy to accommodate any specific instructions or preferences to help your pet feel comfortable and happy while you’re away.

“First walk with Katie and a very active and shy Lagotto! She did awesome. I love how she tried to work with him and his leash needs and practiced discernment around other dogs. About: Hi! I’m a devoted dog lover with over 7 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds and personalities. I live in a house with 1.5 acres of land, including a large, fully fenced grassy yard where dogs can safely run, play, and explore. I currently have a German Shepherd and a Border Collie, so I’m very familiar with active and intelligent breeds. I also have a 3-year-old child who is very gentle and respectful with dogs, and all interactions are always supervised. I am mostly free after dropping my child off at daycare around 8 a.m., which allows me to provide plenty of attention, walks, potty breaks, and playtime throughout the day. I’m comfortable feeding dogs, giving oral medications, and following specific care routines. I truly love caring for dogs and treat every pup like part of my family—with lots of affection, patience, and cuddles. 💛 Please note: • I currently accept dogs under 12 years old • I prefer dogs that are house-trained Since I work from home, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to balance work and pet care effectively. About: I’ve been pet sitting for family for years now and figured it’s time to branch out the business. I live alone, have a large back yard and a nice park nearby my house. I would pet sit at times when I am available to and take on pets in a manner that makes logistical sense for me and my schedule. I check on them and look for any signs of obvious discomfort or distress. Make sure they have time to use the bathroom/clean litter box and water. Most animals will try and communicate to you what they need, so it’s good to follow the routines they have at home and interpret what they need and at what time.
About: I’ve walked neighbors’ dogs and cat-sat throughout high school, giving me real experience caring for pets with different needs and personalities. I’m very attentive and great at following instructions, whether that means specific feeding times, walk routines, or special care notes. I always aim to keep pets comfortable, safe, and happy while their owners are away. I’m currently attending cosmetology school Monday through Thursday from 8am–3pm, so I’m available for pet care after 3pm on weekdays, as well as evenings and most weekends. I’m dependable, responsive, and happy to work around your pet’s routine. I have a cat of my own and regularly help care for my parents’ two cats and one dog, so I’m very comfortable around pets. I follow instructions closely and make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
About: I've cared for furry friends since I could walk. My family raised me in an environment where caring for animals was a form of education, and one I'm happy to share every day. I own a business that operates in a seasonal fashion. This affords me the opportunity to be available where most aren't. Whether that be for day visits and walks, or night time check ins. My home is great for dogs. My old boy loves company. He's very gentle. I have access to walking trails as well. I am happy to accommodate for kennel trained or non-kennel trained.
About: What Sets Me Apart 🐾 I’ve spent years working closely with animals of all kinds—dogs, cats, reptiles, and more. 🧒🐶 For nearly a decade, I ran the summer camp at my local Humane Society, caring for animals daily and teaching kids how to do the same. 🐕🦺 I’ve raised dogs my whole life and once cared for seven huskies—from newborn pups to seniors. 😺 I have plenty of experience with cats, including shy ones, playful ones, and those who need extra patience. What sets me apart is my mix of hands-on experience, dependability, and a calm, respectful approach to each pet’s personality. Whether it’s drop-ins or keeping them company while you’re away, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for in their own space. I have a flexible work schedule and plenty of time for pet care. I also go on lots of walks, so your pup will get plenty of fresh air and exercise! 🐕🦺🌳 When I care for pets in a client’s home, I always prioritize their comfort, routine, and safety. 🏡 I follow all instructions closely—whether it’s feeding, medication, or favorite spots for walks or naps. I make sure doors, gates, and anything hazardous are secure, and I take the time to build trust with each pet so they feel calm and cared for while you’re away. 🐾
About: I am a 24-year-old college student searching for pet-sitting opportunities in Tallahassee, Florida. I am passionate about animals and plan on entering a Zoology-related career field. My specialty lies in reptiles, amphibians, and cats, but I am just as capable of caring for small dogs and birds. I do not accept large dogs as I am a slight individual and have difficulty handling them. Over the years, I have cared for a boa constrictor, a leopard gecko, two rats, two African dwarf frogs, a red-eared slider, a Shih Tzu, and a total of seven cats. Fun Fact: Jackson Galaxy and Steve Irwin are heroes of mine! My schedule is flexible, and I will work part or full-time as required. I am willing to stop by once a day or stay the night with your pet(s) as needed. I have reliable transportation and can care for small animals at any client's home in the Tallahassee area. With all pets, I will require a meeting beforehand to ensure they are comfortable with me and that I am providing the best possible care. This will include me writing down all necessary information, such as emergency contact numbers, feeding schedules, specific care requirements, and household upkeep. I will maintain steady contact with the client through phone calls and texts while caring for their animal(s).

“We have used Rover extensively all over the country. Amanda is one of the best, if not THE best! Amanda is reliable and a great communicater. She makes sure our counter surfer is safe in her home. Her dog, Milly, is a sweet dog and good companion for Charlie. The photos she sends every day show how happy Charlie is in her care. and he is very relaxed and happy when we pick him up.”

“My 2 dogs looked like they had an absolute blast with Alicia, her fiancé and their dog Maddie! I got plenty of updates and pics of them throughout their stay and their adventures and fun. They got plenty of exercise and loving based on what their needs were. They made sure to do a meet n greet which was helpful to make sure their dog and mine would get along and Maddie was super sweet. Overall, absolutely will be using them again when I need a sitter again!”

“This was our first time to ever leave our dog for more than a day so we were worried how he would adjust. However, it went splendidly with Zai and her family! She eased my worries with photos of Fraser happily hanging with them and Zai gave me regular updates. It is comforting to know we have a second home for him so maybe we will travel more!”

“Was our first time away from our dog and I must say I felt at ease leaving him in her care and while I was away. She kept me updated on how he was doing. If you book with Mrs. Angela your fur baby will be well taken care of. I will definitely be booking with her again.”
