“We left our 16-year-old cat, Mittens, in Marina's care for a week. We live in Southwest Florida but were spending a week in Vilano Beach. We wanted Mittens close to us in case there were any issues as she is an elderly cat. Marina did an excellent job caring for Mittens and giving her the attention she craves. Marina updated us several times throughout the day with photos and messages. We have never left Mittens with anyone before, but she was very comfortable with Marina and her family and made herself right at home. It really relieved our anxiety about leaving Mittens by seeing in the photos how relaxed she was with this family. Mittens even got along well with their little dog. I wish we lived closer to Marina as we would definitely use her again. If we ever find ourselves in St Augustine and need a pet sitter, we will call Marina.”
About: I have had a family dog in my life more years than not. I have always been an animal lover. I especially love dogs and their sweet personalities. I am currently in college, so I typically have a class in the morning and am available the remainder of the day, with some exceptions. I do not typically work during the week so I will have wide availability. I love taking the dogs on walks and playing with them. My apartment has a dog park which is also fun to let them run around and play at.

About: I have worked at a doggy boarding and daycare facility for eight years. I have been managing for three of those eight years. I have cared for numerous breeds and dogs of all ages. I do have a soft spot for elderly dogs, but do love walking and playing with younger, energetic dogs as well. About: Growing up, I've always had animals in the house. Cats, dogs, fish, guinea pigs, bearded dragons— you name it. I've done pet setting during high school, and now that I'm going to college soon, I'd love to help take care of people's pets again! About: I have experience with small, medium, large, and XL dogs! I've experienced leash aggression dogs as well. With that being said I can also watch reptiles! I have my own cats, toffee hognose, zero-bearded dragons, and a leopard gecko. As someone who has their own pets, I know the importance of knowing that your fur baby is cared for in your absence. Currently, I am a grad student at USAHS enrolled in the OTD program. I have class Monday-Friday but am not gone for longer than 3-4 hours a day. After classes your pet will be with me for the rest of the day so we will have a ton of time to play! Your pet will never go anywhere unsupervised, he/she will always be taken care of as if they were my own, they will be walked every potty break, they will be the only dog in the home too. The only times I will be gone is for classes/labs. I will stick to the rover times you've set through the app to ensure you feel safe with each visit. I'm more than happy to send pictures and videos for updates as well.

Originally from Middle Tennessee, my family and I recently moved to St Augustine, Florida, and are still trying to get established. Love the area very much, and hope to spend the rest of our lives here. I'm currently only doing drop-in visits for dogs as I had fleas brought in a couple of times that were passed onto other dogs. I'm sorry that I can't offer that service anymore, but I don't want to go through that again. I am also glad to keep (or do drop-in visits) for cats, rodents, and birds for a lower rate...also drop-ins for livestock, with the rate depending on the job. Dinosaurs are a little extra ;o) I just had a new baby and am on a leave of absence from my job with Metro Schools. I am available most any time for drop-in visits and walks. I will follow your instructions for their feeding and/or care and take the same precautions for their safety as I would take with my own pets.
