About: I have been pet sitting and walking for a decade now and have my own pets. I can handle small and big dogs as well as young and old dogs. I go at their speed with a gentle push so we get some distance in too. “My husband and I had to move our son out of state for a new job. I was so stressed about having to leave my dogs with someone I didn’t know. My son suggested using Rover. I read through the posts and Nancy’s post jumped out at me. After meeting with her, I felt very comfortable leaving my dogs with her. Nancy wanted to know all about my dogs and I had explained to her that both my dogs were rescues and I needed them to have as much TLC as possible. She did not disappoint. Nancy treated them both like they were her dogs. She constantly kept me up to date with pics and how they were doing. Nancy is a true gem and I will be using her from here on out. She is wonderful. I no longer have to fear leaving my dogs behind again as I know my dogs will have no problem going to her house as she has spoiled them.”

He can be a little particular—he's an older dog with dietary restrictions, doesn't care much for other animals, and takes some time to warm up to new people—but they were incredibly patient, attentive, and understanding of his needs. They kept me updated, followed all of his instructions, and gave me peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. It's never easy leaving your pet behind, especially one with a few quirks, but I felt completely comfortable with Spike in their care.
