About: I worked as a veterinary assistant in a fear free clinic for 3 years. I have had and been around animals my entire life. I have no problem giving meds or catering to your fur babies specific needs. I currently work as a restaurant manager so I am gone for about 6 to 8 hours a day in weekends. I have a pet camera that I can keep on all day while I'm not here. I also have a neighbor that lives across the street that has come to do walks if I have a long shift or something. Until recently I had a senior pit mix,and currently have a DMH cat that is about 13 years old and a DSH cat that is about 2 years old. I love working with animals, especially dogs. I have been dog sitting since I was 12. I have taken care of dogs as small as teacup chihuahuas and as large as 3 full German Shepards at once. He took tons of pics (most really well done, almost professional-looking) and kept us up to date, and Benny seemed safe, healthy, and happy the whole time. He can be a little particular—he's an older dog with dietary restrictions, doesn't care much for other animals, and takes some time to warm up to new people—but they were incredibly patient, attentive, and understanding of his needs. They kept me updated, followed all of his instructions, and gave me peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. It's never easy leaving your pet behind, especially one with a few quirks, but I felt completely comfortable with Spike in their care.
