By the time we got home, the resulting mess was minimal and contained and that is because she diligently helped us monitor and she cleaned them up immediately even though that was very much outside of her job description! Stephanie made a really crappy situation manageable for us and gave us the piece of mind to still be able to enjoy our trip! She also took great care of our cat, it was clear when we arrived home that he was happy and well cared for! Stephanie, we are so grateful for your help and for the excellent care you provided! She even got our tortoiseshell scaredy-cat who is nervous about everything, especially strangers, to come out of her shell to get plenty of petting, brushing, and play time. About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life and have always had a deep love for them. Growing up, I was the person friends, family, and neighbors trusted to pet sit, and that’s continued into adulthood. I’ve also worked at a doggy daycare, where I gained hands on experience caring for multiple dogs, understanding different temperaments, and maintaining a safe, structured environment. I have experience with large breeds and am comfortable handling big dogs, as well as administering medication when needed. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and I understand how important it is to keep them safe, happy, and on their normal routine. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they get plenty of attention, care, and love while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule and work from home, which allows me to give pets consistent attention throughout the day. I’m available in the afternoons until 4pm for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. Because I build pet care into my daily routine, I’m able to stay attentive, stick to your pet’s schedule, and make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. I offer complimentary meet-and-greets before every boarding stay so we can get to know each other, discuss your pet’s routine, and make sure we’re the perfect fit. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel comfortable and confident before their stay. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my highest priorities. I always follow each owner’s care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications (if needed), potty breaks, and exercise routines. I have a spacious backyard where dogs enjoy supervised outdoor play and potty breaks. Pets are never left unattended outside. For everyone’s safety, I strongly prefer dogs that are comfortable being crated overnight. I provide a clean, extra-large (XL) crate with a comfortable dog bed, or you’re welcome to bring your dog’s own bed or favorite blanket to help them feel more at home. If your dog has a different nighttime routine, we’ll discuss it during our meet-and-greet to determine if we’re a good fit. During the day, dogs are supervised, receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and lots of love. If your pup gets muddy or messy during their stay, I’m happy to give them a bath with your permission so they go home clean and comfortable. You’ll receive regular photo updates throughout the day, plus a bedtime photo so you can see your pup happy, comfortable, and settled in for the night. If I ever notice anything out of the ordinary, I’ll contact you right away. My goal is to provide a safe, clean, and loving home where your pet feels like part of the family while you’re away.

I’m here for you! I am free most any day or time, even “off” hours or holidays. I need only a few hours notice, usually, as I’m seeking employment. I can only come to you or take your pup to a park or walk, as my apartment doesn’t allow for visitors, unfortunately. I can feed, water, give treats, play, walkies, cuddles, and of course lots of scratches and belly rubs! About: I have had a pet in my home since I was born. The first dog I remember was Ginger, then PJ, then Sparkie, then Jenna and Millie, Anja and Argus, then Bonnie and Clyde, and now we have our very friendly buddy, Gustav. They ranged from a miniature Schnauzer and Jack Russels to Rottweilers and German Shepherds. My closest friend's dad bred and trained German Shepherds while I was in high school. I was surrounded by a pack most of my life and loved it. I owned a local pup friendly pub for 14 years and made it a point to great every dog that came in. I am hoping for the chance to see some of those dogs again! My current schedule is very flexible, so I can focus on the pet's care when they need it. I understand that different pets require different things at different times and I am able and willing to accommodate with a bit of forewarning. I have a fenced in yard and a very friendly 10 month old puppy who loves new company. He and I go for walks around our neighborhood daily and we do outings to the park a few times a week. I have 2 cats that are indifferent to dogs and they have their own separate space so they can be alone if they want. I deep clean the litter boxes at least twice a week and would be happy to do the same for your kitties at your home. (Access to a hose outside is very helpful for this) I have room for crates and pets are not left outside unattended. I am very vigilant about picking up poop and want to keep a clean yard for the pups to play in.

Each dog has separate medications that needed to be taken daily which she administered with no problems.
