“Birdie had a great stay with Aura and her family. I appreciated the updates and photos. I was happy to see my energetic pup running around having fun with the other dogs. I will definitely rebook. Thank you!”

“Tracy is a wonderful caretaker. This was Rosie’s first time with her. Tracy really focused on my dog, and spent time with her to make sure was happy and having fun. She left me a lot of updates to reassure me throughout the day. I know my dog was well taken care of and had fun at her home.”

“My first time using rover, and I found Marina gave me such comfort with her care with Fluffy! Fluffy was so relaxed when I picked him up. Thank you so much marina!”

“Dani was amazing! She had everything already set up to welcome little Blueberry into her home. She was sweet and kind. Blueberry was instantly right at home. Dani took great care of her and sent pictures every day. I will definitely be leaving Blueberry with Dani again when I go out of town!”

“One week ago, I'd never thought of leaving my dogs with someone, but today I can whole-heartedly recommend it! Amelia and her lovely family made my Border Collie babies feel at-home and safe even when I was thousands of miles away. Her thoughtful attention-to-detail and frequent Pupdates (with photos!) made my withdrawal from them much easier (and I'm sure they were having so much fun with Daisy that they forgot to miss me :) 100 per cent recommend and will definitely book again next time I have to leave them in town! Thank you so much, Amelia, God Bless you and yours <3”

“Ralphie had so much fun with Bridget and her family! They sent daily pictures, were very responsive and treated Ralphie like one of their own. We will definitely book again!”

“Coach had a great time with Heather and her family. She was very communicative and sent me home with one tired dog! We would definitely leave Coach in Heather’s care again.”

“Oreo loves Christina. She is absolutely fantastic! She treated our dog, Oreo like family. He was so happy and well-cared for. Oreo is a picky eater but Christina is so patient to him and always makes sure that he will eat his food. We received daily photos and updates which gave us peace of mind while away. Highly recommend!!”

“Melinda is so amazing and my Benny really enjoyed his stay. She gives updates throughout the day. She made my experience as a new puppy mom very easy. We will be regulars.”

About: I live a block from the beach & can guarantee a sunrise and sunset walk daily. I also work from home, so your doggo will have company. I have a fenced yard and an XL crate, if you need one. I've had two big/XL dogs. My last dog passed away recently (she was 14) and I'm not ready to get another dog of my own yet. I live at the beach, so we'll enjoy sunrise & sunset walks daily to avoid the hot afternoon pavement. Frequent bathroom breaks are also possible in my fenced yard. I work from home (mostly conference calls) so I'm pretty flexible. Doggos can mostly have free reign of the house, depending on the owner's confidence. I also have a large crate if supervision is needed for the dog's safety. I've had XL & large dogs for the last 15 years (no dogs in the house currently)

About: I’ve had dogs all of my life and started professionally pet sitting about 10 years ago when I retired. I have a fenced yard and can also walk your dogs throughout in my neighborhood if it’s under 50 lbs (for safety reasons). I’m 75 and am home during the day to cuddle your furry babies! Most days, I’ll go out to run errands or go to the gym. I like to take a walk in the morning by myself around my neighborhood. I’m at home the rest of the day usually unless I have an appointment. I have a fenced backyard and a screened in porch. I don’t require a crate for your dog or cat as long as they are potty trained.
“Such a great experience with Mariana. Great communication before and during this visit! I can tell Gunner had a great time and came home exhausted! Thank you for taking such excellent care of him!”

“Roseanna takes amazing care of our fur babies! She keeps us updated with messages and photos and makes sure they stay active and engaged. When we got home, they were happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for, which says it all. We had total peace of mind knowing they were in such great hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for top-notch pet care!”

“Rachel did an amazing job looking after my dog over a 10-day vacation that I had. She was very communicative and supplied updates alongside pictures for the ease of any anxiety I would have leaving my baby in her care. She also asked if certain behaviors were normal or abnormal for my dog further allowing me to know she was really attentive to how he was behaving and what he needed. Would definitely book again!”

“Once again, great as always! Always feel so comfortable bringing Link to stay here! So kind and helpful! Link always gets plenty of playtime, walks, and attention here & gets treated so well, I can’t say enough good things😀 wouldn’t want him staying with anyone else!”

About: Hello, I have been a dog sitter for over 10 years. I understand that it can be scary to your fur baby to be away from home or with someone they may not know well. I'm retired so I can spend time with them to get to know their personality. To play or cuddle or just rest. I have a fenced, shady, back yard for the nature loving pups. I keep one dog at a time. The other dog at my home is my 10 year old mini schnauzer, Finn. Beside boarding I do wellness visits to your home that can include administering medicine, mobility checks for seniors, or just companionship. As well, I offer day care if that better fits your needs. I am Red Cross certified in Pet First Aid which includes CPR training. All dogs must be spade/neutered. I am not equipped to care for puppies, so I don't take dogs under 1 year old. Also, I love cats, but I'm allergic to them. I'm available during weekends and holidays. I'm flexible and will work to accommodate your schedule. Most importantly, I love dogs, they're awesome. I treat them all as though they were mine. See you soon at a meet and greet! My schedule allows me to work around the dog's needs. If I need to run out, I try not to be gone more than an hour. In that case, I turn doggie cameras on to monitor everything while I'm gone. I am within eyesight of the dog during the day inside. When we go out into the yard, I don't leave them alone there. I will crate the dog if you want them crated. I try to keep their routine the way they are used to it.

“I am so grateful to have found Kelly! She is responsive, punctual, a great communicator, and my kitties have taken to her immediately. I will definitely be booking with her again!!”

“Michelle did a wonderful job caring for our two cats, Mila and Rudy, during our 7-day trip. She was professional, reliable, and gave us peace of mind while we were away. She sent daily updates and photos whenever she could find our two little hiders, which we really appreciated! When we returned home, the litter boxes were clean, the water bowls were fresh, and most importantly, Mila and Rudy were happy and well cared for. It was clear that Michelle took her responsibilities seriously and treated our cats with kindness and care. We are grateful for her help and would be happy to have her watch Mila and Rudy again in the future. Highly recommend! 🐾💕”

“Renee was once again awesome. My cat, Juice, is very comfortable with her and she’s gives all the right details when filling out the reports at the end of every visit. Highly recommend!”

About: I am comfortable taking care of cats who need oral medications, seniors with dementia, and cats with special needs. My cat Sophie had Crohn’s disease and dementia so I had to give her daily medication throughout her life.

“Adri was on time, attentive to all of our furry friends’ needs, and watchful about everything going on at our house!! She communicated thoroughly and we had complete confidence that all of our needs were being met! We will definitely have our pets’ new best friend back to watch them again soon!!”

I'm also comfortable administering oral medications and following specific care instructions to help maintain your pet's normal routine. Because I work from home, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive care during walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting stays. My goal is always to make your pets feel comfortable and cared for while giving you peace of mind when you're away. “5/5 – Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! 🌟 Molly was an absolute gem as our cat and house sitter. From the moment we met for the meet & greet, she came across as so professional, thoughtful, and genuinely caring — she instantly put our minds at ease. She asked all the right questions, took detailed notes, and made us feel completely confident leaving our home and our shy boy, Black Fury, in her hands. During the sit, she went above and beyond in every way. Black Fury (who normally hides from anyone new for days) warmed up to her beautifully — I still can’t quite believe it! We received lovely regular updates with little stories about their day, which meant the world to us while we were away. Our home was looked after with such care, everything was spotless, and it honestly felt like Molly was just another member of the household. We are so grateful to have found someone so trustworthy, kind, and capable. It was truly a pleasure having her in our home, and we would welcome her back with open arms in a heartbeat. We’re already looking forward to booking her again next time we travel! Thank you so much, Molly — you’re the best! 🐾🏡”

About: I’ve volunteered several summers in row washing kennels and food bowls playing with the kittens and post them on social media to help get them adopted. I have two dogs of my own and have taken care of multiple animals at once. I can and will gladly work any day and I will care for your furry family as if they are my own. Your furry friends are safe in my care! I take my dog for regular walks and to the groomers I brush him daily and make sure he is comfortable in his harness and leash. I am able to effectively use commands that your dog is used to. And can give tips are effective ways of to teach commands and keeping them safe and happy.
“It was my first time using Rover so I was nervous leaving Chester for a week. It was reassuring getting all the photos and updates and Sam was quick to respond. I could tell Chester was well taken care of and was in great hands! I would definitely use Sam again to watch Chester!”

About: Through volunteer work with a cat rescue organization, I’ve provided hands-on care for stray and highly timid cats. Working with both rescue cats and my own has given me a strong understanding of cat behavior, routines, and body language. I’ve been around cats since I was a baby and currently have three of my own. I’ve also cared for cats with special needs who required daily oral medication, so I’m familiar with medication administration. Keeping litter boxes clean is second nature, and I pay close attention to routines, behavior changes, litter box habits, and all the small details that help keep cats healthy, comfortable, and stress-free.
About: I provide calm, attentive and reliable care for dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages — including puppies, seniors and dogs who need a slower, more grounded presence. I currently care for five dogs of my own, all with different personalities and needs, so I’m very comfortable managing routines, walks, feeding schedules, medications and individual care. I pay close attention to a dog’s emotional state and adjust pace, structure and energy accordingly. My approach is steady and respectful. Dogs tend to settle quickly with me and many clients tell me their dogs are calmer and happier after our walks. I prioritize safety, communication and consistency and I treat every dog as if they were my own. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, and I’m able to be flexible with scheduling. I plan my days to ensure dogs receive consistent attention, exercise, and care without rushing. I prioritize safety, clear routines, and calm handling at all times. I follow owner instructions carefully, use secure leashes, and pay close attention to each dog’s comfort, behavior, and surroundings, whether in my home or theirs.
About: I have worked at a doggy boarding and daycare facility for eight years. I have been managing for three of those eight years. I have cared for numerous breeds and dogs of all ages. I do have a soft spot for elderly dogs, but do love walking and playing with younger, energetic dogs as well. As a result of my years of experience, I am capable of giving all forms of medication, making meals (dry, canned, homemade, raw, etc), and I have worked with dogs and cats of all temperaments. I have started this little business because I have seen how much happier pets are when they are cozy at home compared to a boarding facility, especially if they are prone to anxiety when they are away from home. I, myself, own a corgi named Clancy. He is a very happy little boy. I am off from my other job from Wednesday afternoon to Saturday. I have appointments every other Thursday from 11 to 1:30, but aside from that, I'm free. Walking and drop-ins work best for my schedule as they are the most flexible jobs offered here. I will walk your dogs wherever you feel comfortable. If they have a beloved route, I will keep them on it. During drop-ins, I will adhere to any instructions you have. At my place of work, I follow food and care instructions (that always vary) daily.

“Tracy is an exceptional caregiver. I have a 15 year old miniature pinscher that Tracy took care of for the day recently. Throughout the day, Tracy checked in with me via text, sending pics of my chilled out dog. I knew my dog was comfortable and calm when Tracy sent a pic of her begging for snacks. When I picked up my dog later that afternoon, she was relaxed and sleepy. Tracy is a consummate professional. After I contacted her about day care, we had a meet and greet so my dog could get acquainted with her. Tracy was on time and exhibited kindness and trustworthiness from the get go. She loves dogs and it showed. I hope to use her day care service again because I know my dog will be well taken care of. Compassion, kindness, and trustworthiness are qualities that Tracy possesses in abundance. I highly recommend her.”

“I am so grateful to have found Mariana to take care of my dog Bentley. She is a fantastic, caring and loving person and Bentley had a wonderful, fun, and safe time with Mariana. While I was out on vacation, Mariana took care of Bentley so professional and so sweet. I will leave Bentley again with Mariana without a doubt. Thank you.”

“Rachel was a wonderful dog sitter for Rosie. My dog played all day with her dog and got a lot of exercise. She communicated with me throughout the day to give me updates about my dog. She made me feel comfortable having her as a person my dog will love to go see in the future visits”

“Katie was wonderful with Bella! She took her on a walk, played with her, made sure she stayed entertained, and even gave her some nap time. I really appreciated the detailed updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while Bella was in her care. Katie is so friendly, personable, and clearly loves what she does. Bella had a great time, and I felt completely comfortable leaving her in Katie’s care. I would absolutely recommend Katie to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter! 🐾💕”

“Pepper went back a second time to visit her new friends. She was visibly excited to see them. I’m very happy to have found a place she is comfortable in. Thanks Lisa & Charlie. See you next time!”

“We had such a great experience! This was a pretty last-minute booking while we were visiting St. Augustine, and she was incredibly accommodating and easy to work with from the start. Clara was well cared for and happy when we picked her up, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were out for the day. Communication was smooth, and we really appreciated her flexibility—especially when we ended up running late due to traffic. She was very understanding and kind about it, which meant a lot. We would absolutely trust her with Clara again and highly recommend her to anyone needing reliable, compassionate care!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my entire life. I have experience with senior dogs as well as crazy hipper dogs who just want attention. I am structured and kind and prefer pets to people. I own my own business and am available to board your pups all days of the week and weekends. I will do my best to accommodate your needs. I have raised golden retrievers but now only have one black lab (Starlight) and I understand the stress of leaving our fur babies. I have a fenced in yard and a very friendly dog. I can crate your dog if that is your wishes but my dog is friendly. I have an 8 year old black lab.
“Our family was visiting the St. Augustine area on a summer beach vacation and needed some doggy day care to enable us to do some fun activities with our grandchildren. We needed care for our 2 very energetic goldendoodles and playtime with other pups. Megan provided a safe and caring environment for them as well as other fur friends during Cooper and Murphy's stay. Megan's home had a large fenced backyard that all of the dogs could play and chase one another! Her love and caring heart was very apparent when she met our 2 boys. They had so much fun and were so excited each (3) day of their stay. Thank you very much!!! We highly recommend Megan and her dog sitting care/service 100%!!! Thanks to Rover.com as well.”

“Tatum did a great job watching our Charlotte! Tatum was super flexible and accommodating with a last minute visit. While we were gone, she stayed in contact with us and sent pictures and updates. Charlotte was happy and comfortable at her home. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you!”

“We just moved to the area and Michelle has been great with Buddy, our old beagle. He really enjoys going on walks with her and she sends me lots of pics and updates on how he is doing.”

About: I've been around animals my whole life, and love them dearly. I watch out for them like they are my own kids. I'm trustworthy and hard-working. I've lived with cats, hamsters, horses, a Golden Retriever, a Dalmatian (with pups!), and several mixed breed and smaller dogs throughout the years; and am looking forward to calling your little BFF a friend of mine too! I am a 42 year old mother of three. My eldest daughter is 22, my son is 17, and my youngest daughter is 1 and a half. I've been doing Rover on the side for several years now, and have met all kinds of pets. I'm always glad to be able to help families out while they're away by taking care of their dear furry friends. Originally from Middle Tennessee, my family and I recently moved to St Augustine, Florida, and are still trying to get established. Love the area very much, and hope to spend the rest of our lives here. I'm currently only doing drop-in visits for dogs as I had fleas brought in a couple of times that were passed onto other dogs. I'm sorry that I can't offer that service anymore, but I don't want to go through that again. I am also glad to keep (or do drop-in visits) for cats, rodents, and birds for a lower rate...also drop-ins for livestock, with the rate depending on the job. Dinosaurs are a little extra ;o) I just had a new baby and am on a leave of absence from my job with Metro Schools. I am available most any time for drop-in visits and walks. I will follow your instructions for their feeding and/or care and take the same precautions for their safety as I would take with my own pets.
“This is by far the most professional dog sitting experience I have ever had! Amazed by Derowen's approach to this work. Not only did she show clear enthusiam for what she does, but she took the effort to make a small report and share a ton of photos from her time with my dog. Not to mention the perfectly clear and rather friendly communication. I am frankly in awe of this experience. I could not recommend her more!”

About: I am a physical therapy student looking to make alittle money during this time. I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. I am a proud cat and dog mom of a 6-year-old black lab that I have raised since she was a puppy and a 3-year-old cat. I currently have a flexible schedule, so I end up with more time on my hands than I know what to do with. This is great because I can then play and walk your fur babies when they need it. I enjoy walking my dog outside and when my cat likes to go on walks he tend to join as well. I make sure that harnesses or collars are appropriately put on to ensure safe and fun walking. If you are in need of a bath for your dog, I am available to do that as well. I am not a professional, but I have experience in bathing and drying, labs, boykin spinals, and labrodoodles. I currently have my own professional pet drying machine as well for quicker drying.

“Lisa was a great sitter! We got lots of pictures, videos and updates. Our dog had so much outdoor playtime and other dog friends to play with. This is a great house where he got lots of attention from everyone in the family. We will definitely Use for booking again. Thank you, Lisa!”

“Natalie was wonderful, a true dog lover, you can tell when animals "feel" an animal lover. Her children are as well and her Mom who helped. She was very communicative as well without any confusion. Very much appreciated! I would highly recommend!!”

“I would love to say she was horrible so no one books her when I need her…lol. But the truth is; she is absolutely amazing. Took such good care of my furbaby. Nellie is great with communication too and sent me picture updates which I really appreciated. Since this was my first time leaving my pup with someone. I am absolutely only using her is possible.”
